In today's message we have an opening from Bro.Jay. He shares with us the promise of ask and receive. Then we look at those who should be saved. God has given the answer for all the struggles in the world. Jesus is the answer. He has done all that needs be done for our salvation. By the grace of God we are saved. We have been given the gospel to know and understand that salvation. We should be saved. Are we?

We are saved by the power of His grace and love. Still scripture teaches there are those who believe and those who deny. What role does that play in our life and salvation?

In today's sermon we look at the Apostle's charge to learn to be at peace. Paul tells us to study to be quiet and do our own work. That doesn't mean we should be silent in our daily walk. In today's sermon we look at Paul's charge to the church in Thessalonians. He spent 3 chapters bragging on thier faith and work. Yet he opens the 4th chapter with furthermore. Our walk and growth in Christ is never finished. We are called on and even commanded to be differnt. We have been sanctified and should live up to it.

In today's sermon we look at the drive behind the spread of the gospel. In the beginning of the church it spread like wild fire. This came by God's blessings and men's drive to spread the truth of the gospel. The heart behind it is shared here by Paul. This drive and heart must be behind our efforts today as well. In today's sermon we look at the opening chapter of 1 Thessalonnians. Paul is opening this epistle with glowing thankfulness of a church that heard and acted upon the sound of the gospel. In today's sermon we close out our study on the prophecies of Jesus. Will we be like the Isrealites that heard the prophecies of Jesus coming and doubted? The same God that promised the coming Messiah, has promised His return.

In today's sermon we continued to look at the promises kept in the life of Jesus. God promised the Messiah would come. God promised He would bear our sorrows, and iniquities. God promised that by His stripes we would be healed. We know that He did come. Why and for who did He come?

God had foretold of a coming savior from the very beginning. God promises a savior brought a surety that has touched us all. God bless you all in your studies.

In today's sermon we look at who we are chargable to. Paul has spent the entirety of this epistle charging us to grow and stand fro truth. In the closing of this book he tells us who we are chargable to. We need to grow and stand not because of church name, tradition, or pride. We need to do so to honor our God and our Savior! In today's sermon we look at Paul's charge to Timothy and the church to be content. Ill contentment is at the root of all our problems. We must learn to be content. Yet we are not to become complacent. There are things we should not seek, and things we should. God bless you in your studies.

Today we look at the church's role in charity. There are many needful people in this world. Jesus tells us they will always exist. Who is suposed to help all of these people? There are many that we as individuals should help. Then there are those the church should focus thier help on.

In today's sermon we are encouraged both to not despise the youth, and as the youth give no reason to be despised. Both of these statements are true and needful. God intends for us to grow up in the church, and expects us to encourage those who are growing up in the church.

Today we continue our fundamental studies. Looking today at the truth of who salvation was for and who did God give it to. Today's Christianity tries to tell us that salvation is offered to the world and it is up to us to finish the work. Scripture tells us otherwise.

This week we took a break from our fundamental study. We start with an opening from Brother Nick Scott. He shares with us the story of amazing faith of Peter walking with Christ on the water. Then we look at the memorial and purpose of communion service and foot washing. This was all a picture of the work of Christ and intended to remind us of Him and His sacrifice. This week we look at why do we need a savior. With so much of today telling us we need a savior, but then telling us of a helper I want us to see the differnce. The fundamental truth of total depravity tells us we need much more than an invitation to get us saved.

This morning we continue to look at how God speaks to us. God has always called men to speak to His people. He has also always used men to record His word in writing. We look at how Peter and other apostles tell us how preaching and Scripture go hand in hand. God bless and enjoy your study.

Today we continue looking into some basic fundamentals. God has always chosen men to speak to in a direct way. He does so, so that they may go and tell everyone elsewhat they need to know. As we close out our study on the book of Galatians we are faced with two last points. Last weak we looked at the beginning of the first point.
