The Word of God tells us that our words hold the power of life and death. How we choose to use them, matters greatly. Are you going to glorify the Lord or grieve His heart? Choose wisely.

In this episode, we talk about our journey from being unequally yoked, to becoming a couple fully on fire for the Lord. What happens when one spouse is pursuing God and the other isn’t? How do you love faithfully and pray fervently for your spouse? And what does it look like when God transforms not just a heart, but your whole marriage?We talk honestly about the seasons we have been in, choosing to honor and love when it wasn’t always easy, surrendering control to the Lord, and trusting God to do the refining work only He can do. This is the kind of holy love that refuses to give up.If you’re in an unbalanced marriage, feeling alone in your faith, maybe you’re single and still searching, or praying for your spouse’s heart to be stirred, this episode is for you. God is still in the business of reviving hearts… and sometimes it’s in our very own home.

The Bible talks about our sinful nature as humans and how we can combat it. Surrender to Jesus truly does transform us from the inside out and it will be evident in the fruits of the spirit that we bear. Are you a tree that bears good fruit? Or a tree that is bare? Do you have Peace in the midst of the storm? Joy that is not conditional? Self control when temptation arises? We challenge each of you to really dive deeper into each of these characteristics that will help us to be more Christlike. Episode 6 is a special one. Walking by Faith and trusting in the Lord is important. Seeking him fervently in prayer is crucial, too! In this episode, we go a bit deeper into how that looks and how stories in the Bible gave us countless examples of what unshaken Faith looks like and how God can show up mightily when we seek him diligently. In this episode, we dive into 2 Corinthians 10:5 and what it truly means to take our thoughts captive. Travis and Laynee spend time sharing their own struggles that they have personally faced, BUT what the Word of God says to help us fight the thoughts that don’t belong!
