The Mystic Soul
As I said before, the soul is invisible, very subtle, cannot be seen by the eyes or even under a microscope. It is tinier than an atom. It is believed in Rajyog that a soul is as tiny as the tip of a needle but still has memories of several lifetimes stored in it. The soul has invincible features which never get destroyed because it is indestructible.A soul has no form but is often pictured star-like because a human mind cannot imagine anything formless. Hence to make it adaptable to the human mind this formless energy is often described as a point of light. But in the true sense it is just energy. A soul has no gender; it gets a gender when it inserts in a body. The soul can only be felt just like one can feel the air, warmth, heat, love etc. The soul has not been proven yet by science geeks so there are numerous theories related to its existence.

"Ego is NOT self worth"
Now, as I embark on my spiritual journey, I've encountered simplified definitions that are not only meaningful but also worth exploring. According to Rajyog spirituality, Ego is defined as "an attachment to a wrongful image of self," whether it be a superior or inferior image. This definition may sound straightforward, and I'll explain it further.“AN ATTACHMENT TO A WRONGFUL IMAGE OF SELF”(Superior or inferior)As simple as said. Not at all mind boggling if you are wondering how then here is my explanation.First bodyThen nameThen familyThen relationshipsThen achievementsPossessionsProperties and list goes on...

Psychology of Attachment
Attachment is very similar to greed but is often mistaken for love and care. It is defined as an emotional bond with a thing, a person or possession. Attachment in reality is like an obsession where the mind thinks the person, situation or the object is in my control. I possess that thing and try to hold it tight just like sand in my fist. Love and attachment seem pretty interconnected, but they are distinctly different. ... The major difference is that love is a feeling directed toward the “other” (person, place or thing), while attachment is a self-centered—meaning based on fulfilling your need. It is mainly an insecurity of the human mind. Where one wants to owe or possess the other thing or person but is constantly scared of losing it

Clutches of Greed!
In today's episode I will talk about greed. Greed is a very subtle vice and is hidden under many layers of our consciousness . Greed is hidden so well in our minds that its realization is hard to accept. So let's see what Greed is and how it is invisible to many of us. Greed can be defined as an intense and excessive craving for resources, particularly wealth-related assets like money, real estate, or other symbols of affluence. This impossible to never satisfy desire revolves around accumulating as much as possible, with no intention of spending or utilizing these resources. Greed is a potent negative emotion that tends to manifest later in a person's life, but its symptoms can often be observed during childhood.

The Evil Anger
What makes us angry? Studies say many things can trigger anger like stress, tension, anxiety, family problems, and financial issues, broken relationships, personality traits, or victim feelings. For some people, anger is caused by an underlying disorder, such as alcoholism or depression or any other psychosomatic diseases. In modern ages anger itself isn’t considered a disorder, but anger is a known symptom of several mental health conditions. What Spirituality taught me is that when I am not able to use my inner peace to hear out the other person rationally I get angry. I want to prove myself right and the other person wrong. I am weak and faraway from my original quality of peace. My anger is more dominant than my inner self and I let it win. The conflict is mainly that I am not able to make the other person understand what I want them to do, so I am mad/ furious. Very interestingly, the anger here is for my own self because I am not able to put across my point in the manner I want hence I shout at the others to understand me. This clash makes both sides irrational and ignites anger.

#Wicked Lust
Many religious texts, not just the Bible, warn against the harmful effects of lust, seeing it as a root cause of worldly problems. Giving in to lust is believed to lead to humanity's downfall and is seen as a sin against the divine. The Bible also cautions against sexual immorality, emphasizing that it affects the very core of our being. It reminds us that worldly temptations are not from a divine source but come from the material world. In some religious stories, like in Genesis, Adam and Eve lived harmoniously in paradise but were forbidden from eating fruit from the tree of knowledge in the Garden of Eden. Their disobedience led to their expulsion from paradise. The significance of this story is often left unquestioned.

Invisible Sins
Today I will talk about Invisible sins, a word which is seldom heard in everyday conversations. What are sins and how do they get embedded in human minds is still a mystery which is unresolved. I too was unaware of this word till I started learning Rajyog. A sin is a practice, behavior, or habit generally considered wrong in the associated society. In more minor usage, sin can refer to a fault, a negative character trait, a defect, an infirmity, or a bad or unhealthy habit. Sins are the acquired human characteristics but do these vices really weaken the inner power of our soul ? Or does it come in between and erase the beauty of our inner self leaving it shallow and ugly? What are these things which darkens the inner shine of self and blocks it's lighted road?

