    Jesus Heals The Paralyzed Man

Hey friends.Today’s story is about a man who had been unable to walk for 38 years. Thirty-eight years. He was lying beside a pool, waiting for healing. Jesus walked up to him and asked a surprising question: “Do you want to get well?” Of course he did.But the man started explaining why he couldn’t. “I have no one to help me. Someone always gets there before me.” Excuses. Reasons. Delays. Then Jesus said three simple words: “Get up. Walk.” And immediately — the man was healed. Here’s what stands out: He had been stuck for almost four decades. But one moment with Jesus changed everything.Sometimes we get used to being stuck.Used to the fear.Used to the habit.Used to the excuse. But when Jesus says move — we move. Not because we feel ready. But because He said so. If there’s an area in your life where you feel stuck, listen closely.Jesus may be saying, “Get up.” Be strong. Be courageous.

    The Catch

Hey friends. Welcome back to Strong & Courageous.Today we’re talking about fishermen. Peter and his friends had been fishing all night. And they caught nothing. They were tired. Frustrated. Probably ready to quit. Jesus stepped into Peter’s boat and said, “Put out into deep water, and let down your nets.” Peter answered honestly. “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything.” But then he said something powerful: “But because You say so, I will let down the nets.” And when they did — they caught so many fish that the nets began to break. Here’s what I love: Peter didn’t understand it. It didn’t make sense. He was exhausted. But he obeyed anyway.Sometimes Jesus asks you to try again. To forgive again. To trust again. Even when you’re tired. And sometimes the breakthrough comes after obedience — not before. If Jesus is asking you to take one more step, say what Peter said: “Because You say so.” Be strong. Be courageous.

    Jesus Raises Lazarus

Hey friends.Today we’re talking about Lazarus. Lazarus was sick. His sisters sent word to Jesus. But Jesus didn’t come right away. By the time He arrived, Lazarus had been dead for four days. Martha said, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” Have you ever felt that? “Jesus, if You had just shown up sooner…” But Jesus said something powerful. “I am the resurrection and the life.” Then He went to the tomb and said, “Lazarus, come out.” And Lazarus walked out. Still wrapped in grave clothes. This story reminds us: Even when it feels too late… it’s not too late for Jesus. When hope feels buried, He still speaks life. Maybe something in your life feels sealed shut. A dream.A friendship.A prayer you’ve been waiting on. Jesus still calls things out of the grave. Trust Him. Be strong. Be courageous.

    Jesus Cast Out Darkness

Hey friends. Today’s miracle shows us something important. Jesus met a man who was controlled by evil spirits. He lived alone. He was isolated. He was hurting. No one could help him. But when Jesus stepped onto the shore, everything changed. The darkness recognized Him. And with one command, Jesus set the man free. Afterward, the man was sitting calmly, dressed, and in his right mind. Here’s what that means for us:There is no darkness stronger than Jesus.Fear.Anxiety.Addiction.Shame.None of it has more authority than Him. If you feel overwhelmed, remember this: Jesus doesn’t struggle against darkness. He speaks — and it moves. Whatever feels heavy in your life today, bring it to Him. He is stronger. Be strong. Be courageous.

    Jesus Heals The Blind Man

Hey friends. Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Today we’re talking about a man who was blind from birth. The disciples asked Jesus,“Who sinned? This man or his parents?” They assumed his blindness was someone’s fault. But Jesus said something powerful. “It was not that this man sinned… but that the works of God might be displayed in him.”Then Jesus made mud, placed it on the man’s eyes, and told him to go wash. The man obeyed. And when he washed — he could see. But here’s what stands out. The crowd argued. The religious leaders doubted. People questioned him. But the man kept saying, “One thing I do know. I was blind. Now I see.” You don’t have to know everything about Jesus to stand firm. You just have to know what He’s done in your life.Maybe people question your faith.Maybe they don’t understand it.That’s okay. You can simply say, “I once was blind. Now I see.” Be strong. Be courageous.

    Just Say The Word

Hey friends.Today we’re talking about bold faith. A Roman centurion — a military leader — came to Jesus and said, “Lord, my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.” Jesus said, “I will come and heal him.” But the centurion replied with something surprising. “Lord, I am not worthy to have You come under my roof. But only say the word, and my servant will be healed.”He explained that he understood authority. As a soldier, when he gave an order, people obeyed. He believed Jesus had that same authority — even over sickness. Jesus was amazed. He said, “I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.” And in that moment, the servant was healed. Notice something powerful: The centurion didn’t need to see it happen. He didn’t need Jesus to be physically present. He trusted Jesus’ word.Faith isn’t demanding proof.Faith is trusting who Jesus is.You may not see the answer yet.You may not feel the breakthrough yet. But do you trust His authority?Today, choose to believe that when Jesus speaks — things change. Even if you don’t see it immediately. Be strong. Be courageous.

