32 - "His last name was Progresso"
Danya Trommer and Tyler Durniak make their respective debuts on life's biggest stage: Our dumb podcast. Also John wasn't here because he was busy firing people. Also the riffs were fun and dumb, the Zack Norton sketches were real weird, and we got another week's worth of Hollywood magic on tape. Dazzling! Per usual, these are first-reads of comedy sketches by people who have never seen the sketches before. Please don't fire us, John. "Wake" at 4:44 "Randall & McNally" at 13:02 "Key to the City" at 23:19 "Sainthood" at 33:38 "Around the World" at 43:23 "Blanket Statements" at 48:51 Go see Danya at Weeding Out the Stoned in Brooklyn on September 11th! Hosted by John Farrell, Thom Crowley, and Katlin McFee.

31 - "That distant mountain porno store"
Ryan Ellington takes a seat at our table of showbiz and Sean Sullivan makes his debut chronicling a legendary retirement, the trials of cooking show television, and the emasculation of a suburban homeowner. Ennui, baby! Things go off the rails almost immediately with difficulties both technical (Sean has never used a computer) and personal (Sean took the casting personally). But we prevailed! Barely! We also talk mountain sales (because of John), elder-on-elder violence (because of Zack), and a stupid piano thing (you're welcome). It was very fun, thanks to Zack Norton for the sketches, we didn't mean anything we said about you unless it was nice. As always, these are cold reads of comedy sketches by people who haver never seen the sketches before. Wow. "Press Conference" at 4:59 "Hot Chef" at 14:10 "Dirt" at 22:39 "Sales Floor" at 31:03 "Book Club" at 40:59 "Piano Bar" at 48:44 Hosted by John Farrell, Thom Crowley, and Katlin McFee.

30 - "Shut up Kristin, you're poor!"
Zach Stewart and Anthony Rinaldi are on the call sheet for some hotel lobby drama, equicide-related trauma, and an undercooked thing about slap fights. Coulda been good! This was an extremely silly time with fun anectdotes and John crashing out on character choices in real time. He's an executive, not an actor! Also sketches about shooting pool, vehicular homicide and revisiting your past. Whoa, are we network television? As always, these are sketch comedy first-reads by people who have never seen the sketches before. What a thing to do. "Hotel Lobby" at 4:38 "Never Ending Story Pt. 5" at 15:53 "Assembly" at 26:20 "Billiard Boys" at 34:33 "Accident" at 43:33 "Reunion" at 50:31 Eternal thanks to head writer Zack Norton for the sketches. Finally, someone brave enough to say that women are scary. You cowards aren't! Hosted by @john_matthew_farrell, @thomcrowley, and @katlin.mcfee, of course.

29 - "Looking for bank robber investors"
Owen Linders and Rob Crean stop by to explore publishing, the real estate market, and yet another bank robbery. What's the difference, right? Nobody answer that. Katlin wasn't around so it wasn't as fun as usual, but we still had a good time talking about credit cards, hypnotism, and the road to hell. Regular stuff! Be normal! As always, these are sketch comedy first-reads by people who have never seen the sketches before. Living cinema. So brave. "Chuck's Pitch" at 4:30 "Open House" at 14:19 "Another Job" at 23:54 "Charge Dispute" at 31:40 "Hypnotist" at 38:52 "The Ride" at 45:03 Thanks to Zack Norton for the sketches, sorry for all the disrespect, but that's the toll, baby. Hosted by @john_matthew_farrell, @thomcrowley, and not @katlin.mcfee, for once.

28 - "Six birds, but they live forever"
Cam Ohh and Kaitlin Buckley attend our clinic of being a movie star to explain fortune telling and the entire deep state. Also Cam was late lol. We also got into it about reality TV and concluded that it is actually Good, then some superhero crap from John, a cousinly disagreement, and the reality of corporate America, which is that it's good! We love it! As always, these are sketch comedy first-reads by our guests and also Katlin, and sometimes John. Wow, so brave of everyone. "Fortune Cookie" at 5:26 "Bingo" at 15:46 "Spouse or Out" at 27:20 "Superhero" at 37:35 "Holidays" at 45:16 "Busy" at 52:49 Thanks to Zack Norton and Adam Langlois for the sketches/sorry for ruining them. Better luck next time! Hosted by @john_matthew_farrell, @thomcrowley, and @katlin.mcfee.

27 - "Just smooshing"
Rob Crean (@robcrean) is back to talk death, life, and the time someone called 911 way too much. It's always a blast having this kind of superstar on the show, and John is still doing Richard Nixon stuff so stay tuned for that. There are some baseball-based enjoyments from Mr. Crean himself, and some nonsense about poker and sex. John also had a holiday sketch in the middle of summer but everyone had fun, so Hollywood wins again. The last sketch is Zack Norton's fault, which makes him history's greatest monster. As always, these are first-reads by people who have never seen the sketches before. "Death Bed" at 5:39 "Nine One One" at 16:08 "Christmas Gift" at 23:56 "Crack of the Bat" at 32:06 "Cards" at 41:27 "Pillow Talk" at 47:52 Check out the cool indie shows that Rob runs at @mendoza_comedy! Hosted by John Farrell, Thom Crowley, and Katlin McFee.

