    Evan Barrett, a Colorado native from Aurora, explained his journey to becoming a 2nd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Currently the head coach at Fulcrum Jiu Jitsu, Evan has created such a welcoming environment for all skill levels at the gym. Focusing on how he felt during each step of his journey, Evan provided insight into the pressure of competition, enjoyment from teaching, the occasional burnout experienced, and what he views for his future.