Bring Your Broken Places To Jesus

Hey friends. Jesus was in the synagogue one Sabbath day, and there was a man there with a withered hand. His hand didn’t work. It was weak. Lifeless. And the religious leaders were watching closely. Not because they cared about the man — but because they wanted to see if Jesus would heal on the Sabbath so they could accuse Him. Jesus knew what they were thinking. He called the man forward and asked the crowd, “Is it lawful to do good or to do harm on the Sabbath? To save life or to kill?” They stayed silent. Then Jesus looked at them with grief — because their hearts were hard. And He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” Now think about that. The man had to stretch out the very thing that didn’t work. The thing that was weak. The thing that was broken. And when he did — it was restored. Sometimes we want to hide our broken places. Our insecurity. Our struggles. Our fear. But Jesus says, “Stretch it out.” Bring it to Me.Healing begins when we stop hiding. Today, whatever feels weak in your life — bring it to Jesus instead of covering it up. He restores what we place in His hands. Be strong. Be courageous.See you tomorrow.

    Obedience Comes Before The Miracle

Hey friends. Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Today I want you to notice something different about the story of the ten lepers. Ten men who were sick cried out to Jesus from a distance. They said “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” And Jesus told them, “Go show yourselves to the priests.”Now here’s the key part. They were not healed yet. Their skin was still diseased. Nothing had changed. But they started walking anyway. And the Bible says: “As they went, they were cleansed.” Did you catch that They were healed while they were walking in obedience. Not before. Not after they saw proof. But as they went. Sometimes we wait to obey until we see the miracle. We wait to forgive until the hurt goes away.We wait to step out until we feel confident. We wait to trust God until things make sense. But often, God moves when we move.Healing happens as you go.Courage grows as you step.Faith strengthens as you obey. Maybe today God is asking you to take one small step — even if nothing looks different yet. Take it.You might just find the miracle waiting on the other side of obedience.Be strong. Be courageous.See you tomorrow.

    Bring Your Friends To Jesus

Hey friends. Today’s miracle is about friendship. There was a man who couldn’t walk.He had four friends who believed Jesus could heal him. When they brought him to the house where Jesus was teaching, it was packed. There was no way in.So they did something bold. They climbed onto the roof. They dug through it.And they lowered their friend down right in front of Jesus. Can you imagine the dust falling? The crowd gasping? But here’s the part I love. The Bible says, “When Jesus saw their faith…” Not just the man’s faith. Their faith. He said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Then He told him to get up, take his mat, and walk. And he did. This miracle teaches us two things.First — Jesus cares about your heart even more than your body.Second — your faith can help carry someone else to Jesus. Maybe you have a friend who’s struggling.Maybe someone who doesn’t know God yet.Maybe someone who feels stuck. Be the kind of friend who carries people toward Jesus. Pray for them.Encourage them.Invite them. You never know what miracle might happen because you chose to lift someone up. Be strong. Be courageous.I’ll see you tomorrow.

    Jesus Is Never Late

Hey friends. Today’s story is about a father. A man named Jairus had a little girl who was dying. And he was desperate. He ran to Jesus. Fell at His feet. And begged Him to come heal his daughter. Jesus agreed. But on the way… they were delayed. Crowds slowed them down.Interruptions happened. And while they were still walking, someone came with terrible news:“Your daughter is dead. Don’t bother the teacher anymore.”Can you imagine that moment? The heartbreak. The finality. But Jesus turned to Jairus and said something powerful: “Don’t be afraid. Just believe.” When they arrived at the house, people were crying and mourning. But Jesus said,“She is not dead — she is sleeping.” They laughed at Him. But Jesus went inside, took the girl by the hand, and said, “Little girl, arise.” And she got up. Just like that. Here’s what this teaches us:Jesus is not limited by what looks final to us. Sometimes we think,“It’s over.” “It’s too late.” “There’s no fixing this.” But Jesus operates on a different timeline. If you’re waiting on something…If you feel like hope has died… Hear His words today:“Don’t be afraid. Just believe.” He is never late. And nothing is impossible for Him. Be strong. Be courageous.See you tomorrow.

