Sisters, this week I want to talk about one of the most beautiful phrases in the Bible — “a land flowing with milk and honey.” You see it over and over again when God is talking to the Israelites about the Promised Land. And every time I read it, it just makes me pause and smile, because it tells us so much about the heart of God.

Today we are going to spend a few minutes connecting with the Holy Spirit to meet with Jesus. This is an introduction to what is called Prophetic Inner Healing, as you are going to connect with the almighty healer today.

Today, I want to dig deep into one of my favorite scriptures, Ephesians 3:16–19, which is also one of the foundation scriptures for the Stand Firm community.

A man’s heart plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps. [Proverbs 16:9 NKJV] Yes, my friend… it truly takes a shift in our thinking to stop and listen to the Lord. And then actually do what He says!

A man’s mind plans his way as he journeys through life, but the Lord directs his steps and establishes them. [Proverbs 16:9 AMP] This is how we walk in that peace we talked about last week, by yielding to the Holy Spirit and following His guidance instead of trying to do it all on our own.

We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. [Proverbs 16:9 NLT] I just love this verse because, yes we can make all the plans we want for our lives, but the Lord determines the outcome!

Those other thoughts will come, because they do when we are walking towards our vision Thoughts of unworthiness… uselessness… not being good enough. You know the ones — those lies from the enemy.

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope [Jeremiah 29:11 NLT]

Then the LORD said to me. Write my answer plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others. This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. [Habakkuk 2:2-3 NLT]

Then the Lord answered me and said, Write the vision. And engrave it plainly on clay tablets. So that the one who reads it will run. For the vision is yet for the appointed future time. It hurries toward the goal of fulfillment; it will not fail. Even though it delays, wait patiently for it. Because it will certainly come; it will not delay. [Habakkuk 2:2-3 AMP]

Stellar Thinking Friday is all about renewing our mind through the Word and Spirit-led thinking. Where there is no vision, no revelation of God and His word, the people are unrestrained; But happy and blessed is he who keeps the law of God [Proverbs 29:18 AMP] The best way to renew your mind is to meditate on scripture

Where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law [Proverbs 29:18 NKJV] Today, pause and sit with this one question: WHAT IS YOUR GOD-GIVEN VISION?

Where there is no vision from God, the people run wild, but those who adhere to God’s instruction know genuine happiness. [Proverbs 29:18 The Voice]

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen [Ephesians 3:20-21] QUOTE: Ask God to enlarge your vision, to show you how much more He has for you beyond what you have ever seen, felt, heard, or know. It’s there; but He’s waiting for you (anonymous)!

But the Lord’s plans stand firm forever; his intentions can never be shaken [Psalm 33:11] QUOTE: The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well (Ralph Waldo Emerson).

And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. [Ephesians 3:18]

Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan. [Ephesians 1:11]. QUOTE: I believe purpose is something for which one is responsible; it’s not just divinely assigned (Michael J. Fox).

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect [Romans 12:2] Many of the negative thoughts in your head are lies from the pit of hell, and you have a choice NOT to believe them!!!

And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus return [Philippians 1:6]. QUOTE: There are no wrong turnings. Only paths we had not known we were meant to walk (Guy Gavriel Kay).

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him [James 1:12]. QUOTE: Some people complain because God put thorns on roses, while others praise Him for putting roses among thorns (Unknown).

Look, I have given you authority over all the power of the enemy, and you can walk among snakes and scorpions and crush them. Nothing will injure you. But don’t rejoice because evil spirits obey you; rejoice because your names are registered in heaven. [Luke 10:19-20] QUOTE: Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning the devil says, oh crap she's up…!!!!

And so, dear [brothers and] sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. [Romans 12:1]. QUOTE: I’m not single, I’m not taken, I am on reserve for the one that deserves my heart (anonymous).

But Jonah got up and went in the opposite direction to get away from the Lord. He went down to the port of Joppa, where he found a ship leaving for Tarshish. He bought a ticket and went on board, hoping to escape from the Lord by sailing to Tarshish [Jonah 1:3]. QUOTE: The challenge with running from God is that you will always run into HIM (Kingsley Opuwari Manuel).

And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself [James 3:6]. QUOTE: Be mindful when it comes to your words. A string of some that don't mean much to you, may stick with someone else for a lifetime (Rachel Wolchin).

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done [Philippians 4:6]. QUOTE: If you only pray when you’re in trouble, you’re in trouble (Anonymous).

Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. [John 15:5]. QUOTE: Few people during their lifetime come anywhere near exhausting the resources dwelling within them. There are deep wells of strength that are never used (Richard E. Byrd). There is a power in each believer that most people hardly use or recognize. The power is so great that it’s almost incomprehensible to fully understand.

QUOTE: If prayer is you talking to God, then intuition is God talking to you (Wayne Dyer). There is nothing more powerful than the alone focused time that we spend with the Lord.

SCRIPTURE: Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you [1 Peter 5:7]. QUOTE: Let go of what you think you know. Something amazing happens when you let God and trust (Tammy L. Kubasko). Let Go—Let God. Four simple words, yet their power is often underestimated. These words, though sometimes spoken lightly, carry the potential to transform your life. When truly understood, they represent not just a phrase, but a way of living. Let Go—Let God. What do these words truly mean to you? 

See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! [1 John 3:1a] QUOTE: The only person who can pull me down is myself, and I’m not going to let myself pull me down anymore (C. JoyBell).

Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them [Ephesians 4:29] QUOTE: You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously (unknown).

He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever [Revelation 21:4] QUOTE: You will heal and you will rebuild yourself around the loss you have suffered. You will be whole again, but you will never be the same. Nor should you be the same nor would you want to (Elisabeth Kubler-Ross).

SCRIPTURE Some people make cutting remarks, but the words of the wise bring healing. [Proverbs 12:18]   QUOTE: Words can be medicines; they can also be poisons. Words can heal; they can also kill. It all depends on how, when and where they are use and against whom (Israelmore Ayivor)

SCRIPTURE: For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children. And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering. Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later. [Romans 8:16-18] QUOTE: We were descended from royalty (Natalie Wood).

SCRIPTURE: Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the Lord will lack no good thing. [Psalm 34:10]. QUOTE: When you trust God as a provider, you will never cease to see wonders in your life (Gift Gugu Mona).

Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom [Proverbs 11:2] QUOTE: For the Christian, humility is absolutely indispensable. Without it there can be no self-knowledge, no repentance, no faith, and no salvation (Aiden Wilson Tozer).

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. [Ecclesiastes 4:9-10] QUOTE: I think this is what we all want to hear: that we are not alone in hitting the bottom and that it is possible to come out of that place courageous, beautiful, and strong (Anna White).
