Don't Quit - Better is Coming
In this message from Luke 13:6–9, Pastor Perry Tidwell shares God’s call to move into a new season by becoming fruitful in our walk with Christ. Using the parable of the fig tree, he reminds us that while God is patient and merciful, He also desires growth, maturity, and spiritual fruit in our lives. Jesus, our mediator, intercedes for us—asking for time to dig around our hearts and fertilize what has grown hard so new life can emerge. Pastor Perry challenges the church to take spiritual inventory, allowing God to dig deep and remove anything that hinders growth—such as bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, gossip, or spiritual complacency. He emphasizes that trials and hardships, though difficult, are often the very tools God uses to soften our hearts and strengthen our faith. The message is also a call to unity and love within the body of Christ. Rather than tearing one another down, believers are encouraged to pray for each other, speak life, and help restore those who may be struggling. As God prepares His people for what’s ahead, Pastor Perry urges the church to trust Him fully, move forward without looking back, and be ready for the “new thing” God desires to do. Key takeaway: God is giving us another season—not to remain stagnant, but to grow, be renewed, and bear lasting fruit for His glory.

Open My Eyes
In this message, we are reminded of the prayer from Psalm 119:18 — “Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things from Your law.” The heart of the sermon challenges us to examine whether we are truly spiritually awake or allowing blind spots, distractions, and the voice of the flesh to guide our lives. Using Romans 8:1, we are encouraged to walk according to the Spirit, not the flesh. Pastor Perry shares powerful stories and biblical examples to illustrate how easily people become dissatisfied, chasing what seems “better,” while overlooking the blessings God has already placed right beneath their feet. Just like the farmer who left a field full of diamonds searching for riches elsewhere, we often miss what God is already doing in our lives. The message highlights that trials and challenges are not signs of failure, but tools God uses to deepen our faith and draw us closer to Him. Being a Christian does not eliminate hardships, but it gives us hope, direction, and victory through Christ. We are reminded that God is still able to save, restore, and transform anyone — no matter their past, struggles, or limitations. Ultimately, this sermon calls the church to: Open our eyes spiritually Be content and thankful for what God has already given Stay rooted and grounded in God’s Word Recognize and resist the distractions of the enemy Trust God’s timing and purpose in every season God is calling His people to wake up, remove blind spots, and see the great things He has already placed before us as we continue reaching the lost and being a place of healing for the hurting.

Through practical teaching and heartfelt examples, this sermon calls the church to recognize the “strong man” — the real source of our struggle — and take spiritual authority through prayer, focus, and surrender. When we fix our eyes on Christ, we find peace, purpose, and the miracle He’s already working in our lives.
