What do we do in the quiet seasons of life when God feels silent and nothing seems to be moving? In this episode, Dodi and I talk about trusting the Lord in those still moments and not growing weary in well doing. We discuss laying down old habits, false identities, and accusing voices as we learn to live from a higher spiritual place in Christ. Dodi shares her testimony of how she made the resolve to follow the Lord without compromisewhen things appear still, but preparation is happening before the next big move. Sometimes God is doing His deepest work in the quiet. As we wait on Him, we are reminded not to conform to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

There is power in speaking the Word of God out loud. In this episode, we gather around Psalms 86—not just to read it, but to declare it over our families, our churches, and our communities. We are asking the Lord to teach us His ways, to unite our hearts in truth, and to help us walk closely with Him in every season.This conversation is an invitation to seek Him together. Welcome back, everyone! Today, we’re rooting ourselves deeply in what it means to be truly fruitful. Dodi and I start out with John 15:7 ‘If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit.’ We bear much fruit by diving into the real soil of our life-giving spirit that now has the incorruptible seed of the word of God. Sit with us and listen to how love, born of God, transforms everything.

Pain, loss, anger—we’ve all felt it. But what if holding onto those things is the very thing keeping you from your true identity? In this raw and real episode, we unpack what it truly means to walk in your God-given identity. We get real about grief, healing, and the difference between what feels justified and what is actually true. This is about truth, freedom, and living fully aligned with Him.

Peace isn’t the absence of conflict—it’s the presence of God in the middle of it. Jesus said, “My peace I give to you… not as the world gives.” The world’s peace is temporary and easily shaken, but the peace of God stands firm and guards your heart when everything around you tries to disrupt it.We don’t just receive peace—we choose it. We filter our thoughts, our reactions, and even accusations through truth. When our mind stays on Him, peace keeps us aligned, protects our assignment, and reminds us that we’re not fighting flesh and blood. Peace speakers become peacemakers because they carry what heaven says, not what the world shows.

You obeyed God. You stepped out. And then the accusations came. Why? Because the enemy comes post assignment to make you question your identity. In this episode, we expose the lies, anchor ourselves in truth, and remind you who you are in Christ so you can stand without wavering. In a world full of confusion about identity, roles, and truth, whose voice are you believing? It’s time to stop agreeing with the lie and stand in truth.

As vessels of faith, integrity is a testament to our trust in God and His truth. When we accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, our hearts are transformed, and we can’t help but overflow with His goodness. This world, with all its distractions, can slow this overflow if we allow it and cause us to speak of the evil influence it can have on us. Consistently renewing our minds to God’s word, His truths, and His promises reveals His treasures to our hearts. This develops Godly integrity and allows the overflow of His goodness to bear witness through our testimony. Out of the abundance of our transformed hearts and lives our mouth will speak of these treasures and will draw others to Him to divinely affect their lives.

S2 E4: Encouragement is something we all appreciate. Today, we share ways to encourage ourselves to deny the flesh, the enemy, and lies that distract us from our Savior and tempt us to believe falsehoods. We can daily fight the good fight of faith and choose to say no to contrary thoughts and emotions, reminding ourselves of His promises. Be willing to shift your thoughts, alter your speech, and take ownership of your position as a child of God.

The message emphasizes viewing life as a continuous training ground prepared by the Lord for his divine purpose. It encourages believers to learn to pray and speak the word of God as a proactive measure before challenges arise. This practice will keep you in the Love of God. God's kind of love will reveal personal weaknesses that hinder spiritual growth. The episode highlights the importance of trusting God in all circumstances. Trusting God’s love allows us to see the mercy of God; this trust fosters a closer relationship with Him, especially during times of persecution or unfair treatment.We want to remind listeners that having God's word in their hearts and on their lips empowers them to respond with love and defeat negative works of the flesh. Each challenge we go through can serve as preparation for the next, ultimately guiding the body of Christ towards unity and love. When we stand together, believers can dismantle strongholds that obstruct the advancement of God's kingdom on Earth. The episode concludes with a willing heart to let go of offenses and choose the love of God as the greatest weapon against the enemy, fostering peace and growth within the body of Christ.

Understanding what true fear of the Lord has brought us to a precious place of awe, love, adoration and respectful reverence of our heavenly Father. Not scared or feeling like we need to hide from Him but to desire a closer relationship and walk with Him. Join us in digging deeper into the Word and experience what true fear of the Lord means and how we can apply these teachings, instruction, wisdom and guidance throughout our daily lives. It has brought us great pleasure in knowing we have a loving Father and can benefit from the promises of His goodness to us who believe.

