RUN - Refuse Unnecessary Noise
by Maggie Jenkins
This is a podcast inspired by the idea that growth begins when we stop listening to everything that tells us we can’t. Whether that noise shows up as self-doubt, comparison, outside expectations, or fear, this space is about learning to quiet it. Here, we focus on mindset, self-belief, and the courage to keep going — even when it feels uncomfortable or impossible.

The Truth About Self-Love (And Why You Struggle With It)
Why is it so easy to show up for others-but so hard to give ourselves the same love, patience, and consistency? In this episode we will unpack the deeper reason behind that disconnect and explore how many of us were conditioned to tie love to performance, outcomes, and "getting it right."We will talk about how to speak to yourself, and start treating yourself with the same compassion that you so freely give to others. If you struggle with self-worth, overthinking, or feeling like you are not doing enough, this episode may resonate with you.

You Don't Have a Capability Problem, You Have a Willingness Problem
It's not that you can't - it's that you are not willing. In this episode, we will explore how identity shapes behavior, why comparison is holding you back, and the mindset shift that changes what you believe is possible. So many of us get caught up comparing our timeline to others, when we should be focusing on walking our own path. Our brain reinforces our beliefs, so it's very important that we build awareness around our internal dialogue. My hope is that this episode will empower you to stop saying "I can't" and start asking, "am I willing to?"

The GPS Tool: Get Out of Your Head and Into Your Life
In this episode, I'm sharing a simple but powerful tool that has completely changed how I show up in my life - mentally, physically, and emotionally. It's called the GPS tool: Gratitude, Presence, and Showtime. I pulled it directly from one of my favorite books, Inner Excellence by Jim Murphy. This daily practice helps you slow down, reconnect to the moment you're actually in, and intentionally visualize the life you're working toward. I'll walk you through how each part works, why it matters, and how you can start using it immediately. At the end of this episode, I will take you through the 10-minute guided practice in real time.

Stop Feeding Your Ego, Start Collecting Data
The faster you learn to treat everything in your life as information instead of judgement, the faster you grow. Here in Episode 5 we talk about the mindset shift away from your ego, and towards neutral thinking. In life, you either win, or you learn. And while the wins happen every now and then, we spend 99% of our time learning. When we can view things from a more neutral lens, and stop assigning negative emotion to experiences, we are able to think less from our ego. We are simply collecting data, learning, and continuing to move forward.

The Comfortable Trap of the Victim Mentality
There is a difference between being in pain, and building an identity around that pain. This is an uncomfortable but necessary conversation we all need to have within ourselves. Have you ever found yourself asking..."Why is this happening to me?""I can't because of my circumstances.""I am never enough."What if some of the things holding you back aren't your circumstances, but the way you are viewing them? Here in Episode 4, we address the victim mentality. How it can show up in our everyday life, how we can identify it, and what we can do to shift away from it. Because the moment you stop asking "why me?" and start asking "what can I do from here?" is the moment you empower yourself to change for the better.

The Power of Knowing Your Intention
Most of us are not living for our values. We are living for our perception. But what if you could stop caring about what others think? What if you could stop judging yourself? What if you could stop being afraid to have those hard conversations? What if you could remove the fear and anxiety from your life? All you have to do is ask yourself this question-"what is my intention?" When you navigate life through this lens, all of the above is no longer. You can stop being paralyzed by the negativity in your mind, and start truly living your life. You can go after the things you really want without worrying about the outcome. Here in Episode 3, we will dive into this mindset and discuss how you can harness the power of knowing your intention to become the best version of yourself.

The Endurance Mindset
What if endurance is less about being "tough" and more about making a decision? In this episode, I share the mindset that changed everything for me. It started with training for my first marathon, but now it shapes how I show up as a parent, a wife, in my business, and in hard seasons of life. We will talk about things like:-Why endurance is a choice-How to build real self-belief through action-The importance of creating proof that you can do hard things-Why speed DOES NOT MATTER-but rather consistency does-And the powerful reminder: "you are the boat"If you feel like you are failing, stuck, or questioning yourself, this episode is your reminder that as long as you keep going, you are still "in it." What is one decision you can make today to keep going-regardless of how it feels?

What Year 31 Taught Me
Today I turn 32, so I wanted to reflect on the lessons that shaped me in year 31.This past year was about removing fear and having faith in my strength and ability. It was about embracing discomfort and knowing that I would come out on the other side as a better version of myself. It was the year I learned two things can be true at the same time-you can be grateful and overwhelmed, confident and uncertain, growing and uncomfortable. Year 31 taught me that consistency matters more than intensity. That real self-growth often looks quiet. And that becoming isn't about reinventing yourself overnight-it's about the small, intentional decisions repeated over time.If you are in a season of evolving, stepping into something new, or facing challenges head on, this episode is for you.Welcome to Episode 1-and THANK YOU SO MUCH for being here!