    The Woman Who Touched Jesus

Hey friends. Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Today we’re talking about a miracle that almost no one noticed at first. There was a woman who had been sick for twelve years.Twelve years of pain.Twelve years of doctors.Twelve years of disappointment. She had spent all her money trying to get better — and nothing worked. But she heard that Jesus was nearby. There was a huge crowd around Him. People pushing, pressing, trying to get close. And this woman thought to herself,“If I can just touch His robe… I’ll be healed.” She didn’t ask for attention. She didn’t shout. She didn’t make a scene. She reached out quietly… and touched the edge of His garment. And instantly — she was healed. But here’s what’s amazing. Jesus stopped. In the middle of the crowd, He said,“Who touched Me?” The disciples were confused. Everyone was touching Him.But Jesus knew this touch was different. It was a touch of faith. The woman came forward, trembling, and told Him the whole truth. And Jesus said,“Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace.” Did you hear that? Daughter. He didn’t just heal her body.He restored her identity. Maybe you feel invisible.Maybe you feel like just another face in the crowd. But Jesus notices quiet faith. Even when no one else sees your prayer.Even when no one else sees your tears. He sees. And your quiet reach toward Him matters.

    Keep Your Eyes On Jesus

Hey friends.Right after Jesus fed the 5,000, the disciples got back into a boat. And again — a storm hit.In the middle of the night, they saw something walking toward them on the water. They were terrified. But it was Jesus. He said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”Peter said, “Lord, if it’s really You, tell me to come to You on the water.”Jesus said one word:“Come.”Peter stepped out of the boat. And he walked on water. He walked on water. But then… he looked at the wind. He noticed the waves. He felt the storm. And he started to sink.He cried out, “Lord, save me!”And immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him. Here’s what this teaches us:Peter didn’t sink because of the storm. He sank when he shifted his focus. When you focus on fear, you sink. When you focus on Jesus, you walk in things you never thought possible. You don’t have to have perfect faith. Peter didn’t.You just have to keep your eyes on Jesus — and when you start to sink, cry out.He will reach for you.Today, whatever storm you’re facing, ask yourself:“Where are my eyes?”Fix them on Jesus.Be strong. Be courageous.See you tomorrow.

    Jesus Feeds The Five Thousand

Hey friends. Welcome back. Have you ever felt like what you have isn’t enough? Not enough talent. Not enough confidence. Not enough money. Not enough courage. In the Bible, thousands of people were following Jesus all day. They were hungry. And the disciples were stressed. They said, “Jesus, we need to send them away. There’s no way we can feed all these people.” Jesus asked, “What do you have?” One little boy had five loaves of bread and two fish. That’s it. It wasn’t enough. Not even close. But he gave it to Jesus anyway. Jesus took the bread. He thanked God. He broke it. And He kept handing it out.And it didn’t run out. Five thousand men were fed. Plus women and children. And there were leftovers. Here’s the miracle:Jesus didn’t need more.He just needed surrender. When you give Jesus what you have — even if it feels small — He multiplies it. Your kindness? He multiplies it.Your obedience? He multiplies it.Your little bit of courage? He multiplies it. You don’t have to be the most talented person in the room.Just be willing. Today ask yourself:“What do I have that I can give to Jesus?”Give Him your small. He does big things with small offerings. Be strong. Be courageous.

    Jesus Calms The Storm

Hey friends. Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Today we’re talking about storms. Not just the kind with rain and thunder… but the kind that happen in your life. One day, Jesus told His disciples to get into a boat and cross to the other side of the lake. Everything was fine at first. Calm water. Normal night. But suddenly — a huge storm came. The wind was howling. The waves were crashing into the boat. It was filling with water. And do you know what Jesus was doing? Sleeping. The disciples were panicking. They shook Him awake and said, “Teacher! Don’t you care if we drown?” Jesus stood up. He looked at the wind and the waves and said, “Peace. Be still.” And instantly — the storm stopped. The water became completely calm. Then Jesus asked them, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Here’s what I want you to hear today: The storm was real. The fear was real. But Jesus was in the boat. And if Jesus is in your boat, you are not going down.Maybe your storm looks like: • A hard friendship. • Anxiety before a test. • Family stuff that feels overwhelming. • Feeling left out.You might be thinking, “Jesus, don’t You care?” He does. And sometimes He calms the storm around you. And sometimes He calms the storm inside you. Either way — He is in the boat. Today, when fear tries to rise up, whisper this: “Jesus is in my boat. I don’t have to be afraid.” Be strong.Be courageous. I’ll see you tomorrow.

    No Greater Love

Hey friends, welcome back to Strong & Courageous.Today we’re talking about the greatest kind of love there is.Jesus said, “No greater love has one than this, that he lays down his life for his friends.”That verse tells us something really important about love. Real love isn’t just words. Real love shows up. It sacrifices. It puts others first.Jesus didn’t just say these words—He lived them.He chose to lay down His life because He loves us. He saw our sin, our mistakes, and our brokenness, and He still chose the cross. That means you are not loved because you’re perfect. You’re loved because Jesus is loving. And when we understand how much we are loved by Him, it changes how we treat our friends. We learn to forgive. We learn to serve. We learn to love even when it costs us something. You may not be asked to give your life for a friend—but every day you can choose patience, kindness, and selfless love.Today, remember this:You are deeply loved by Jesus, and His love helps you love others well.Let’s pray together.Jesus, thank You for loving me so much. Help me share that same love with the people around me. Amen.