A shift occurs when we choose to be thankful. Does everything in our lives have to be perfect for us to be thankful? The Bible teaches that being thankful is a form of worship and praise to our Creator. Thankfulness for what Jesus accomplished through his life, death, and resurrection will renew our spirits and fill us with joy. Choose to be thankful, even when you don’t feel like it. A mighty and supernatural change takes place within you. As we shift our speech from whining, grumbling, and complaining to gratitude, we can worship in spirit and truth and enter into the throne room of grace. Our view of what we complain about changes, our countenance is uplifted, and our trust is strengthened because He is faithful to finish the work he has begun in us and that is something to be thankful for.

Do not grow weary in well doing. As we enter this New Year and leave behind the memories and the moments of 2025, depend on and trust in the Bread of Life that sustains us, the Word of God that is Jesus our Lord and Savior. Don’t allow the distraction of this life to make you weary in your faithful work for the Lord. He is interceding daily for us preparing our heavenly dwelling. So, just as the servant and the virgins we need to keep our lamps full and a watchful eye for the coming of our Lord. He is coming back for His bride, the Church, the body of Christ, Use!! And, we want Him to find us awake, watching and ready.As we say goodbye to 2025 and look ahead to a New Year, full of potential, stay alert and continue doing what you have been called to do with joy and thankfulness. Keep your lamp full of oil, renew you mind with His Word. Be a faithful doer and share Jesus with everyone you meet. Be ready, awake and alert, not weary, for that time is closer than you think.

Jesus is THE BREAD OF LIFE!! Perhaps it’s no coincidence that this episode would coincide with the birth of our beloved Savior, the age of when he began His ministry to the world and gave His life for us all to have redemption. Now that we are in Him and He is in us we are one body, one loaf (1 Cor. 10:17) and He commissioned us to be sharing this Bread of Life with others. We do this through sharing His love, His life, healing and deliverance through Him and through our prayers for others always speaking the truth. We are children of God, Abraham’s seed and healing and deliverance is ours. Authority has been given to every one of His children and we have the power to release the lies that bind us from having the fullness of the freedom and deliverance that is our birth right. CLAIM IT AND SHARE IT!!

Today’s episode continues directly from Episode 31, moving us deeper into what happens after we reject the enemy’s accusations and step firmly into a relationship with Jesus.Part 2 focuses on full surrender, absolute trust, and the peace of God that guards us—especially in chaos.Once we begin walking closely with the Lord, something shifts. Today’s episode begins a two-part conversation that flows from something simple—a movie—and unfolds into a powerful picture of how the enemy works through accusation, condemnation, and lies.In the film, the tabloids constantly spread lies about a man, painting a distorted picture of who he was. The woman who read those lies began to believe them, until she eventually met him for herself in a comical turn of events. These two must spend a week together, forming a true relationship. She discovered the truth: he was nothing like what the accusations claimed. She not only realized the tabloids were wrong—she actually fell in love with him.In today’s Part 1, we use that story as a mirror for our walk with Christ. We, the Body and the Bride of Christ, often hear accusations about our Savior—voices from the world, from the enemy, even from our own past—that try to distort His character and His goodness. And just like the tabloids in the movie, those voices never stop. They keep publishing. They keep speaking. But once a relationship begins, truth begins. How do we become truly free? Why do we need or want to be free and what are we being freed from? The Word says in John 8:31-32 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciple indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Verse 34 “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” How? Abide in His Word, Why? to live as a son not a slave. What? Sin makes us a slave to the chief of lies.We stand with you holding the Standard and Banner high, professing and claiming His perfect Truth over your life. Let’s walk in this gift of freedom together.

We pick back up where we left off last week discussing the Truth of God’s Word. It is our Standard, Banner, Decree and Profession of our faith on this earth to all mankind.Marlo shares some details from a skit done at Charis Bible College’s Life and Liberty Conference from 9/11/25. Our country’s flag was the colonists’ Standard, Banner, Decree and Profession of their desire for freedom from British rule. The song “Star Spangled Banner” is a testimony of the battle waged and lost by the enemy to destroy that Banner and Symbol of Freedom.In this world there is a battle waged against us by the enemy of our souls with all his lies to distract us and to keep us in bondage and lay down God’s Word of Truth in surrender.True Freedom requires sacrifice. Welcome to Word Day. We are finishing up Psalm 116, verses 14-19. Today, our focus is on creating an atmosphere where we confess the Word and exercise our faith, allowing the strength of our spirit man to rise up and decree and declare the Word of God over circumstances and situations.These verses remind us to worship Him passionately, drench our words with thanksgiving, and offer a sacrifice of praise because He has broken our chains. These truths of God’s Word are the standard in which we decree, declare, and profess on this earth.So settle in and decree the Word of God with us today. We are so glad you are here. We are so very thankful for God's Word and today are sharing out of Psalms 116:1-13. Facing loss, tests, trials and struggles are a part of life however, they do not have to effect us so greatly that we forget that God is with us. The Psalmist expresses this truth by trusting in The Creator of all things including His Word. When our thoughts focus on trusting what He said in His word we can rest through any circumstance and know "It is Well".

