38. All Things Testify of God’s Love with Nova Sonomura
Send me a message! When Nova looks back on his spiritual journey, he often thinks of Alma 30:44, a verse that reminded him of God’s love during a time when he felt really discouraged. In this powerful verse, Alma teaches that we don’t need dramatic signs to know God is real because “all things denote there is a God,” from the scriptures to the earth and heavens around us. Feeling the Lord’s compassion through that scripture sparked a desire in Nova to recognize and share God’s love everywhere, and that theme has followed him throughout his life. When he was 12 years old he took on a challenge to bear his testimony every fast Sunday and read the entire Book of Mormon. As he thought and prayed about everything he began to feel the Spirit. Over the years, small promptings opened unexpected doors and strengthened his desire to serve. Eventually he served in the Japan Kobe Mission, where teaching people who knew very little about Christianity taught him to rely completely on the Spirit and to share the gospel in simple, genuine ways. Today, Nova’s life reflects steady faith, quiet consistency, compassion, and a sincere love for God and the people around him. These qualities continue to guide him as he strives to walk with the Savior every day.

37. Sharing the Savior’s Light through Love and Example with Noel Fulumu'a
Send me a message! Noel loves to “talk of Christ and rejoice in Christ” — 2 Nephi 25:26. She was born and raised in Samoa and comes from generations of faith and light. Her story is one of humility, trust, and deep devotion to the Savior. When her plans didn’t go as expected, she chose to turn to the Lord and found new purpose through His guidance. At BYU–Hawaii, she discovered strength through service, sisterhood, and tender temple miracles. Now back in Samoa, Noel continues to share her testimony and reflect Christ’s light so others can come to know Him too.In my closing remarks I talk about The Family Proclamation and how it’s revelation for our day. Its truths anchor us to Christ and remind us that family relationships are the very heart of God’s plan. Also how it has inspired my husband and I to be more intentional about how we lead and nurture our own family.

36. Finding Power and Peace in His Holy House with Naomi Fujii
Send me a message! Naomi Fujii joins me to share her testimony through the words of Mosiah 2:9, a verse that reminds us to open our hearts and minds to the word of God with humility and faith. She connects this verse to the temple, a place that has brought her strength, peace, and closeness to the Savior. Especially during difficult times. Naomi also shares Alma 26:16, expressing her joy and gratitude for the Savior’s hand in her life. She grew up in a loving home with wonderful parents who taught her about Jesus Christ and His gospel. Soon she will begin her mission in the Spain Madrid North Mission, and her bright spirit, deepened testimony, and love for Jesus Christ will surely bless all she meets. My closing thoughts I share insights from Come, Follow Me about receiving “grace for grace” in Doctrine and Covenants 93, and how Amulek’s story in Alma 10 taught me more about growing step by step through repentance, obedience, and the sacrament."King Benjamin's Sermon as a Type of Temple Endowment" by Andrew Miller https://scholarsarchive.byu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1003&context=interpreter

35. Standing in Holy Places & Trusting God with Kalani Au
Send me a message! In this episode, Kalani shares how Alma 38:1–5 came to him at a crucial moment in the MTC, giving him an instant testimony that the Book of Mormon is true and that Heavenly Father knew, heard, and was guiding him. From his upbringing in Hawaii to serving in the Philippines Bacolod Mission, and now as a husband and father, Kalani reflects on how small choices, steady faith, and the Lord’s quiet guidance have helped him build a family anchored in Jesus Christ. In closing, I talk about how we can stand in holy places, physically and spiritually, by studying the Book of Mormon daily, spending time in the temple, and being a witness of Jesus Christ. Send me a message! In this episode, Terava opens up about how her testimony of the Book of Mormon grew gradually. Through quiet witness, meaningful moments, and touchstone scriptures she learned in seminary and in her young adult life. One verse in particular, 2 Nephi 29:7, helped her feel seen and remembered by God as someone from the Pacific Islands. Her testimony, like a black pearl, didn’t appear overnight. 34. Part 1- Faith Through the Storm: Trusting the Savior When Life Falls Apart with Terava Casey
Send me a message! Terava is a devoted wife, mother of five, and disciple of Jesus Christ whose testimony has been shaped through deep trials and powerful faith. As she reflects on Ether 2 and 6, she relates to the Jaredites’ storm-filled journey as they were tossed by waves, shut in tight spaces, and utterly dependent on the Lord. In one of her hardest trials, she learned to trust that the very winds and waves meant to toss her were also carrying her closer to Christ and the life He had prepared for her. Raised in Hawai‘i Kai and now living on O‘ahu’s North Shore, Terava’s life is rooted in covenant living, temple service, and a love for her family, students, and the Savior. She’s a beautiful soul with a powerful testimony, and her story is one of hope, resilience, and faith refined through fire.