The most simple or the elemental way of starting to meditate is by visualizing the practice. Bring the picture of the object to your mind and then begin to connect with it. Practice with this simple exercise and see how easy it gets:Sit in a quiet place with yourself.Think about your favorite food.Bring the picture of the food to your mind.Visualize the color.Feel the texture.Touch to see the temperature of the food.Smell the food. Now put the food in your mouthLet all the flavors of the food fill your mouthYou may salivateEnjoy every bite of your favorite food...

Improve Through Meditation
Meditation is considered a tool to build internal energy, develop compassion, love, patience, generosity, and forgiveness. Meditation often involves an internal effort to self-regulate the mind in some way. In Rajyoga meditation the key component is knowing self and working on improving self. Without knowing who one is in real- the meditation is in vain. Once, this clarity is achieved that this meditation is done by my thoughts and not by my mouth or hands the practice gets easier. Meditation is a technique to dive in deep and find inner peace and emotionally get awareness of self. The foremost step is the knowledge of God. Meditation or Connecting to God.

Self Talk in Meditation
During meditation, why is it important to talk to oneself? The basic reason is to detach yourself from all the other thoughts occurring during that time and detaching yourself from the surroundings as well. People, events, situations, happenings and all the incidents that took place, are insignificant during meditation so declutter your mind from all such thoughts and focus on your own self. Then give your mind some elevated thoughts to churn upon. Thoughts like you are a child of the Supreme father who is the mightiest of all, you also have the same innate qualities as God has. You are a great soul.. and so on. These elevated thoughts get imprinted on the active subconscious mind while meditating, and the subconscious mind magically starts to turn them into reality.

How to Meditate
Our minds are excellent cameras! We all create varied images in our minds daily. Which is called visualization. Visualizing is to imagine or remember someone or something by forming a picture in your mind. Visualizations make big and small pictures easier for the human brain to grasp and understand, it also makes it easier to detect patterns, trends, and outliers of pictures. Its main goal is to distill larger concepts of meditation into small and doable gestures for easy understanding of complex concepts within the brain.Visualization is one of the best ways to get your mind back on track when you feel out of balance. Listening to slow music and visualizing your day helps to organize your thoughts, mentally prepare you, and reduce stress. Numerous studies have shown that mental practice through visualization can be as effective to improve skills as real practice. You can develop and reinforce real skills by visualizing yourself practicing them.

Connecting with God
Meditation is considered a tool to build internal energy, develop compassion, love, patience, generosity, and forgiveness. Meditation often involves an internal effort to self-regulate the mind in some way. In Raj yoga meditation the key component is knowing self and working on improving self. Without knowing who one is in real- the meditation is in vain. Once, this clarity is achieved that this meditation is done by my thoughts and not by my mouth or hands the practice gets easier. Acknowledging your own self as a soul is the hardest of a task because constantly reminding own- self that you are a soul becomes an ordeal. When at work or dealing with others, this consciousness completely dissolves with the role of the soul and this disconnect opens many doors for the ego to enter. While meditating one has to shut such doors and concentrate on oneself. Once this grand hurdle is crossed, connecting with God becomes like a child's play. In order to get into this soul conscious state , one has to re-enforce one's own self of being the purest form of this energy!

What is meditation?
Meditate comes from the Latin word ‘meditari’ which means to think, contemplate, or conceive. In our daily life we use the term meditation to a broad variety of practices that includes techniques designed to promote relaxation like breathing exercises, hand gestures, which are a practice of 'Hatt Yoga'. Which are based on physical postures and are useful to the body. The other major practice has been a component of numerous religious traditions and beliefs. For centuries it has been done sitting, singing, chanting mantras, counting prayer beads or some other rituals, in order to remind the practitioner about some aspects of meditation. All the outwardly physical efforts are coined as meditation, but in reality meditation means just to connect with your own self.

What is a Soul?
Hypothetically speaking- Suppose I leave this body this very minute, my body still exists but is without a life. I cannot function in a dead body. All my belongings like my body, my family, my job, my house are still here but I am not here to use them, so who is this- I ? who vanished away leaving me a dead body The answer would be the I- the soul or the spirit residing in this body. Indeed! I am a soul is not something any of us remember any time- right? Hardly any of us realize it in everyday life. We simply live by the days fulfilling needs and essential requirements of the body. We don't see this subtle energy which is in real our identity so we call ourselves a body and believe all of the possessions and relations we hold are due to this body. This wrongful image I carry all my life while living in this body. I work timelessly for all my belongings but never take them with me. Most of us know and understand that we slog in vain yet we do what we do lifelong. One main and most important detail- that I am a soul is the only thing I don't take care of,rest others I hold very tight, cling on to it and never let it go!