  16. 113

    Love Your Neighbor As Yourself

Hi friends, this is Strong & Courageous.Jesus said one of the greatest commands is this: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”Mark 12:31 “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”That sounds simple—but it’s actually challenging.Loving your neighbor doesn’t just mean your best friend. It means the kid who annoys you. The person who’s different from you. The one who’s hard to love.Loving others the way you want to be loved means showing kindness, forgiveness, and grace—even when it’s not returned.Jesus loved people who were rejected. He loved people who didn’t deserve it. And He asks us to do the same.Today, ask yourself:If I were in their place, how would I want to be treated?Let’s pray together:Jesus, help me love others the way You love me. Give me a kind heart and courageous faith. Amen.

  17. 112

    Two Are Better Than One

Today’s truth is simple but powerful: you were never meant to do life alone. The Bible says, “Two are better than one.” Why? Because when one person falls, the other can help them back up.Friendship matters. God designed us to need each other. We need people who will encourage us, pray for us, and help us stand when we feel weak.Sometimes we think being strong means doing everything on our own. But real strength is knowing when to ask for help.God often uses friends to lift us up—just when we need it most.So think about this:Who has God placed in your life to help you? And who can you help today?Let’s pray:God, thank You for the friends You give me. Help me be someone who lifts others up. Amen.

  18. 111

    A Friendship That Chose Love

Today I want to tell you a story about one of the greatest friendships in the Bible—the friendship between David and Jonathan.David was a shepherd boy who trusted God. Jonathan was a prince—the son of King Saul. They came from very different places, but the Bible says their souls were knit together.Jonathan loved David as himself. He wasn’t jealous of David’s gifts. He didn’t compete with him. Instead, Jonathan chose love. He chose loyalty.Even when Jonathan knew David would one day be king instead of him, he stayed faithful. He protected David. He warned him of danger. He stood by him when it cost him something. That’s real friendship.A true friend isn’t just someone who has fun with you. A true friend wants what’s best for you—even when it’s hard.David and Jonathan remind us that godly friendship is built on love, trust, and faithfulness. And here’s the good news—God wants us to have friendships like that too.So ask yourself today:Am I being the kind of friend who protects, encourages, and loves others well?

  19. 110

    Love God First

Hey friends! Welcome back to Strong and Courageous!Today we’re learning about the most important commandment Jesus gave.Have you ever had to choose between doing the right thing or the easy thing? Maybe sharing your snack or helping a friend instead of playing alone? Jesus tells us the greatest commandment helps guide all our choices.Matthew 22:37 says: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind.’ Jesus is saying that loving God comes first—everything else flows from that love. When we love God with all our hearts, it helps us make good choices, treat others kindly, and follow Him with joy.Love God first, and everything else will fall into place.

    A Second Chance

Hey friends, welcome back to Strong and Courageous!Today on Strong and Courageous we’re diving into one of the wildest Bible stories—Jonah and the big fish! God told Jonah to go to Nineveh and tell the people to stop doing wrong. But Jonah didn’t want to go—so he ran the opposite way! He got on a boat, a storm came, and Jonah was thrown overboard. Then something crazy happened—‘The Lord provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights’ (Jonah 1:17). While inside, Jonah prayed and told God he was sorry. And guess what? God gave him another chance. We all mess up sometimes. Maybe we disobey our parents, say something mean, or don’t do what God asks us to. But the story of Jonah shows us that even when we run away,God still loves us. He always gives us a second chance to obey Him.

    Our Shepherd

Hey friends, welcome back to Strong and Courageous! Have you ever seen a shepherd with sheep? The shepherd makes sure the sheep don’t get lost and protects them from danger. Sheep don’t always know the right path, but the shepherd does.Psalm 23:1 says: ‘The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need.’Just like a shepherd takes care of sheep, God takes care of us. He guides us, protects us, and gives us everything we need—not always what we want, but what we truly need. Thanks for listening today!See you tomorrow on Strong and Courageous!

  22. 107

    Don't Give Up

Welcome back to Strong and Courageous!Have you ever wanted to quit something?Maybe homework feels too hard, practice is tiring or being kind to someone who isn’t nice feels impossible. We’ve all felt that way.The Bible says in Galatians 6:9, ‘Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.’That verse means this—when we keep going, even when it’s tough, God promises it will be worth it. Think about planting a seed. You don’t see fruit right away, but if you water it and wait, something amazing grows. It’s the same with doing good. Keep showing kindness, keep trying your best, keep trusting God—even when you feel like quitting.God sees your effort, and He’s growing something in you.

