This is the anchor song on Spirit of Seven's 4th album, Revelation. My brother, Joey, was the lead horse in my family during his time on earth. He encouraged me to follow my dreams with the piano. This song is in honor of him and also some of his favorite chords.

December Wind
My family has had a Christmas tree business in the driveway next to my house for a half a century. This year is the 50th year it has been in a little corner of the Small Wonder State. It approaches like a storm in November and hits every year with a December wind. I am going to be returning this year for what my father is claiming to be "the final year" and "bell lap" for him. Moving back in with my parents for 7 weeks is depressing to think about but my mom has a baby grand so it will be my savior as the December wind hits my face at 7 A.M every morning. In two days I return home to begin the bell lap and this is the song that was in my head today when I went for a run. I recorded this as soon as I got to my house. Soaked from my run and almost feeling the bone chilling cold of the December wind.
