Tara's Mental Calibration

Not me fixing others... Me actually taking hardcore looks at myself and realizing things I could do better. I have lived a life of thinking I wasn't good enough to fix myself, so I figured I would help others succeed. At least someone would make it where I had some kind of hand in it. I have realized with LOTS of therapy that I can focus on me and help ME succeed. It's not an easy journey, it takes a lot of work to look at yourself. I'm showing up to do it... This is my journey of how I'm doing it... Unfolding in the present moment...

    The Art of Releasing the Floodgate

    After listening to my first episode, I am determined to leave everything in there. I have realized that I have lots to say, I will be more streamlined as I go along, but for now, this is good. I was reminded that a person who keeps a lot of things internal will take advantage of a chance to release the floodgate. I would say this isn't bad for my first time. I am grateful for those that listened and decide to stick around.

    Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, also known as CPTSD, is a mental health condition that can develop if you experience chronic long term trauma. It can cause a person to have anxiety, feel out of sorts, have a triggered nervous system, people please, and self sabotage... Just to name a few. I am here to address my experiences and talk about what I have figured out, what I am currently figuring out, and even what I need to figure out as I go. Finding comfort in my uncomfortableness... Is the plan.
