In each episode, we sit down with a different family from Remedy Church in Waxahachie to hear about where they've come from, how God saved them , how He's currently working in their lives, and what the local church means to them.

Our story with Nathan and Brooke continue as they share how they came out of the hardest season in their marriage and what they’ve learned from that. We see how they used that season to intentionally point themselves and in turn others to the gospel in the other areas of their life, including direct ministry through their family, work, and Remedy Church.

We meet with Nathan and Brooke Daves this time. They serve as missional community leaders and Nathan is one of our lay elders at Remedy Church. We get into their background as they grew up in very different homes in DFW, and met on a mission trip while in college. They openly share their first years of marriage with its struggles and pain which led to a poor choice. Through that, they sought God's grace, chose forgiveness, and came out refined on the other side more in love with Jesus.

The impact of solid biblical preaching and deep relationships were significant to him coming to faith as an adult. Bryan meets Gina and quickly they serve overseas with three young children on the mission field. We hear about some early days at Remedy and we ask them some specific questions on how it is to serve in ministry and its impact on their family.
