Look Up - Above and not below Part 1 -Retief Uys
View sermon notes here.“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians 3:2In this sermon, Retief shares the vision for 2026 and a powerful, heavenly vantage point with us.Life can easily pull our focus downward—toward worries, distractions, and temporary things. But God calls us to look up! In this powerful message, we are reminded that our identity and hope are anchored in Christ, not in the shifting sands of this world. When we fix our hearts and minds on Him, everything else comes into perspective.Let this word encourage you to live with heavenly vision and walk in the fullness of life in Christ.

Living from Intimacy - Retief Uys
View sermon notes here.As we step into 2026, we’re reminded that intimacy with God is our life source. It’s not about doing more, but about knowing Him deeply and sharing life with Him.Jesus said:“Now this is eternal life: that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” John 17:3Like Mary, choose the “one thing that is needed” – sitting at His feet, hearing His Word, and living from a place of closeness rather than busyness.Invite Him into every part of your lifeGive Him the first & best of your daySpend time in His Word and prayerLet 2026 be the year we live from intimacy, not distraction.

Our Redeemer Lives - Retief Uys
View sermon notes here. Our Redeemer Lives! This week, Retief Uys reminded us that Jesus not only saves—He redeems! He restores what’s broken, brings freedom from bondage, and gives beauty for ashes.“In Him we have redemption through His blood.” (Ephesians 1:7)As a congregation, we are called to be a Bethesda, a "House of Flowing Waters" in our area. Do you still believe? Are you willing to let go and let Him restore so we can be a wellspring of life and healing to others?

Doorkeepers for the King and His Kingdom - Retief Uys
View sermon notes here.“For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” – Psalm 84:10This week we are reminded that greatness in the Kingdom is not about position, but about service. A doorkeeper opens the way for others, guards the holy place, and ushers in the presence of God.Wherever we choose to obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit, we open the door to the gospel and the Kingdom of God, we are doorkeepers that usher in God's will and ways. Let us rise as faithful doorkeepers—humble, watchful, and ready to open the door for the King and His Kingdom.

Identity - Sikho Mbedzi
View sermon notes here. This Sunday, Sikho Mbedzi reminded us of a powerful truth: our identity is not defined by the world, but by Christ. We are no longer slaves to sin or fear. Through Jesus, we have been adopted as sons and daughters of God. But it doesn’t stop there—God calls us to grow and mature into heirs, co-rulers with Christ, carrying His authority to bring light and transformation into the world around us. To be an heir means more than belonging—it means stepping into responsibility, reigning with Him, and living out the fullness of His promises. As Sikho shared, we must grow up into this truth, shedding the old identity and embracing the new one given to us in Christ. “So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.” (Galatians 4:7)Let’s rise into our calling, walk boldly in our inheritance, and impact our communities with the love and power of Jesus.

Effective Prayers - Hein Hofstra
View sermon notes here.As children of God, we have to know who were are and that we have the free gift of righteousness IN JESUS if we are to walk in the authority God has for us! “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21Through Christ, we have received the free gift of righteousness. We are called to put on the new man (Ephesians 4:24), and from our seat in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), we share in His authority. Prayer is not passive — it is ruling with Christ in the spirit, shifting atmospheres, and declaring His kingdom in our bodies, our families, our workplaces and our communities!

Love First - Retief Uys
View sermon notes here.We can only truly love others well when we’ve received God’s love first. It is a love that cannot be earned or achieved, only received.“We love because He first loved us.” – 1 John 4:19Let’s stop striving for this kind of love and open our hearts to fully perceive and receive it. Rooted in His love and filled by His Spirit, we are strengthened by His presence and able to love well.

Finding wholeness in Substance - Petri Voges
View sermon notes here. She reached for the symbol—the fringe of His garment, the reminder of God’s Word. But what she found was the living Word Himself. In one sacred moment, Jesus reversed her uncleanness, restored her identity, and called her “Daughter" and gave her Shalom peace. This wasn’t just healing. It was sozo—a complete restoration of body, soul, and spirit. In a world full of systems that can regulate but never truly restore, Jesus stands as the living reality of God’s presence. He doesn’t just fix what’s broken—He makes us whole.Wholeness isn’t found in ritual, but in relationship. Not in symbols, but in Substance.

Imago Dei The Comfort and the call - Melissa Le Roux
View sermon notes here.On Sunday, Melissa le Roux invited us to ascend the mountain of His Presence in total surrender. Like Moses on Sinai, we are called to meet God in His greatness and glory. Not just once, but daily. In every challenge and in every valley, we are being shaped into the likeness of Jesus - the One who remains... "The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.” Exodus 34:6This is our comfort AND our call.To be set apart. To reflect Him.To look more like LOVE in a world that desperately needs it.