Today, we want to encourage the body of Christ to persevere through adversity. Remember that through a steadfast walk with the Lord, you are well-equipped to handle life's unexpected challenges, even when they come at times you feel unprepared to face them. The Lord is never caught off guard, even when we are, and He knows exactly how we will respond. So, please grab a cup of coffee and enjoy our story that illustrates what the unexpected can teach us. When your heart is willing to believe that your life has purpose within the body of Christ, you will see that your gifts and callings are often revealed in moments of adversity.

Last week, we asked, ‘What does it mean to have Jesus as Lord of your life?’ Today, we’ll explore this question further by reading Isaiah 52. Many prophets, inspired by the Holy Spirit, spoke to humanity about many events to come and many of them have already been fulfilled and are currently being fulfilled. The most significant of these fulfilled prophecies is the coming of the Messiah, Jesus. In this passage, we see what it means to have Jesus as Lord of our lives through self-sacrifice/dying to self and the crucifixion, which is also ours.

Job never let his affliction cause him to speak against God. He remained loyal through immense grief, pain and torment knowing and proclaiming who was Lord of his life. Is Jesus the Lord of your life? What does this mean? For us it means placing Him first in everything we think, say and do. But it is so much more than just that. He is Lord of ALL!! We feel a sense of urgency for each member in the body of Christ to rise up and claim Jesus as our Lord and savior and testify of His goodness everywhere. It is what we were created for!!So let’s unite “As One” and be about our Father’s business.

In this episode we ask you to embrace a funeral service with us as we create a visual picture of what dying to sin really looks like. For far too long as believers we have tried to repent of our sins only to over and over again find ourselves continuing in those old ways of sinful behavior. What we need is a true funeral with all the guests that would attend as if we had actually died a physical death. The difference here will be the guests that will forever be saying goodbye to the old you/us. Choose this day to join us as we put to death our old selves and one by one the sins we have allowed to define us. Activate your free will and choose to be dead in Christ Jesus and resurrected with Him, as we not only died with Him on the cross but our sins were nailed to that cross with Him for all eternity. We can now boldly choose to have that fullness of His abundant life reigning in our lives til He comes again.

World view vs. Word viewIn today’s episode, our sincere desire is for those watching or listening to choose the Word View and recognize the significant contrast to the World View. 1 John 4:11-13 in The Passion Translation states:"Delightful loved ones, if He loved us with such tremendous love, then ‘loving one another’ should be our way of life! No one has ever gazed upon the fullness of God’s splendor. But if we love one another, God makes His permanent home in us, and we make our permanent home in Him, and His love is brought to its full expression in us. He has given us His Spirit within us so we can have the assurance that He lives in us and that we live in Him."Our eyes are fixed on the Author and Finisher of our faith as we navigate a world that emphasizes "me, myself, and I," where people often believe they only have one life to live. However, the Word View teaches us that we must first die to self-hatred, hating our neighbor, and ultimately hating God. Embracing the Word View to Love the Lord with all you are, Love others as you love yourself, this love allows us to live permanently with the Father, both now and forever.

Jesus’ prayer for us to be joined together as one, even as He is one with the Father, is so that the world will recognize that the Father sent Jesus. Understanding the importance of unity within the body of Christ is essential. Today’s podcast is a brief discussion on how the physical body was created to function in harmony and can detect when it has been compromised. We, too, can discern when our emotions are being distorted by thoughts and feelings that rise above the knowledge of God. Learn with us how God has given us all we need for life and godliness, and it is Christ in us that causes us to will and do according to His good pleasure. Dodi gives amazing illustrations to bring the point home, spoiler alert: His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Proverbs says if you want the work of an ox, you're going to have a few messes to clean up. Jesus shows us patience, kindness, love, and long suffering in a way that empowers us to walk as He walked with those we serve and do life with, as we build up the body of Christ, forming one child of God at a time. So come and unite yourself to the body of Christ and live a life that is filled with faith to do what he has already prepared for us to do.