  23. 106

    Pray Continually

Welcome back to Strong and Courageous! Today I want to remind you that you can pray any time about anything.1 Thessalonians 5:17 says: 'Pray continually'.This verse is a good reminder that prayer is not only for your really big problems, you can pray to God about everything and anything at any time of the day.God is that friend that you can call on anytime of the day.

  24. 105

    The Power Of Your Words

Hey friends! Welcome back to Strong and Courageous!Today’s lesson is about the power of your words. Have you ever said something mean to someone and immediately felt bad? Words can hurt, but they can also help and encourage others. Your words have power!“Proverbs 18:21 says: ‘The tongue has the power of life and death."Choose words that build people up instead of tearing them down.

  25. 104

    When Anger Takes Over

Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Anger is something every one of us experiences. It can show up fast—when things feel unfair, when someone hurts us, or when we don’t get our way.Proverbs 29:11 says, “Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.” This verse doesn’t say anger itself is wrong. It shows us the difference between reacting and responding. Letting anger control us often leads to words and actions we regret. Wisdom, on the other hand, knows when to pause.Anger can look like snapping at someone you love, raising your voice, shutting down, or saying things you wish you could take back. Being wise doesn’t mean pretending you’re not angry. It means choosing what you do with that anger. Pausing, breathing, stepping away, and praying before reacting can change everything.Wisdom chooses calm over losing control.

  26. 103

When You're Nervous To Pray Out Loud

Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. For some people, praying out loud feels easy. For others, it’s one of the most nerve-wracking things they can imagine. You might worry about saying the wrong words, freezing up, or being judged by others.Prayer is not a performance. God isn’t grading your words or timing you. He’s listening to your heart. Even when your words come out messy—or don’t come out at all—God understands. If you’re nervous to pray out loud, you’re not doing anything wrong. You can start small. You can pray one sentence. You can pray quietly. You can pray exactly where you are. God cares more about honesty than confidence. When fear says, “What if I mess up?” God says, “I’m right here, and I know your heart.”

  27. 102

    Be A Peacemaker

Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Drama has a way of pulling us in. It starts with a comment, a text, a rumor, or a side conversation—and suddenly we’re right in the middle of it.Matthew 5:9 says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”Jesus calls us to something different. Instead of adding to drama, He calls us to bring peace. Being a peacemaker doesn’t mean you pretend nothing is wrong. It means you choose how you respond.Drama grows when we repeat stories, take sides too quickly, or react without listening. Peace grows when we pause, pray, and choose words that don’t make things worse.Choosing peace over drama can look like not repeating something you heard. It can look like staying out of conversations that tear people down.It can look like going directly to the person instead of talking about them.It can look like walking away from situations that don’t bring peace. It’s not always the easiest choice—but it is the wiser one.Strong and courageous people choose peace over drama.

  28. 101

    When Waiting Feels Hard

Welcome back to Strong & Courageous.Waiting is one of the hardest things we do. We want answers, change, and solutions—now.Isaiah 40:31 says, “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles.” Waiting doesn’t mean God is inactive. Often, waiting is where God strengthens us, shapes our character, and prepares us for what’s coming next. You may be waiting for clarity, healing, direction, or change. Even in the waiting, God is working. Your strength is being renewed, even if you can’t see it yet.Waiting on God is never wasted

  29. 100

When You Don't Know What To Do

Have you ever faced a decision and thought, “I have no idea what to do next”?James 1:5 says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.”God is not annoyed by our questions. He invites them. He promises wisdom—not judgment—when we ask. When you’re unsure about a choice, a relationship, or your next step, pause and ask God for wisdom. He may guide you through Scripture, wise people, or a quiet sense of peace.Takeaway:When you don’t know what to do, ask God.

  30. 99

    When You Don't Feel Strong

Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Not every day feels strong. Some days we wake up already tired, already unsure, already overwhelmed.2 Corinthians 12:9 says, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.”God doesn’t wait for us to feel strong before He works. He meets us right where we are.Not feeling strong can look like a lot of things. It can look like struggling to get out of bed because you’re emotionally exhausted. It can look like facing another school day or workday when you feel discouraged. It can look like trying to stay patient with your family when your energy is gone.It can look like smiling on the outside while feeling worn down on the inside. In those moments, God doesn’t ask you to power through on your own. He offers His strength in place of yours. When we admit we’re weak, we make room for God to carry what we can’t.

  31. 98

    You Are Never Alone

Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. At some point in life, most of us experience people leaving—friendships change, relationships shift, or seasons end. When that happens, it’s easy to start wondering if God will leave too.Hebrews 13:5 says, “God has said, ‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.’”This promise speaks directly to our fear of being abandoned. People may leave us, not always because they want to, but because they’re human. God, however, is different. He does not walk away. He does not grow tired. He does not change His mind about you. Sometimes we expect God to treat us the way people have treated us. But God’s faithfulness is not shaped by human behavior. His presence is constant. You may feel alone because someone you trusted is no longer there. You may carry disappointment, grief, or unanswered questions. But even in those moments, God remains close. When others leave, God stays. When others fail, God is faithful.People may leave, but God never will.

