The Artisan Church: All Inclusive Podcast

2 Corinthians 6:14 instructs that we not be "unequally yoked". And relationships are hard already in the extremely divisive world that surrounds us. We often find ourselves longing for peace with even our family. In this episode Pastor Reed, Stephanie and Rich talk about how to navigate differences in beliefs about God, church, and spirituality between our friends and partners, while holding to following Christ.

In this conversation, Stephanie, Rich, and Pastor Reed, explore definitions, and impressions of Christian nationalism. This is a broad first look at the topic. Rather than focus on politics here at home in the USA, they look at what scripture and Christ have to say about allegiance in the kingdom of God.

How do we share our faith with the next generation in ways that nurture curiosity instead of shutting it down? In this conversation, we explore the difference between healthy faith formation and indoctrination, and how parents, caregivers, and churches can guide children toward a faith that is genuine, resilient, and their own. We talk about practices that make space for questions, ways to model faith with integrity, and how to raise kids in love without controlling their beliefs.

Reed, Stephanie, and Rich sit down to listen to Jeff Stultz, founder of non-profits "Motorcycle Missionary" and "Broken Chains JC". Jeff candidly shares his own story of addiction, violence, crime... which was followed by an encounter with Christ, redemption and a call into serving and loving the biker and recovery communities in radical ways. There are some incredible lessons in this story about how God is at work in people's lives who are far, far away from a traditional church setting.