I Corinthians 6:19-20. It reads, "Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in spirit, which are God’s.”This powerful scripture reminds us we are not our own we were bought with a price and that was Jesus crucified for us. When this truth penetrates our hearts and renews our minds we can’t help but walk a more humble and obedient walk with the Lord. By being obedient to this revelation we are empowered to willingly walk in love towards one another. For it is the enemy who deceives and desires to defile this temple our bodies as he will do to the future temple that will be built in the last days. We have the power and authority to deny him access, so let’s deny him that access and walk in Love through our humble obedience to His word.

Luke 17:1: "Offenses will come, but woe to him through whom they come."Today, We (Dodi and Marlo) discuss the importance of guarding our hearts against offenses and the importance of not causing offense to others.We examine several scriptures that illustrate how accepting Jesus as Lord transforms a person from darkness to light, highlighting that old things have passed away, and behold, all things are made new.Understanding that we are unlike the first Adam is essential when offenses arise. It’s easy to judge the actions of others and to see them only in their old nature.Join us as we reveal that the beam holding the offense lies in our own eye, not in the other person’s. God is calling the church to remove that beam, which represents the offense or judgment we hold against our brother or sister in their old nature, allowing us to see as God sees.

Welcome back to Part 3 of our podcast on Relationships. In this episode, we explore the importance of understanding our place in the body of Christ, where each of us has unique gifts to maintain its health. We’ve learned that being crucified with Christ means living by faith in the Son of God rather than in the flesh.Dodi emphasizes the importance of surrender and offering our “yes,” which helps us stay connected and prevents spiritual disconnection. God’s Word is our guide, helping us overcome the challenges of living in Him. Marlo shares how Esther recognized her purpose for such a time as this, reminding us that we are called to live surrendered lives. Enjoy our stories as we encourage and challenge each other, and see how our relationship with God will influence all other relationships.

Struggling in relationships is exactly where the enemy would like us to be. His deceptive and distracting tactics are all around us. What do we give ear to? What do our eyes see and our minds take in? Without God’s word we can be easily manipulated by the enemies disruptive and distracting tactics. Our relationship with God and in many other areas of our lives can suffer without focusing on Him and His word. From church to our finances we discuss a wide range of topics that are reflective of our relationship with God, with man and yes, even what we think are our possessions. Are we serving or volunteering? Is our heart posture a position of submission? Our church family is so vital to our spiritual growth and it can be a source of relationships that can help keep us from ending up in the gutter. What part are you in the body and are you willing to surrender to Him and fulfill your purpose?

Pride stems from a fear of losing control, while surrendering means allowing Jesus to have the final say. Our relationship with the Father is having a seat at the King’s banqueting table, even amid chaos. Exposing the chaos to His light brings freedom. In this life we have a choice to be isolated or to recognize our need for the body of Christ. Make the choice with us to give thanks in everything as we fight this good fight of faith.

What does it mean to truly surrender to Holy Spirit? This is a question we have asked ourselves and desire to understand and apply everything that He shows us through His word. Surrendering is when we relinquish control of our thoughts, our plans, our agenda, our life and allow the one who created us, the one who’s ways are higher and better, to direct us in every way and in every area of our lives. When we choose to allow Holy Spirit into every decision and with His tender love and guidance for us, we can begin to operate in the power and authority we have through Him. We are His children but He doesn’t want us to remain as children. Maturing is in the surrendering, there is no other way, so get out of His way and let Him truly be the Lord of your life today.

Accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior is the beginning of our redemptive walk in righteousness and from Glory to Glory. Of ourselves we can accomplish nothing for the kingdom of God. Only through a relationship built on the foundation of Jesus, by the renewing of our minds through His word and complete surrender to Holy Spirit can we tap into and put to work the fullness of the power and authority that is ours through Holy Spirit. Our faith isn’t enough, "even the demons believe and tremble" James 2:19. It is our works of faith that will endure the fire of judgement in heaven. Yes we will be saved if we believe in and confess Jesus and this is our hope however, He desires us to do greater things because of our belief. "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father." John 14:12

Following the airstrikes on the nuclear facilities in Iran Marlo received an impactful word from the Lord. This led to this week’s episode regarding how our prayers, corporately and individually, make a massive impact on the enemies plans. 2 Corinthians 10:3-6 NKJV - For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

In this Episode and through a message revealed to Marlo during her time with the Lord, she shares a revelation of a broken part she hadn't surrendered to Jesus. Isn't it funny how the Lord would show Marlo, after the evening of my testimonial message, how that broken part, "sabotage," has in her soul protected her? We no longer need such idols of protection that the Lord revealed to Marlo as "polytheism." When we surrender our brokenness and our desire to control, or our fear of being out of control, to Lord Jesus, we can rest in Him for our protection—still overcoming this battle by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony, that Jesus must be the only one on the throne of our lives.