133
What is God's Role?
First of all God can only connect with us on a soul level. He does not have a body therefore he does not see human bodies. He is not there to fulfill our wishes, he doesn't punish us, he is not the creator of nature. Nature is eternal, he is not holding us to any of our wrongdoings, he is not even watching us, and most importantly he is not interfering in our lives at all. God is not a magician, he has no wand which he spins and magically things happen in our favor, he cannot change our fate because he does not write our destiny. The mightiest of the mighty HAS A VERY LIMITED ROLE! He can only direct us when we establish a relationship with him that too on a soul level. For which we have to have the knowledge of the soul, and its inner qualities and powers.

Never Fear God!
Before I begin today's revelation I would like to announce a disclaimer. My point is not at all to shake your trust, faith or belief in God. I am also not asking to stop praying or keeping you away from any religious practice. My intentions are very clear on revealing who God is from the point of view of rajyog. I would like to remind you again I am not asking anyone to change your beliefs, faiths, rituals, religious practices or religion. I only intend to share my spiritual knowledge of what I have learned over the years keeping an open mind and seeking logical explanation of it. I would request all my listeners to do the same...

God has a home?
In Bhagavad gita in the 4the chapter God says: I am coming, I am coming, when there is a loss of religion, then I am coming, when the iniquity increases, then I am coming to protect the gentlemen, to destroy the wicked I am coming in to establish religion and I am born in the age of era.In simplified form God very clearly states in Bhagavad, that “I come on earth on the day of judgment. When all religions have reached a point of saturation of wrong faith and doings, when there is total chaos in the human world. When human souls are totally exhausted from living in a mess they created. It is then when I leave my home and come to help you my children” and create a new peaceful world Now the question arises, coming from where? Why does he say I come from my home? If he is in temples, shrines, cathedrals, mosques then where is he coming from? Let us see what God says…

God is light-God is might...
Every religion on the planet has any form of light while performing the religious ritual. In Hinduism diyas are lit for any prayer or religious performance. In Islam the main sacred stone in Mecca, has fire lit in front which is called the 'noor' and has been lit for ever for many many years. In Christianity the candle is commonly used in worship both for decoration and ambiance, and as a symbol that represents the 'light of God'. Buddhism has candles and incense sticks lit every time for every ritual. Similarly the Jewish synagogues each have their eternal lamp. Pick any faith or religion, everywhere light carries a significant role. Mainly because all the religions believe light represents God. All the religious scriptures mention that too. In bhagavad gita God says that I am the highest of the high. I am never born nor do I die. I am absolute Knowledge, I am absolute purity, I am eternal light. I am Infinite. I am omnipotent. I am an energy in the form of light. A very subtle point of light. Now why just a point of light? God further explains that a point is infinite, has no dimensions, no measurements. Point is indestructible and so am I.

A simple Exercise to get Inner Peace
One question I am asked constantly is how to bring inner peace in life? I often answer by seeing the curiosity of the person because some are not serious about what they are asking . If I say spirituality is one aspect of understanding to bring in inner peace then the next obvious question is what is spirituality? Many of us connect this one word ‘spirituality’ with religion and start to practice one or more religious practices. The results we get are not satisfying and soon we leave the religious practice.

Raj yog and Subconscious Mind
The mind is the faculty of the soul when I, the soul, thinks it is called a mind. The mind is further divided into parts : conscious mind, subconscious mind or unconscious mind and the preconscious mind, The conscious mind is active when we are awake and alert, that is actively engaging in the present moment, including direct perception, thinking, and feeling. It facilitates our ability to think, make decisions, and process information. The conscious mind holds feelings, sensations, and perceptions. The function of the active mind is directing attention, perceiving events, and responding to our environment. So basically we use our conscious mind when we are fully active, awake and aware of our surroundings.

My Awakening...
Crossing the Rubicon river’ would have been easier for Caesar in comparison to the author of this podcast, who chose to change her life a complete180 degrees. Failing more often than succeeding week after week, for adopting a lifestyle contradicting her old ways of living. Not giving up but firmly holding on to the last thread of hope. A strong affirmation, a belief-when many successfully did it, so can she. Her stubbornness to learn kept her motivated. Gradually but steadily she molded herself into this new lifestyle and saw changes in her attitude, her words, her actions. Her overall behavior changed for betterment. Family, friends, acquaintances, even strangers, everyone saw this amazing new person and wondered how angelic one can become by improving oneself. How one can inculcate and become an embodiment of peace, happiness, and love…

