She Knows Why

Acts 9:3-6 takes us to Saul's encounter with Jesus that changed his life forever. We can all learn from this type of surrender. Yes, LORD!

James 3:5-10 reminds us of the dangers of the tongue. ...for we have a moral obligation to speak in a manner that reflects our fear of God and profound respect for His precepts (James 3:10 NIV).

Mark 11:23-24 23 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. 24 For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you.

Let's listen to how we can ask the God of Heaven to meet us exactly where we are. Ps. 91:15 He will call on me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.

I John 4:16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.

This is a word of encouragement to align your heart and actions with the will of God. We are the light of the world, but if we are dim or darkening we can't lead anyone. Matthew 5: 13-15; 20

Getting what you need from God

Ephesians 2:2 and James 4:7

When you have no more space to suppress your troubles. When God is inviting you to the next level of deliverance, freedom, and healing in your life. When what has whipped you NOW has to SUBMIT to you because of Jesus Christ. It is TIME to CONFRONT IT!

The name of Jesus Christ, the blood, HIS authority and unconditional love is undeniable. Ephesians 1:7 (paraphrased) In Him we have redemption through His blood, which paid the penalty for our sin and resulted in the forgiveness and complete pardon of our sin.

When you God gives a word to you there are times when you have to release it right where you are. Obedience! Your obedience is often connected to blessing someone else. Proverbs 11:25 The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.

I wanted to share a Spoken Word inspired by Ephesians 2:8-10 8 For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; 9 not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation]. 10 For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].

Matthew 9:10-13 10 Then as Jesus was reclining at the table in Matthew’s house, many tax collectors and sinners [including non-observant Jews] came and ate with Him and His disciples. 11 When the Pharisees saw this, they asked His disciples, “Why does your Master eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 12 But when Jesus heard this, He said, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but [only] those who are sick. 13 Go and learn what this[Scripture] means: ‘I desire compassion [for those in distress], and not [animal] sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call [to repentance] the [self-proclaimed] righteous [who see no need to change], but sinners[those who recognize their sin and actively seek forgiveness].”

Romans 3;38-3938 For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Exodus 32:1-10 shows us how people turn their backs on God and make plans for themselves. An idol is anything you put before God and treat it as if it is God. Listen to how we can apply this chapter to our daily living.

Exodus 18 shares who gave Moses wise counsel and why he needed it. Moses was blessed to have someone tell him how to preserve his strength for the great assignment he was given.

Behaviors can be positive or negative overlapping generationally. When you run into family problems there might be a family feud. In Genesis chapters 27-36 we see some family problems surface. The generational behaviors of Rebekah, Jacob and Laban reveals how God changes a messy situation into working things out for Jacob's good.

1 Now there was a Pharisee, a man named Nicodemus who was a member of the Jewish ruling council. 2 He came to Jesus at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him.” 3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” 4 “How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!” 5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. 6 Flesh gives birth birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. JOHN 3:1-6

Matthew 16:24-26 AMP 24 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wishes to follow Me [as My disciple], he must deny himself [set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross [expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me [believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. 25 For whoever wishes to save his life [in this world] will [eventually] lose it [through death], but whoever loses his life [in this world] for My sake will find it[that is, life with Me for all eternity]. 26 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world [wealth, fame, success], but forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?