  32. 97

    When Problems Feel To Big

Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Have you ever faced a problem that felt bigger than you—something that didn’t have an easy fix, something that kept you up at night?Jeremiah 32:17 says, “Ah, Sovereign Lord, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You.” This verse wasn’t spoken during an easy season. It was spoken when things looked uncertain and overwhelming. And yet, Jeremiah reminded himself of who God is before focusing on how big the problem felt. Sometimes our problems feel huge because we’re looking at them too closely and God too distantly. But Scripture reminds us that the God who created the universe is the same God who cares about what you’re facing today. When problems feel too big, it doesn’t mean you’re weak. It means you’re human. It might be stress at school or work.A broken relationship.A decision you don’t know how to make.Or a situation you can’t control. God doesn’t promise that problems will disappear instantly, but He does promise that nothing is too hard for Him. He gives strength for today, wisdom for the next step, and peace even before answers come.Your problems may feel big, but God is bigger—and He is with you.

    Faithful With Little

Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Sometimes it feels like what we’re doing right now doesn’t really matter—especially when it feels small.Luke 16:10 says, “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.”God cares deeply about what we do with the little things He gives us.Being faithful with little shows up in everyday ways.It looks like doing your best on an assignment even when it’s not graded.Helping at home without being asked.Telling the truth when it would be easier not to.Showing up on time.Being kind when no one is watching. These moments may seem small, but they matter to God. God often uses small moments to prepare us for big ones. When we are faithful with our time, our attitude, and our responsibilities, God shapes our character and prepares our hearts for what’s next.Be faithful with little, and trust God with the more.

What To Do When You Mess Up

Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Let’s be honest—every one of us messes up sometimes.1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”God doesn’t ask us to hide our mistakes. He asks us to bring them to Him. When we confess, God doesn’t hesitate. He forgives, cleans, and restores. When you mess up, instead of running from God, run to Him. God’s forgiveness is not slow or partial—it’s complete.God meets honesty with forgiveness.

    Choosing Kindness When It's Hard

Welcome back to Strong & Courageous. Kindness is easy when people are kind to us. But what about when they’re not?Ephesians 4:32 says, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”This verse reminds us that kindness isn’t based on how others treat us—it’s based on how God has treated us.God shows us kindness even when we don’t deserve it. He forgives us, shows compassion, and continues to love us. That’s the example we’re called to follow.Choosing kindness doesn’t mean ignoring hurt or pretending everything is fine. It means responding with grace instead of anger, patience instead of revenge, and forgiveness instead of bitterness.Kindness may feel small, but it has the power to change conversations, relationships, and even hearts. We choose kindness because God first showed kindness to us.

    When You Feel Overlook

Have you ever felt overlooked—like you were trying your best, but no one seemed to notice or care? In Isaiah 49:15–16, God says, “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast? … I will not forget you. See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.”God uses one of the strongest images of care and remembrance to make His point: you are not forgettable. You are not invisible. God says your name is written on His hands. When others overlook you, it doesn’t mean you don’t matter. It means they’re limited—but God is not. You may feel unseen in your efforts, your struggles, or your faithfulness. But God remembers every moment. He sees the work you do when no one applauds and the tears you cry when no one notices. You are never overlooked by God.

When Trouble Comes God Is Near

Welcome to Strong & Courageous. Trouble has a way of showing up when we least expect it—at school, at work, in our families, or even in our own thoughts.Psalm 46:1 says, “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”That verse doesn’t say if trouble comes. It says when. And right there in the middle of it, God promises to be present.God doesn’t wait on the other side of our problems. He steps into them with us. He is our refuge when things feel overwhelming and our strength when we feel weak. When trouble comes—when plans fall apart, when stress rises, or when fear creeps in—you don’t have to face it alone. You can pause, breathe, and remember that God is already there, ready to help. When trouble comes, we can count on God being right there with us

Be Strong Even When You're Afraid

Be Strong… Even When You’re AfraidWelcome to Strong & Courageous. Let me ask you something—when was the last time you felt afraid, but you knew you still had to move forward? In Joshua 1:9, God says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”God doesn’t pretend fear won’t exist. He tells us where to look when it does.Joshua was stepping into leadership, responsibility, and the unknown. God didn’t remove the challenge—He promised His presence.Courage isn’t the absence of fear. It’s choosing obedience and trust when fear is present—whether that’s walking into a classroom, a workplace, a hard conversation, or a season you didn’t choose. You can move forward because God goes with you.