33. Delivered by the Lord: How Humility and Repentance Bring Miracles with Spencer Crane
Send me a message! Mosiah 29:20 teaches that the Lord is mindful of His people and will deliver them when they turn to Him. Spencer Crane’s story is a powerful example of that promise. Spencer was raised in the Church, but during high school, he drifted away from the gospel. After graduating, he joined the Army, which brought many challenges. During a visit from his family, a priesthood blessing from his dad changed everything and made him want to turn his life around. It wasn’t an instant change, but through small efforts, like reading a few verses of the Book of Mormon each day and praying, Spencer began to rebuild his faith and he came to know Jesus Christ as a personal Savior and true Friend. He’s now preparing to serve a full-time mission in Puerto Rico. His story shows that even through setbacks and hard times, the Lord can build something beautiful one step, one verse, and one prayer at a time.Closing remarks I talk about how my family and I went to hear Spencer give a talk and how he powerfully bore testimony that The Book of Mormon has the power to change us. Because it leads us to Jesus Christ, who heals, strengthens, and transforms every part of our lives.

32. Christ Bore Our Griefs and Calls Us to Share His Hope with Macy Arner
Send me a message! Mosiah 14:4–5 teaches that Christ bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, and Alma 17:11 reminds us that the Lord can make us instruments in His hands to share His hope. Macy Arner shares how both of these truths shaped her as a missionary in Japan. As a resilient military kid who moved 14 times, Macy found strength in the gospel—especially during her high school years through seminary and the Book of Mormon. Her story is a reminder that as we seek the Lord, especially in times of change, He heals us, guides us, and helps us become who He needs us to be.My end thoughts give a shout out to all the amazing military kids this April! The combination of military life and being rooted in the gospel of Jesus Christ has helped Macy and my own kids grow in faith, strength, and confidence no matter where life takes them.

31. Firm Foundation: Building on Christ, the Rock, to Overcome Life’s Storms with Michele Reyes
Send me a message! Helaman 5:12 has helped Michele come to know important truths, especially as she faced one of her hardest trials, the loss of her arm in a car accident. She didn't know how life was going to be and if she'd be able to handle many things, including raising kids. But, as she stayed on the covenant path, relying on Christ as her foundation, she found the strength to persevere and overcome her fears. She now knows that through Christ, all things are possible. Her love for the gospel and her trust in the Lord have shaped every part of her life, from her time as a missionary in Spokane, Washington, to her role today as a Gospel Doctrine teacher and mother of seven. Michelle’s life is a testament to the power of building on the Rock of our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Not only has He helped her overcome trials but also find joy, purpose, and a deeper testimony through them.My closing remarks I talk about the Provo Tabernacle and its incredible transformation into a beautiful temple! I compared it to how similar it is when we anchor our lives to Jesus Christ through covenants, we become spiritually unshakable, able to withstand life's trials just as Helaman 5:12 teaches.

30. Called to Serve: Missionary Service Blesses Lives with Harvey Kim
Send me a message! Alma 17 and the amazing story of the sons of Mosiah has been a strength to Harvey in his life! When Harvey was 17 he decided to not serve a mission and later enlisted in the Air Force, but five years later, he felt the Lord calling him to serve a mission. He served 2 years on the Navajo Reservation, where his mission became a life-changing experience. Despite challenges like learning the language, he gained a powerful testimony of submitting to God’s will, just like the sons of Mosiah. That lesson gave him the confidence to return to college, meet his wife, pursue a challenging career, and raise a wonderful family. Through faith and obedience, Harvey has seen the Lord shape his life in ways he never expected. I hope you enjoy hearing his inspiring testimony of Jesus Christ and the Book of Mormon! My end thoughts I share how I've prayed for my boys since they were little to grow closer to the Lord, serve missions, and become the men He needs them to be. Parenting is both challenging and rewarding, but I have found peace in knowing that through Christ’s Atonement, He makes up the difference, strengthens us in our trials, and leads us to lasting joy.

