Tell Me Your Testimony

To wrap up season 2 I sat down with Jennifer Shock as she told me about how God has worked in her life. She explained how she has found blessing after following in obedience to the Lord. She gives great encouragement to those who feel like they are behind or the seasons they are in are lasting longer than they thought or wanted. She also gives insight to how God is refining her even now. What a great way to wrap up this season!!

Today I got to sit down with Dewana Dunn and I got so much good stuff out of this conversation with her! She talks about how she grew up in church and how that has evolved into having church out of her own house now! She also talks about her goals of ongoing growth in the Lord and how she wants to live a life that mimics Christ- so so good!! She explains how she sees her job as a platform for her mission work as a Christian which can be applied to any and all jobs and stages of life. Such a great episode, thank you Dewana!

This week I got to sit down with Mike and hear his testimony and how God has worked throughout his life. He is open about his journey and how throughout the years and different jobs he has been able to change his outlook and better his relationship with the Lord but also others. He also opens up about new opportunities that he's recently had to lead in church. This is a great episode and I am so that I got to sit down and have this conversation with Mike. 

For this episode I got to sit down with Jesse and hear about her walk and relationship with the Lord. She talks about how she has grown from knowledge about the Lord and turned that into a personal relationship with Him. She tells stories about how God has spoken to her personally and answered her specific prayers requests. Thank you Jesse for reminding me how personal our God is! 

Today I got to sit down with Zach and hear how God has worked in his life. Naturally we start at the beginning and walk through how he had to figure out God was real for himself. He also gets to share about how he is using his relationship with the Lord to influence those around him at work. This is a great episode and I am so glad I got to have this conversation with him. Thank you Zach!

For this week's episode I got to sit down with Jeremy Holland. This is such a fun episode and I got to hear about how Jeremy share his church camp stories and how the Lord spoke to him while he was there. Side note I absolutely love how church camps have created strong foundational memories with the Lord  for a lot of the guests I get to talk to!! We also hear his take on the word fellowship, how he is trying to keep others from falling into his mistakes, and much more in this episode!!

In this weeks episode I sat down with Brady Knox and got to hear his journey. He opens up about the choice he had to make to make his relationship with Jesus real. He talks about the little but super impactful steps he is taking to grow his faith and fully emerge himself in the Word.    

One year ago on March 28, 2023 I sat down with Stephen Knox to kick off this podcast. And now in March 2024 we got to sit down and hear what the Lord has done in Stephen's life. Spoiler alert: he got his answer to the question he would have asked Jesus a year ago. This is a great conversation and proof that the Lord is always working, even when you don't see it. I would encourage listeners that if they haven't listened to Stephen's first episode to go listen to that first! 

Welcome to Season 2!!! This season kicks off with Abby Wilson sharing a look into her walk with God. She shares when she first got saved and how her relationship with God has grown throughout her life. She credits her parents for rooting her in church, and talks about how she now has begun to step into teaching roles at church.  I cannot think of a better way to kick off this season! 

Welcome to the Tell Me Your Testimony Holiday Special. For this weeks episode I sat down with Abby Graver and Andrew Lakes and together they interviewed me. I walked through how my faith has became my own in the past several years and told them the many things God is teaching me currently. We then talk about the inspiration for this podcast and I shared a highlight from each of this seasons episode. I loved getting to sit down and share my testimony and am so thankful for Abby and Andrew's help throughout this episode and also this season. 

This week I sat down with Angie Stevens and got to hear about her relationship with Jesus and how it's changed throughout the course of her life. She explains how she used to know the verses because she was taught them in church, but now she fully believes them because the things she has lived. Angie does talk about some heavy things, and if her conversation stirs any big feelings up please don't hesitate to reach out to someone. 

This week I sat down with Tricia, and got to hear the wonderful story of how she came to know Christ. She talks about the first moments she heard God speaking and tells us how He is currently still using her today. We talk about the importance of going to God first and how important prayer is and Tricia talks about the journals that reveal what God has done throughout the years. And then she gives her message that she would tell the world, it's a great episode and you don't want to miss it! 

This week I got to sit down with Megan Hackney and hear how the Lord has worked in her life. She talks about growing up in the church, but then how she made the switch recently to really take the next step and get involved. She talks about how her husband Jake has helped her feel more comfortable, and how she is now working with the kids in her church. This is a great episode and I promise you- you don't want to miss it. 

This weeks episode is one you don't want to miss and I'm not just saying that. Lauren opens up about past church hurt and how she had to work through that to get to where she is now. And we wrap up by talking one of the most iconic movies ever: the Princess Diaries! 

Today I got to sit down with Erin Knox who is a self proclaimed" woman of few words"! She told us about her relationship with God and how thats spanned different denominations. She also gives insight into the first time she interacted with people who truly lived their lives for Christ and  how that is now affecting the way she interacts with her students now. And then she puts a little twist on the fun questions that you won't want to miss!

Today I got to sit down with yet another member of the wonderful Graver/Knox family: Angie! This is a joyful conversation with someone who talks about the positives and the sometimes struggles of growing up in church. Angie honestly talks about how sometimes church has felt like just going out of the motions, but also how she has gotten out of those moments and came out stronger. She also tells the story of one of her camp experiences and how that led to her meeting her husband. Are you starting to notice that camp stories are a theme?!?!

Today I got to have a conversation with one of the sweetest people I know: Liz Armor! She has been such a gift to me in my life, and I hope this conversation can be a gift to you as you’re listening. We talk about her upbringing in a Presbyterian church and how her view of God has changed over time, and how nature has always been apart of it. She also talks about how she is learning to trust God more and more, and uses a beautiful example from rock climbing to illustrate it. 

For this weeks episode I got to talk with David Koehne! He has quickly become one of my favorite people ever and it was such a joy to get to sit down and chat with him. He shared how he started out as the kid at teen camps that didn’t want to be there to how he is now working in the same youth ministry that introduced him to Jesus. We also talked about how we’ve gotten to learn different characteristics of God throughout our journey, and talked about our attitudes towards worship, and end the episode talking about the Cincinnati Reds! 

Today I got sit down with Andrew Lakes, who is someone I have known all of my life. He sat down and told me the first time he felt that a message was written directly for him, and moment in the mountains with God after that. He also talked about how the impact the generations before him has had on him, and shared some verses that has positively impacted him, and somehow Brad Pitt gets brought up:) 

Today I got to sit down with one of my closest friends Abby Graver. You’ll get to hear about her faith journey, how she first heard from God and she’ll talk about what she is learning about God now through her new roles. She explains her journey from this past December as a substitute teacher to how she is now a 1st grade teacher. And together we talk about camp highs, leadership roles, and the children we sponsor through Compassion. 

In this episode, I got to have a wonderful conversation with one my most favorite people on the planet: my mom. She talks about the 3 biggest events in her life: meeting her husband, adopting a child internationally, and how the COVID-19 pandemic changed her life. I’ve got to grow up hearing these stories, and even live through some of them as well, and I’m so thankful that she decided to share them with you all as well. Welcome to the Tell Me Your Testimony Podcast! I wanted to create a podcast where I get to talk to people and hear what God has done, and is doing in their lives. I hope these episodes are able to encourage you wherever you may be currently. For the first episode I sat down with Stephen Knox who has been such a big help in getting this podcast started so thank you Stephen. In our conversation we talk about how his role in his church has changed over time, what God is teaching him right now and what he is learning about balance currently. Moment of truth this was recorded March 28, and I am just now uploading it. My goal is to have weekly episodes so stay tuned!!