Beautiful and Faithful Feet - Retief Uys
View sermon notes here."Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”Matthew 9:38The harvest is plentiful—but the workers are few. In this message, Retief reminds us that the Father doesn’t just call us - He also equips us. God yearns for His children to come Home 🙏🏼 May we desire what He desires!Through grace, He stirs our hearts, reshapes our desires, and sends us out with feet made beautiful by obedience and faith. When we say yes to the harvest, we walk not in our own strength, but in the power of the One who makes us willing and able.Let your feet be faithful. Let your steps be beautiful. The field is ready.

It is Time - Nick Roche
View sermon notes here. The fig tree is budding and the season is shifting. As a congregation we believe God is anointing us to know the seasons and do what God requires of us. Jesus said in Matthew 24: "when you see it, know the time is near."This is not the hour to warm pews. It’s the hour to arise, go, and fulfill the Great Commission.Souls are waiting and the harvest is ready.

Witnesses of the King and His Kingdom - Retief Uys
Only God saves! Hallelujah. We however have a responsibility - we are called to be God’s witnesses in a dark world. We are called to share, testify and live out the Light of the World, Jesus Christ. What an honour. Why is it important to have a testimony, carry a strong witness? Have a listen. May we live lives that clearly states: GOD IS REAL Join Saturday’s Outreach, 10:00-12:00 with Hein and the team. View sermon notes here.

The Favour of God - Part 6 - Favour through despair - Petri Voges
Can God use our afflictions and trials to give us favour and show us His grace? Definitely, as Petri pointed out yesterday in his powerful message, at the hand of the Word. He reminded us that tough seasons often exposes the false things in which we trust, but even better so, it reminds us then and draws us back to, the only One Who is truly able. GOD!What can we do in the tough testing time to be sure to see His favour? Let’s get honest with Him! And…Romans 12:12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.View sermon notes here.

Chosen, Holy & Dearly Loved - DB Hauptfleisch
"Tell Me About Yourself” – DB HauptfleischLast night, DB reminded us of tender call to identity, transformation, and truth. What do we think of ourselves? He reminded us that our truest self isn’t found in titles or achievements, but in the quiet work of God's grace within. We need to live from a place of our true identity, knowing that it is God doing amazing things in and through us. “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12May we meditate on the truth that we are CHOSEN, HOLY and DEARLY LOVED! The Favour of God - Part 5 - Retief Uys
You, LORD, bless the righteous; You surround him with favour like a shield.— Psalm 5:12God’s favour isn’t just kindness — it’s a shield. A divine covering that guards the righteous from harm, deception, and despair. David’s cry in Psalm 5 reminds us: God hears us at daybreak, leads us in righteousness, and shelters those who trust Him.His favour surrounds you — not just in battle, but in the quiet, unseen places.Trust God. He is your refuge. He is your shield.View sermon notes here.

The Favour of God - Part 4 - Retief Uys
Why do some people seem to walk in more favour than others? If God shows no favoritism, what makes the difference? In this week’s message, we explore the posture of the heart—how jealousy and bitterness can quietly rob us of the very favour we long for. Through the stories of Cain and Abel, and the prodigal son, we’re reminded that God’s favour flows freely… but our response matters.💬 May we be a people who walk in the fruit of the Spirit, celebrating the victories and blessings our Father bestows on others.Let’s fix our eyes on Christ—the only One we measure our lives to—and walk confidently as sons and daughters of a generous Father.View sermon notes here.

King Priest - Sikho Mbedzi
Last night, Sikho reminded us of a powerful truth: We are a royal priesthood, chosen and set apart to rule and reign with Christ in heavenly places (1 Peter 2:9, Ephesians 2:6). This isn’t just a title—it’s a divine calling. Our priesthood and our position in Jesus are inseparable from the authority God gives us as His sons and daughters. We are not merely observers in the kingdom—we are participants, ambassadors, and co-laborers with Christ. Are you willing to take up the mandate of priesthood and kingship and bring effectual change to the world around you? This is a call to rise.To intercede. To lead with compassion. To speak truth. To bring heaven to earth.Let's take up our calling, knowing that we are empowered by the Spirit to make a difference—in our homes, our communities, and beyond.View sermon notes here.

A response to undeserved favour - Juan Kidd
Last night Juan Kidd shared the message at the hand of a few very powerful testimonies. We were reminded what our response should be to the unmerited favour of God.We have to share HIM with the world. We live in the days before Christ's return and we have this glorious opportunity to share the Gospel with everyone.View sermon notes here.

The Favour of God - Part 3 - Retief Uys
"_Charis_" is the same ancient Greek word for grace and favour. It actually means “to give freely” or “to bestow a gift”.We know that all spiritual gifts are grace gifts that the Trinity bestows on us as God's children, for the Body of Christ. As with many examples from the Word, God favours us with these various gifts so that we can express the nature of the Trinity to one another, and so that we can mature into the fullness of Christ to do the work of the ministry wherever we go. Can you identify the flow of favour or the grace gift on your life? Are you willing to be a living sacrifice and a conduit for the work of the kingdom in your local church View sermon notes here.