Episode 86: She Treasured These Things

Welcome back to our Christmas countdown! Today we’re slowing things down and looking at someone who was right in the middle of the Christmas story — Mary. After the shepherds arrived, after the angels sang, after all the excitement and noise, Scripture tells us something simple but powerful:“But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.”Mary didn’t rush past the moment. She didn’t ignore what God was doing. She stopped… and she treasured it.She held onto the miracle. She thought about God’s faithfulness. She remembered what He had promised — and how He was keeping every word. This reminds us of something important:Christmas isn’t just about rushing from one thing to the next.Sometimes God invites us to pause. To reflect. To treasure what He’s doing in our lives. So today, take a moment.Think about what God has done this year.Where He’s helped you.Where He’s shown up.Where He’s been faithful — even in hard moments.Let’s be like Mary and treasure it.Let’s pray:Jesus, help us slow down and notice You. Thank You for all the ways You’ve been faithful. We want to treasure what You’re doing in our hearts this Christmas. Amen.

Episode 85: The Wise Men Seek Him

Welcome to Day 13 of our Advent journey! Christmas is almost here, and today we’re talking about the wise men — travelers from far away who followed a star because they were searching for the newborn King. These men were smart, wealthy, respected… but even with everything they had, they knew something was missing. They needed Jesus. They traveled miles and miles across deserts and mountains. They didn’t give up.They didn’t stop when it got hard. They followed the light, step by step, until it led them to Jesus. And when they found Him, they bowed. They worshiped. They opened their treasures and gave Him their best gifts. The wise men teach us this:If you look for Jesus, you will always find Him.If you seek Him, He will show Himself to you.Jesus never hides from a heart that is searching for Him.So today, ask yourself:“What am I giving Jesus this Christmas? My time? My worship? My heart?”Let’s pray:Jesus, we want to seek You like the wise men did. Help us give You our best and follow You wherever You lead. Amen.

Episode 84: Let's Go And See

Welcome back to Day 12 of our Christmas countdown! Today we’re following the shepherds — the ordinary, everyday people who got the extraordinary news that Jesus was born. After the angels disappeared and the sky grew quiet again, the shepherds looked at each other and said something powerful:“Let’s go to Bethlehem. Let’s go and see this thing the Lord has told us about!”They didn’t wait. They didn’t overthink it.They didn’t say, “Eh, maybe tomorrow.”They hurried. They ran. They went straight to Jesus. When they found Him lying in the manger, everything changed. Their fear turned into joy. Their confusion turned into celebration. Their quiet night turned into a story they couldn’t stop sharing. And here’s the message for us today:Christmas is an invitation to come closer to Jesus. Not just to talk about Him…Not just to hear about Him…But to go and see for ourselves who He really is.So today, take a moment and go to Him — in prayer, in worship, in thankfulness.Let’s pray:Jesus, thank You for inviting us to come close. Help us hurry toward You just like the shepherds did. Amen.

    Episode 83: The Shepherds Surprise

Welcome to Day 11 of our Christmas countdown! Today we meet the shepherds — ordinary, overlooked, humble people just doing their job out in the fields. And suddenly…the sky exploded with light.Angels appeared. And the very first announcement of Christmas came to THEM.Not to kings. Not to religious leaders. Not to the rich or powerful.God chose shepherds. The angels said,“Do not be afraid… I bring you good news of great joy for ALL people.”Christmas is for everyone —the happy, the hurting, the lonely, the joyful, the tired, the excited, the stressed…everyone. If you ever feel like you’re not good enough or important enough, remember the shepherds.God sees you.God chooses you.God invites you.Let’s pray:God, thank You for announcing the birth of Jesus to ordinary people. Help us remember that Your love is for everyone — including us. Amen.

Episode 82: No Room At The Inn

Welcome to Day 10 of our Strong & Courageous Christmas Countdown! We are getting SO close to Christmas now, and today’s story might seem like a tiny detail… but it carries one of the BIGGEST truths of Christmas.Luke 2 tells us that when Mary and Joseph finally arrived in Bethlehem — tired, exhausted, and far from home — there was no room for them.No room at the inn.No extra space. No warm bed.No one saying, “Come in, we saved a spot for you.”Every door was shut.Every option was gone.Every place they tried said “there’s no room.”So the Savior of the world — the King of Kings — entered the world in the humblest place possible:A stable.A barn.A place that smelled like animals and hay.He wasn’t laid in a fancy crib.He was placed in a manger — a feeding trough. This wasn’t an accident. This wasn’t a mistake. This was God’s message to the world:👉 “I show up in the places you least expect.I come close to people who feel forgotten.”Christmas teaches us this powerful truth:God doesn’t wait for perfect moments, perfect people, or perfect settings. He meets us right in the middle of the ordinary… and even in the middle of the messy.Maybe this Christmas you feel overlooked.Maybe you feel like you don’t really fit.Maybe things feel heavy, confusing, or not what you hoped for.listen — Jesus gets it.He started His life in a place that felt too small, too simple, too forgotten. And He did that so you would know:✨ There is no place too low for God to reach you.✨ There is no situation too messy for God to step into.✨ There is no heart too broken for God to make room in.The world said, “There’s no room.”But God said, “I’m coming anyway.”

