The Center for the Study of the Self is a study group based on the tradition of the Fourth Way, with its own unique emphases. The group works with the principles that Gurdjieff introduced to the West, while also following the methods of his senior students, with particular emphasis on Rodney Collin and Ouspensky.The Center has groups in New York and Los Angeles and Tel Aviv and is led by a direct student of Alex Horn.Our method of study is pragmatic and direct. Students are introduced to well-established methods that enable precise self-observation. Through this observation, self-knowledge can develop, and from it, a foundation for change.The Center aspires to establish a small core group that is serious and deeply committed.