27. By the Power of the Holy Ghost with Lucy Herrera
Send me a message! Moroni 10:4-5 is scripture that changed Lucy's life. This scripture perfectly reflects her strong and unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. Growing up in Gallup, New Mexico, on the Navajo Reservation's checkerboard area, Lucy learned traditional teachings from her father and mother, who were both a medicine man and medicine woman, about plants, songs, and their cultural heritage. She grew up with a deep connection to her Navajo roots, but when she was 8 years old her life took a transformative turn as she went on the Indian Student Placement Program through The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As she learned, her faith brought her profound spiritual strength, which was solidified at age 14 when she read the Book of Mormon daily and felt the Spirit testify to her of its truth. From her childhood herding sheep and learning gratitude for the Creator’s provisions, to her time as a missionary in Honduras and a 30-year career as a combat medic in the Army, Lucy’s life has been a testament to her commitment to God, her Navajo heritage, and her love for others. Today, she continues to honor her heritage and faith in Jesus Christ. My end remarks I talk about how Lucy truly embodies Hózhó (beauty, harmony, balance, and peace) and "Walks in Beauty" everyday. I explain how I think this traditional Diné teaching parallels walking the gospel path of Jesus Christ. Both require dedication, integrity, faith, and a connection with the Creator to navigate challenges and find joy and reflect His light and spread beauty and goodness to the world around us.Traditional Navajo Teachings "Walking in Beauty": https://youtu.be/8tZHIER3Jb4Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health "Walk in Beauty": https://youtu.be/DKxGuUrp9M8

26. Prayer Opens the Heavens with Caroline Burton
Send me a message! Mosiah 4:14-15 was an answer to a mother’s prayer! Caroline’s husband was frequently away on military duty, leaving her to parent alone. One challenge she struggled with was contention among her children. As she prayed for guidance, she came across this scripture, which inspired her to teach her children to love and serve one another instead of fighting. From that point on, whenever her children argued, she would have them write down Mosiah 4:14-15 and explain that contention was not welcome in their home. She then had them find ways to serve one another throughout the day. Over time, this simple practice reduced the arguments and brought greater peace and the Spirit into their home. For Caroline, the scriptures continue to provide the guidance and answers she needs.

24. Seeking Truth in the Name of Christ with David Morrell
Send me a message! Moroni 10:4-5 is one of David Morrell's favorite scriptures! At 91 years old he's spent a lifetime in the service of the Lord and as he’s applied Moroni’s promise in Moroni 10:4-5 he knows by the power of the Holy Ghost that the things taught in the Book of Mormon are true! Also that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been restored through the prophet Joseph Smith, who was a true prophet of God! Amidst the Korean War he's grateful for the tender mercies of the Lord and that he was able to serve a full-time mission to Denmark where his great grandparents were from. Then while serving in the Army he feels so blessed to have become acquainted with Kim Ho Jik, the first South Korean convert, and to help spread the gospel in South Korea. He considers this his "2nd mission." He's accomplished and experienced many great things in his life with his dear late wife, 7 children (who all served full-time missions) and 1 American Indian foster daughter, and his 31 grandchildren. He is grateful to have lived long enough to see the church grow as it has and to have him and all of his family participate in the Gathering of Israel!"Feed My Sheep" Kim Ho Jik, "Global Stories"

Send me a message! 2 Nephi 31:10-13 has been a very important scripture to Padma since she first started learning about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. She grew up in India and belonged to a strong Lutheran family. She first heard about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from her Uncle who moved from India to American Samoa to work. He and his family were taught by Latter-day missionaries and joined the church. When he came home to India and taught Padma and her family she felt the power and truthfulness of his words! Send me a message! 2 Nephi 25:26 has been a good reminder to Chelsea that she needs to talk about and rejoice in Jesus Christ everyday! The Book of Mormon has strengthened her testimony of Jesus Christ by giving her more information about why Jesus Christ is important. She loves learning more about Him and His purposes. My end thoughts I share about an experience my husband and I had with a Chinese friend and visiting his village in the countryside of China. They had lots of questions about God, but because the Chinese government doesn’t allow foreigners to teach about religion in China, we couldn’t share anything about our beliefs in God. My end “Come, Follow Me” thoughts I talk about Christ's Infinite Atonement and how we need His compassion.