Episode 81: The Journey To Bethlehem

Welcome to Day 9 of our Christmas Advent journey! Today we’re talking about the long, uncomfortable, difficult journey Mary and Joseph took to Bethlehem.Imagine this:You’re nine months pregnant…There are no cars, no planes, no smooth roads…And the government suddenly says, “You must travel to your hometown.”Mary and Joseph packed up and started walking.Miles and miles.Day after day.All the way to Bethlehem. It probably felt stressful. It probably felt exhausting. But God was guiding every step.Because the prophecy said the Savior would be born in Bethlehem — and God uses even annoying things (like a census!) to fulfill His plan.Christmas reminds us of this truth:Even when life feels inconvenient, God is working behind the scenes. So if you’re stressed this season, or things aren’t going like you expected, remember Mary and Joseph’s journey.Let’s pray:Jesus, help us trust You when life feels difficult or confusing. Thank You for guiding our steps just like You guided Mary and Joseph. Amen.

Episode 80: Trust In God When It Doesn't Make Sense

Joseph: Trusting God Even When It Didn’t Make SenseHave you ever been in a situation where things didn’t make sense, but you had to trust someone anyway? That’s what happened to Joseph.Joseph had plans for his life. He was engaged to Mary, he was working hard, and he probably thought he knew exactly how his future would go. But suddenly everything changed. Mary was expecting a baby—God’s Son—and Joseph didn’t know what to do. None of it made sense. Then God sent an angel to speak to Joseph in a dream. The angel told him:“Do not be afraid… this child is from the Holy Spirit.”Joseph didn’t get all the answers. He didn’t get a step-by-step explanation. He simply got a message from God:“Trust Me.”And Joseph did.He trusted God enough to stay with Mary.He trusted God enough to protect Jesus. He trusted God enough to keep listening—even when the angel told him to leave in the middle of the night to escape danger.Joseph shows us something huge:👉 Trusting God means believing He’s working—even when we can’t see the whole picture.Kids and teens face moments like that too:• When a friendship changes• When a family situation is confusing• When something feels scary or unexpected• When God asks them to do something braveJoseph’s story reminds us that we can trust God’s heart even when we don’t understand God’s plan.He sees what we cannot see.He knows what we don’t know. And He is always working for our good.Today’s Strong & Courageous truth:⭐ God can be trusted—even when the path doesn’t make sense.Today’s challenge:Think of one thing in your life right now that feels confusing or uncertain. Pray and say,“God, I trust You with this.”God honored Joseph’s trust… and He’ll honor yours too.

    Episode 79: Mary's YES

Welcome to Day 6 of our Christmas countdown! Today we’re talking about one of the most incredible moments in the Christmas story — when the angel Gabriel visited a young girl named Mary.Mary wasn’t a queen. She wasn’t wealthy. She wasn’t important to the world. But she was chosen by God.Gabriel told her she would give birth to the Savior — Jesus. And even though it was scary… even though she didn’t understand everything… Mary said one simple word:“Yes.”That “yes” changed history. That “yes” brought Jesus into the world. That “yes” is the heartbeat of Christmas. When you see a Christmas nativity and Mary holding baby Jesus, remember:God uses people with obedient hearts.God uses people who say, “Lord, I’m Yours.”Today, ask yourself:“What is God asking me to say yes to?”God, thank You for Mary’s obedience. Give us the courage to trust You and say yes, even when things don’t make sense. Amen.

Episode 78: Bethlehem: The Little Town With A Big Miracle

Welcome back to Day 5 of our Advent journey! Today we’re talking about a tiny town… a town most people didn’t care about… a town God chose on purpose.Bethlehem.Micah 5:2 says,“Though you are small… out of you will come the One who will be ruler over Israel.”Isn’t it just like God to choose the place no one expects?Bethlehem wasn’t fancy. It wasn’t big. It wasn’t important. But on Christmas night, that little town became the center of the world. The Savior — the King — the Messiah…was born not in a palace, but in a stable. Not surrounded by gold, but by animals. Not announced to kings first, but to shepherds. Here’s what that tells us:You don’t have to be big to be used by God.You don’t have to be famous to matter to Him.If God can use Bethlehem, He can use YOU.
