April 20th, 2025If you missed Easter Sunday this message is one worth circling back to for a listen. It's a simple yet timely call for Hope. Pastor Scott said "I need a hope that reminds me that every breath is good and full of possibility"... We are resurrection people. We are hopeful people. And because HE is risen, that hope is renewed, reminding us that All is Not Lost.

This week Pastor Scott wraps up our Hymnology Series speaking from the song Take My Life and Let it Be.

Last Sunday, our Worship Director, Chris Jacobson-Chism, provided a profound insight into the Black National Anthem, “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” In the third verse, titled “God of Our Weary Years,” Chris illuminated the significance of the anthem, urging us not only to stand in solidarity against injustice but also to take action, even amidst our collective fatigue.

This week, Pastor Scott shifted the focus slightly to acknowledge and address the pressing needs of the present. If you’ve been grappling with disappointment, fear, or despair, this week’s message isn’t a fix-all, but it might offer a glimmer of hope in a season and culture that often feels challenging to navigate.

This week Pastor Scott wraps up our impactful Church Wide Journey Series, Unoffendable, challenging us to not live in a place of anger as we combat it with gratitude.

This past summer, Melissa Keeble led another incredible group of travelers to visit our sister church in Malawi. This week, we dedicated time to celebrate and recognize the partnership and collaborative efforts that have been achieved over the past year. Melissa challenged us and offered a fresh perspective on what it looks like to welcome the stranger and the role we play on a daily basis.

This week Dan Ryan continued our Church Wide Journey sermon series with a compelling message challenging us to dig deeper into letting go of those things that offend us.
