    Look Up :: Haggai 2:1-9

    God names the discouragement so you don’t have to carry it alone (v. 1-3) God gives the strength so you don’t have to find it yourself (v. 4-5) God owns the outcome so you don’t have to produce it (v. 6-9) Big Idea: God meets His discouraged people right where they are and fills what looks like nothing with glory only He can provide.

    The Destruction of the Temple :: Mark 13

    There are 4 ways to interpret Mark 13. It could mean: 1) The destruction of the temple ~70 AD 2) End times 3) Final judgment 4) Jesus' death & resurrection Big Idea: May the people of God be faithful when structures we trust fail and fall. Jesus is in ultimate control. (v. 1-4) Opposition is not a sign of failure; God remains sovereign. (v. 5-23) The crucified Christ is over all things and coming back (v. 24-27) Be on guard and stay awake; this is a posture command. (v 28-37) Stay awake! Be faithful! Keep working!