Realizing Thoughts
Every person thinks through three main factors of manufacturing thoughts. The first one is Information. Whatever one sees, reads or hears becomes the source of information and gets trapped in the memory. Memory is the second factor, when any similar situation arrives the previous 2 factors- information and memory get triggered by the Stimulus and a Thought is created. The original thoughts behind our thoughts are also generated in our subconscious mind, and are often erased by our hectic schedule. However, they are retained in our memory, and often come in the form of dreams.Thoughts send vibrations in the environment because thoughts are high energy. That energy is reflected back. When we think, a Karma is created, when its results come back it is destiny. This pattern is cyclic. Thoughts shape our personalities. Thoughts not only impact one lifetime but are carried into many births. Thoughts have a tremendous power on our souls.

Summary of Effect of Thoughts
I shared with you how some vital organs of our body crave for some innate qualities of our souls. For instance, the brain craves for knowledge, lungs crave for peace, heart craves for love, five senses crave for purity, stomach for contentment, and kidney, liver for selflessness.Because psychosomatic disorders are related to mind and mind is a faculty of the soul. Therefore there are some simple lifestyle changes one can implement to decrease stress, tension, anxiety and depression and also quell symptoms. The main idea generated is to calm down your nervous symptoms, express your feelings so that they don’t stay “bottled up,” and learn how to recognize the first signs of stress so it doesn’t spiral out of control.Besides speaking to a therapist or a mental health counselor who can help you identify dynamics that may be causing these illnesses

Thoughts on Liver and Kidney
Next major organ which helps our body run on a daily basis is our filtration system. Consisting of Kidneys, liver, bladder, ureter, parts of the urinary tract. The physiology of a few of the organs is as follows: At the same time the liver plays the most significant role in cleansing the blood. The liver breaks down waste into relatively harmless substances that is then released from the body. Now let's talk about the illness of filtration system The two major illnesses associated with the filtration system of the body are type two diabetes and high blood pressure. Which are responsible for up to two-thirds of the cases. Diabetes happens when your blood sugar is too high, causing damage to many organs in your body, including the kidneys and heart, as well as blood vessels, nerves and eyes.

Thoughts and Digestive system
After lungs and heart the digestive system plays a vital role in our body. The digestive system is made up of the gastrointestinal tract—also called the digestive tract or GI tract. The main organs that make up the digestive system are the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum and anus. Helping them along the way are the pancreas, gallbladder and liver. The digestive system breaks down the foods we eat into energy our bodies can use. Stomach is a muscular organ found in the GI tract. The stomach muscles contract periodically churning food to enhance digestion with the help of acid and enzymes it produces. Motility, digestion, absorption and secretion are the four vital functions of the digestive system as described by WebMD and other medical sites Gas, bloating, heartburn, acid reflux, are some of the discomforts we get due to negative emotions. The negative emotions which give this system its psychosomatic illness are jealousy and comparison.

Impact of our Thoughts on Heart
Heart is the muscle at the center of our circulation system, pumping blood around our body as our heart beats. This blood sends oxygen and nutrients to all parts of our body, and carries away unwanted carbon dioxide and waste products. Heart is a tender organ and is most associated with love, care and self worth. Love is nothing but accepting self, then the other person, a given situation, any object living or nonliving.

Thoughts and Lungs
In my previous posts, I talked about the effect of emotions on the brain and five senses. Today, I am going to talk about lungs and what lungs crave for? The lungs are the center of the respiratory (breathing) system. Every cell of the body needs oxygen to stay alive and healthy. Our body also needs to get rid of carbon dioxide. This gas is a waste product that is made by the cells during their normal, everyday function. So our lungs bring oxygen into our bodies, which is called inhalation and sends out carbon dioxide which is called exhalation. This exchange is called respiration that is why lungs are the prominent organ

Five senses and our Thoughts
After our brain comes the five senses of the body. These five senses are sight, smell, hear, touch, and taste. The body organs which are connected or responsible for the five senses are eyes, nose, ears, mouth and hands. They not only make us look good and pretty but assist the body in seeing, hearing, touching, smelling and tasting. Despite the fact that they appear physically different from the outside they are all the same from inside and their in functionality All of these body parts are sensitive to their respective features like When we see anything unpleasant or gross we tend to close our eyes. This action is so automated that we hardly recognize it.

Effect of Thoughts on the Brain
Today, I will inform you how the brain , which is a powerhouse of our body, gets affected by our thoughts. Anger, fear, jealousy, rage all take a huge toll on our brains. Many malfunctioning of the brain are directly related to such negative thoughts. How can one take charge of it, lets see.Brain is a physical organ which resides in our skulls and is mainly in the forehead area. It is divided into several compartments but these three are the major ones.

