Twice a week the host, Lily Dustin, gives advice as well as true stories to help out listeners who are having a hard time with keeping up with their mental health or having any other issues such as things with relationships, friendships, etc. Lily is a high schooler as well as a dual-sport athlete that has gone through multiple mental battles, but decided to get help from a professional. Going to therapy helped inspire her to make the Surviving The Mind podcast to help others like herself to get through those mental blocks. Each episode is full of positivity and reality of what it's like being in high school with multiple stressors against you, but being able to get through them.