We serve a good Father and He is so kind to reveal to us when we have grown in an area we once struggled in. Not that I’ve conquered it in any way but was blessed to receive great encouragement from our loving Father just before recording this week’s Episode. So this is Part 2 on Disappointment and how if we give place to that lie from the enemy it can and will bring division. So, surrender your disappointments to the feet of Jesus, and as you offer your body as a living sacrifice, He will transform them into joy.

Welcome back for another episode as Marlo and I discuss disappointment. We have all experienced times of disappointment and today we want to offer encouragement and guidance on how to walk through them rather then be crushed by them. It has been a great week of blessings, I had a sweet surprise while enjoying time with my grandchildren who were in town from NC and stayed with me overnight. I share that surprise in this episode. Marlo, as always, finds amazing scripture to tie in beautifully with the direction of what we end up sharing. Thank you Holy Spirit for always being with us guiding us in each episode. We pray this message gives you hope and equips you better to face those times when disappointments arise so you can move beyond them victorious.

Wow what an amazing week for us both. Last week was graduation for myself and many of my brother's and sisters from the New Hope School of Ministries. Also enjoyed a graduation banquet the following evening to celebrate everyone's devotion to the study of God's word, applying it in our daily lives and imparting His love to others. We blessed all our teachers (Marlo being one of them🥰) on the campus of the church and event center with a bench and plaque to honor and thank them and the faculty for their gift of knowledge and revelation they shared with us over the school year. Today we share the importance of walking in unity of Spirit and love one for another. The calling on our lives to die to the flesh and walk in the Spirit as evidenced by the fruits of the Spirit. It is with great pleasure to be able to share with you all, our 4th Podcast. This will be Part #2 of Offenses and Forgiveness. We may have Part #3 by end of this week. This is a subject matter that affects us all and we pray that our personal experiences bring you hope and a true desire to choose the path of forgiveness. True freedom comes when we choose to walk in love and are willing to release forgiveness to and for others and receive it for ourselves. We so very much appreciate all the encouraging comments. We are honored and humbled to share our lives with each of you. We give God all the Glory for his great love and faithfulness given us through His son Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Thankfully we have our third podcast ready and posted for viewing. We added a short song this week and are so excited to share it along with our talk this week on "Offenses and Forgiveness". We will experience offenses in this life but we don't have to allow them to rule our thoughts or our behavior towards others. There is a choice to be made, be bound by the offense or be freed through forgiveness. Finally done editing this week's podcast. So sorry for the delay in posting this week. Between a short illness, mother's day and many hours of new learning I finally squeezed time in today and Praise God it is now finished. This journey has already been quite an amazing time of learning how to edit a video and add subtitles.😜 Next up is to add music, and more. This week Marlo and I share how important it is to live in the present, not the past, and to guard and control our thoughts and our tongues. Deception and distractions are everywhere and designed to keep us from following God's plan for our lives. How we navigate these distractions is by renewing our minds through His word. We pray you enjoy this time with us as we share from scripture historical events that have spoken into our lives and continue to speak life lessons for us today. Here is the first episode of our very inexperienced edition of the Podcast we have been called to do. Beginning, is sometimes the hardest thing to do but begin we did this afternoon. Fire was set to our Spirits this morning through a prophetic word at an Aglow meeting and we pray that we can be the match that sets fire to all who desire to watch and listen to us share stories of our lives and how our love for one another, our Faith in God and His son Jesus our savior and with the guidance of Holy Spirit in and through the scriptures to have experienced victory through life's many struggles. Life and its business stalled the process slightly but in all things God will get the glory. We don't have professional microphones or cameras or an editing crew but believe in time those things will come when and if necessary and in the proper timing. We haven't even chosen a title for our podcast yet, but knew we had to begin today. We pray you are encouraged, strengthened and moved to follow us through this exciting, hope filled and victorious experience. We look forward to your comments and questions and will be posting this coming week when and where our next episode will be ready.