How Thoughts affect our Bodies
When you are stressed, anxious, or upset, your body reacts physically.Within reasonable limits, emotions cause no disease or weakness in the body. However, when negative thoughts or emotions become so powerful that they become uncontrollable and overwhelming for a prolonged period, they can cause real injury to the internal organs and open the door to disease. When the negative thoughts hit us we lose sense of judgment because the overpowering negativity rules our minds that time intellect stops making any decisions and lets the mind win resulting in wrong thinking, speaking and doing...

Thoughts Affecting Relationships
When two souls interact the first thing which takes place is the exchange of thoughts. The mind builds an impression through its thought process – the intellect acts upon it by analyzing it, and a soul creates an image of another soul. Hence, the exchange happens and a relationship is built upon that exchange. After creating this image, the mind starts labeling the soul by calling the person “intelligent or dumb, pretty or ugly, happy or sad,” the list goes on and on.

Thoughts and My Relationships
We all practically live for our relationships. We work hard for them, love them dearly, go out of our ways to fulfil their demands, try hard to understand them yet we hurt them or get hurt by them. We are all trying hard to mend the differences or filing the gaps, making sacrifices in every possible way but to no avail…Why is it that relations are so fragile today? While it was not the same 40 years back? The answer to this harsh question is that we were strong in our thinking 40 years back. The power of the soul was still lingering on the last thread of hope. Hope of goodness. Which unfortunately broke over the past decades and made the human soul so hollow, lonely and weak. I apologize for using such words of depression but I am saying what I am seeing every passing day. All this shift has happened because...

Power of Thoughts on my Everyday Life
Many of you may wonder: how can thoughts affect my daily life? How does it matter to the other person what I am or am not thinking? I think from my brain and speak from my mouth. Then how will anyone ever know what I am thinking? How can my thoughts reach the other person, whom I either know, or who is a total stranger to me? Now what is she trying to tell me? What does the power of thoughts have to do with my daily life...?PLEASE HOLD your train of THOUGHTS FOR A MOMENT! And go back to the beginning where you heard the simplified equation I gave in the initial episode on thought

Elevated Thoughts
The next level of thoughts which should come to a human mind more often than any other kind is the Elevated thought. Elevation means height, or a high thinking process. These thoughts are actually the true thoughts of a soul. These thoughts are of transmitting love, purity, harmony, peace and happiness. In elevated thoughts, one has to tune their mind into not the bodily aspect but the aspect of the soul.I am a peaceful soul.

Positive thoughts
Positive thinking is an optimistic attitude, it is about focusing on the good in any situation, approaching challenges with the expectation of positive outcomes, and cultivating a mindset that promotes well-being. It involves actively seeking out and emphasizing the positive aspects of situations, rather than dwelling on negativity. It's about approaching life with the belief that things will generally turn out well, even in the face of adversity. It is about cultivating a positive mindset. It's about training your mind to focus on the good and to see opportunities for growth and learning, even in difficult times.

Negative Thoughts
These types of thoughts only generate negative aspects of human creativity. As the name suggests these thoughts radiate self-harm, and hurt either physically, mentally, or emotionally. Thoughts of incompetency- like I am always going to be so miserable, inferiority, comparison, fear of uncertainties, labelling self as a loser, and many moreWhen we think negatively we turn on that switch of negativity for hours, days, and, in some cases, months. Our entire thinking system is blocked. We radiate only hopeless energy, the energy of failure, anger, depression, and all the negative emotions. To overcome our emotional insecurities many of us look for quick fixes like smoke, alcohol, weeds, emotional eating, and drinking – all called stimulants. These outside objects become our zone of comfort to such an extent that we often get carried away in these stimulants and get addicted to them.

Waste Thoughts
Waste thoughts are those that don't contribute to your goals, well-being, or present moment focus. They can include rumination, negative self-talk, or dwelling on things beyond your control. "waste thoughts" refer to unnecessary or distracting thoughts that are unproductive and can drain energy, often stemming from dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. Thinking about past mistakes or regrets. Worrying excessively about future outcomes. Being distracted by unimportant information or advertisements. Having random, intrusive thoughts that don't serve a purpose, thinking of others, comparing with others and so on.Wasteful thoughts as the name suggests are a total waste of time. When we take time and do not use it properly, we are actually abusing it. This may sound a little dramatic but just think about it for a minute.

These thoughts help you understand the situation and then take appropriate action for it.
