How to Stop Fear
When fear comes into your mind, what do you do? Do you trust in God’s Word or do you dwell on those thoughts? Fear can paralyze and kill us; it steals our joy, peace and power. It separates us from our God and isolates us. It’s a tactic of the enemy to destroy us. God wants us to live full and free lives. He wants us to experience the fullness of His love and power to save. His Word is alive and powerful, Hebrews 4:12 and it can help you to overcome fear. In this episode I:Define fear and show where fear originated in our existence as humans.Genesis 3:8-10Discuss some of the ways it shows up in our livesProcrastinationExcusesFeelings of unfitnessPhysical ailmentsGive you simple steps to deal with it effectivelyBe proactive by seeking out, memorizing and making a note of the texts against fear.Identify what you are dealing with.Address it. Don’t ignore nor bury it. Rebuke it in the name of Jesus.Praise and thank God for what He has already done for you that you WILL see.Demonstrate how to pray God’s Word to overcome fearSome of the Scriptures you can pray over different fears.Helplessness - “So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”' Hebrews 13:6Failure - “Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.” Psalm 1:1-3Family separating (divorce, children leaving) - “‘I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.’” John 17:20-21Lack - “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9:8Dying - “I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the Lord. The Lord has chastened me severely, But He has not given me over to death.” Psalm 118:17-18Pray for you to overcome fear and be full of faithMay God bless and keep you as you depend on Him to fill you with faith and take away your fears. May He use you for His honour and glory.

God Saved My Life Part 2
There are times when things happen and you don't understand. You don't understand the purpose nor the situation. It's in these times, more than ever, God wants us to trust Him wholeheartedly. In this episode I talked about the events that followed the near-death experience I had during childbirth. Only God knows why my son ended up in the hospital. The first night there, as the staff twisted his spine to get fluid, I tryed to make sure I saw everything. As I kept changing my position to see what was happening, I heard God say, “Del, you can't see everything. Why don't you trust the One who knows everything?” So I relaxed and remained calm the rest of the baby's stay at the hospital. You may be in a situation and not understand. You may be trying to figure out how to get out of the predicament. Instead of trying to figure things out, and solve the problem, “Why don't you trust the One who knows everything?” He knew about the situation before it came to be. He also has many solutions. If you allow Him, He will take care of you and bring you through successfully.May God help you to trust Him in all circumstances.

God Saved My Life Part 1
January 13th, 2023 is a day that changed my life forever. Since that day I have viewed God in a new way because I experienced His power to save. I went into labour with my third child in a home birth. Throughout that day, I felt well and strong, but by the time the midwife came to begin the delivery, I was as good as dead. I sensed that I needed supernatural help and so I prayed continually. At the beginning of the process, my husband played after insisting that I choose a song, “In Jesus Name (God of Possible)” by Don Moen. I do not remember most of what followed.I do remember hearing a voice in my head twice that said, “Why don’t you give up?” The first time I thought a c-section could solve the problem. This option wasn't available as per the midwife and so I had to continue to trust my Jehovah. Little did I realize that God was bringing glory to His name by my experience while putting the enemy and his legions to shame. The second time I heard the voice, I realized the profound impact of me agreeing with the voice and giving up. So instead, I fought harder and prayed stronger. God brought us through. My little miracle was born on Friday January 13th. Three verses that God kept in my mind and that I continually prayed were, Isaiah 41:10, “‘Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”; Isaiah 43:1, “But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine” and 2 Corinthians 12:9 - “And He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”I thank God continually for saving the life of my unborn child and me. He alone knew about the battle that was raging for our souls and He saved us from destruction. May you be blessed and encouraged by this episode.

Does God Speak to Us in Our Minds?
You are minding your business and you hear a voice in your mind. It's audible and you know that it only spoke to you. You think, maybe it's God or wait, maybe it's just my mind. How can you distinguish between the voice of God, your voice or that of the enemy? There is one simple test that would reveal the source of every message that comes to our hearts. The question you can ask is, is this word in line with the Word of God? Is the voice telling you something or instructing you in a way that aligns with the will of God? When you prayerfully seek God for clarity if the message is unclear, you can trust that He will answer you at the right time.In this week's episode, I speak of three times when I heard God speak to me audibly. The first instance He said, "You don't pray over your children enough." Later that afternoon one of my sons almost died. The next time, God spoke 2 Corinthians 6:1 4 to me. I didn't listen and experienced a lot of pain for many years as a result. The final encounter that I discuss happened sixteen days before my grandmother passed. God was preparing me for her death, but I did not recognize it at the time.If you keep hearing a voice, but are unsure of the source, seek God more. He will reveal the unknown to you. Jeremiah 33:3 says, "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’' God's Word is sure and you can trust it.

Is Your Dream From God?
Have you ever had a dream that was baffling? Does God speak to us through dreams? How can we know that it’s God? In this episode I discuss a confusing dream that I had. At the time of the dream I just could not understand its meaning or need. After I talked to God about it and He didn’t answer, I left it alone. Months later, when our family needed to make an important decision, after praying, God reminded me of the dream and that helped us make the right decision.Isaiah 42:16 says, “I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them.” Here God is saying to us, when you are unsure of the way you should go; when all the avenues that you knew of didn’t work and you don’t have any other options; when all you can see are impossibilities, I holy Jehovah, will reveal all that you need to know. I’ll make new paths in places that were once impassable. Whatever you need, I will supply it.Remember, whenever you need guidance, God will provide it if you seek Him. He has already made provision for all the perplexities that you will face. Keep trusting in Him. May God bless you this week.

Why Were You Created?
Do you know why you were created? Are you living your purpose? Knowing and living your purpose are very important for a healthy and fulfilling life. So how do you know what your purpose is? When you know your purpose, how do you accomplish it? Genesis 1:26 tells us that we were created in the image of God; therefore, we were created for God’s honour and glory. Isaiah 43:7 says, “Everyone who is called by My name, Whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.”' Verse 21 continues, “This people I have formed for Myself; They shall declare My praise.”If your purpose is to glorify God, how do you accomplish that in your daily life? How do you know what career to choose so that you can live your God-given purpose? Here are some actionable steps to assist you.Seek God’s guidance through prayer. How Prayer Impacts Faith
Before you pray, do you wonder, will this prayer be answered? What does it really mean to pray in faith without doubt? Regardless of how small your prayer is, God can answer it. Even when you pray big bold prayers as I like to call them, God can answer them. He is Jehovah and with Him all things are possible, Matthew 11:26. In this episode, I share how God taught me in a funny way, the importance of praying specific prayers. I also discuss the bold prayer God answered for the delivery of my sister’s first child; and how God answered the simple prayers of my son and rebuked my doubt through the answers. There is great power in prayer. We see this in the story of Elisha in 2 Kings 6. Author Ellen G White wrote, “If We Ask, God Will Answer—It is a part of God’s plan to grant us, in answer to the prayer of faith, that which He would not bestow did we not thus ask.” Prayer 47.3. There are prayers that God is waiting for us to pray and they will not be granted unless we pray. What's holding back your prayers? Is there anything stopping you from praying in faith?
