A doorkeeper opens the way for others, guards the holy place, and ushers in the presence of God.Wherever we choose to obey the prompting of the Holy Spirit, we open the door to the gospel and the Kingdom of God, we are doorkeepers that usher in God's will and ways. Let us rise as faithful doorkeepers—humble, watchful, and ready to open the door for the King and His Kingdom.

Through Jesus, we have been adopted as sons and daughters of God. But it doesn’t stop there—God calls us to grow and mature into heirs, co-rulers with Christ, carrying His authority to bring light and transformation into the world around us. To be an heir means more than belonging—it means stepping into responsibility, reigning with Him, and living out the fullness of His promises. As Sikho shared, we must grow up into this truth, shedding the old identity and embracing the new one given to us in Christ. “So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.” (Galatians 4:7)Let’s rise into our calling, walk boldly in our inheritance, and impact our communities with the love and power of Jesus.

⁠⁠⁠View sermon notes here.⁠⁠⁠As children of God, we have to know who were are and that we have the free gift of righteousness IN JESUS if we are to walk in the authority God has for us! “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” 2 Corinthians 5:21Through Christ, we have received the free gift of righteousness. We are called to put on the new man (Ephesians 4:24), and from our seat in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6), we share in His authority. Prayer is not passive — it is ruling with Christ in the spirit, shifting atmospheres, and declaring His kingdom in our bodies, our families, our workplaces and our communities!

Rooted in His love and filled by His Spirit, we are strengthened by His presence and able to love well.

Can God use our afflictions and trials to give us favour and show us His grace? Definitely, as Petri pointed out yesterday in his powerful message, at the hand of the Word. He reminded us that tough seasons often exposes the false things in which we trust, but even better so, it reminds us then and draws us back to, the only One Who is truly able. He reminded us that our truest self isn’t found in titles or achievements, but in the quiet work of God's grace within. "_Charis_" is the same ancient Greek word for grace and favour. It actually means “to give freely” or “to bestow a gift”.We know that all spiritual gifts are grace gifts that the Trinity bestows on us as God's children, for the Body of Christ. As with many examples from the Word, God favours us with these various gifts so that we can express the nature of the Trinity to one another, and so that we can mature into the fullness of Christ to do the work of the ministry wherever we go.