6. Faithful Mothers Who Know with Chucky Stevens
Send me a message! Chucky was blessed to be raised by a faithful mother who knows her Father in Heaven and Savior Jesus Christ. This is why Alma 56:47 & 48 is so meaningful to him. Deciding to serve a mission wasn't an easy decision for him, but he learned on his mission how valuable his testimony was to him and how much more he could grow his testimony as he diligently served as a missionary. Not only as a missionary, but continually throughout his life as he always puts faith in the Lord like his mom taught him. He knows agency is so important and that we get to choose our choices, but we don’t get to choose the consequences. So as he learns to master the “natural man” with Christ he will have the power to overcome the adversary and not doubt and do God’s will! My end "Come, Follow Me" thoughts I talk about 2 Nephi 3-5 and Ether 3:4 and how I correlate them to temple covenants and how repentance brings happiness.

5. The Gospel of Jesus Christ Blesses Our Lives with Rick Bernico
Send me a message! Rick Bernico has been on quite the journey to fully immerse himself in the gospel of Jesus Christ! After being in and out of the church he became agnostic for nearly 30 years and it wasn't until he faced a car accident that he could have lost his life in that he started to recognize how blessed he had been. For the first time in a very long time he started to have overwhelming feelings of gratitude towards God and after a powerful experience where God clearly answered Rick's prayer he promised he'd go back to church. Rick now realizes how much the gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed his life and not only blessed his life, but saved his life! At the end I share how we can use our agency to follow the Lord and make progress on the covenant path to have true happiness and joy. My end CMF thoughts I talk about this week’s “Come, Follow Me” lesson in 2 Nephi 2 as Lehi taught his son Jacob about agency. I tie it into what I learned in Ether 7 & 8 about why agency is so important to Heavenly Father.

4. Jesus Christ Knows How to Succor Us with Myriam Skelton
Send me a message! Join today as Myriam shares beautiful thoughts about Alma 7:11-12. Myriam is a woman of faith who has built a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and knows that He will always be there to succor her! As Myriam has read the Book of Mormon the spirit has taught her that it is a book about real people with real feelings that went through some of the same things we all go through in life. Sometimes we might struggle and be hard on ourselves, but the Lord will succor us and he doesn’t expect for us to be like anyone else but us. As Myriam has realized this she knows that she only has to do her part and it will be impactful, especially in knowing she is a daughter of God and can conquer anything with Him! My end thoughts follow this week's "Come, Follow Me" lesson about about how we can "build the ship" and learn from Nephi about facing adversity with faith in Jesus Christ.

3. Coming to know Christ & Rejoicing in Him with Sala Toelupe
Send me a message! Sala is a true light to the world and holds 2 Nephi 25:26 close to her heart! She is so grateful she was raised in a faithful home with wonderful parents and grandparents who taught her about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Throughout her youth she relied on her parents faith and testimony and it wasn't until she served as missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints that her faith grew and she gained her own testimony. While she was on her mission in the Philippines she knew something was missing from her testimony. After much thought she knew it was the Book of Mormon that was missing. Up to this point in her life she hadn't read it all the way through. As she read it for the first time on her mission her faith and testimony began to grow. This was a turning point in her life that helped her to come to know Christ, continually look to Him, and have the strength to face anything that comes her way!

1. Becoming Spiritually Fit with Jholy Mauai
Send me a message! Jholy shares Ether 12:27 in the Book of Mormon. Jholy has always strived to be humble and as he’s done this the peace and blessings of the gospel have blessed his life. As the oldest child in his family he had to grow up fast, so he could help support and take care of his family. During these times it was hard to find peace in his life, but as he prayed and read his scriptures he felt peace. It wasn’t until he left home he quickly realized he found the most peace, love, and warmth within the gospel of Jesus Christ. So he knew it was important to go to church, pray, and read his scriptures. Throughout the years the Lord has shown him his weaknesses, but as he has relied on the Lord and continued to stay humble he has become spiritually fit. Because the Lord has blessed him so much he wants to serve the Lord. Jholy sets a great example for so many to look to the Lord and follow Him! At the end I discuss my thoughts about the first "Come, Follow Me" lesson in the Book of Mormon.