26 - "I can still meet babes platonically"
James Huessy (@jameshuessy) has returned to reminisce about comedy, life, and famous baseball underwear. We also took a trip to heaven, the top of a mountain, and a tree full of birds. Maybe all of that was the same thing. Everyone was pretty tired so it's loopy the whole way through, and Katlin roasted each of us, which was pretty fun. As for the last two sketches: Our continued, totally uncritical celebration of masculinity remains undefeated. It's good! Props to Zack Norton for writing sketches that are transcriptions of his actual conversations. Art can be anything! "Memorabilia" at 7:32 "Pearly Gates" at 16:48 "Birds" at 26:38 "Climbers" at 33:54 "BBQ" at 40:40 "Breakthrough" at 47:46 As always, these are actual cold reads by people who have never seen the sketches before. Hosted by @john_matthew_farrell, @thomcrowley, and @katlin.mcfee.

25 - "He's on a rage-focused diet"
Monica Carroll (@monica_j_carroll) makes her triumphant return and Dan Hall (@pukenightdan) makes his star-studded debut in a real barn burner of elevator madness, another Batman thing everyone was begging for, and the first steps of a true athlete. Also some great stories from Katlin and genuine, childlike wonderment from Dan the entire time. Basically it starts out off the rails, levels out, and then things really fall apart when everyone tries to be British. Then a Zoom call that scrambled everyone's brain and a thing about the railroad. Honestly in the back half, everyone kind of lost their mind. It was fun! As always, these are actual cold reads by people who have never seen the sketches before. "Elevator" at 4:35 "The Riddler Strikes Back" at 12:48 "First Steps" at 20:24 "Sword in the Stone" at 29:33 "Two Truths One Lie" at 44:22 "Railyard" at 51:16 Thanks to Zack Norton for continuing his descent into "Chat GPT but for actual, not-fake nightmares" Check out Monica and Dan's podcast "Bad Egg" and Dan's Youtube Hosted by @john_matthew_farrell, @thomcrowley, and @katlin.mcfee.

24 - "Australian God as my witness"
Raoul Biron (@raoulbiron) returns for robbery getaways, restaurant complaints and down under dining. Then we get into some classic IP conflicts, a fever dream of the olden times, and a local cable rivalry. It's pretty eventful! There's also some talk about gas stations (lame!), KENO (very cool!), and an extended digression up front about a dream Katlin had. Also too many references to Driver's Ed, but those were John's fault and we're all afraid of that guy. He's too powerful! Special thanks to Zack Norton for consistently sending me the weirdest Google Docs I've ever seen. "Bank Robbery" at 5:08 "Outback Steakhouse" at 14:37 "Film Promo" at 25:52 "French Duel" at 32:56 "Eugene & Fisk" at 42:02 "Good Samaritan" at 50:50 As always, these are actual cold reads by people who have never seen the sketches before. Hosted by @john_matthew_farrell, @thomcrowley, and @katlin.mcfee.

23 - "Salad bar asylum"
Hal Griffin (@hotdogtimemachine) returns to the table of Choices in time for a bunch of yelling and reminiscing about childhood troublemaking. She also kills it reading sketches about pranks on the high seas, pro tennis psychosis, and a restaurant for fugitives. These are all real things! There's a nice digression in the back half about a book Hal hates, and her secret theory about the author's dark secret. Plus a firefighter's sports car, schizoid therapy, and a family tearing itself apart. "Message in a Bottle" at 4:23 "Tennis Interview" at 14:13 "Emerald Thursdays" at 22:34 "Ferrari Return" at 32:04 "3AM" at 44:42 "Family Business" at 51:42 As always, these are actual cold reads by people who have never seen the sketches before. Big ups to Zack Norton for writing some of these as a part of his endless war on God. Hosted by @john_matthew_farrell, @thomcrowley, and @katlin.mcfee.

22 - "Don't worry about the delicious gasoline"
Shaun Connolly (@sirshaunconnolly) and Brandon Pires (@bpirescomedy) land on this week's call sheet, explaining electoral papacy, roast beef culture, and the soundtrack of our guilty pleasures. Also pervert snakes. Along the way, we pass through the VFW and the fast-galloping world of horse journalism. Things close out on a Zack Norton fever dream about suburban…something. It's hard to tell. Thanks, Zack! "Drinks" at 5:53 "Record Store" at 13:14 "At the Movies" at 21:57 "The Juggler at 31:23 "Transit Town Hall" at 39:11 "Maniac Raised Ranch" at 45:23 As always, these are actual cold reads by people who have never seen the sketches before. Hosted by @john_matthew_farrell, @thomcrowley, and @katlin.mcfee.

21 - "It's real for Catholics"
Zach Stewart (@zachstewartcomedy) is back to explore self expression in the medical sciences, ghostwriting for a vampire, and Sports Journalism. We also talk through our voices in performances and life but immediately get back into a sketch about Donkey Basketball, so nobody learned anything. It's always so fun when Zach comes by, and Zack with a K wrote the weirdest sketch wow who could have guessed. Also an adoption thing that's very alienating, we love family, right? "Doctor's Visit" at 7:29 "Interview with a Dracula" at 15:57 "Calling the Game" at 27:01 "Donkey Basketball" at 36:16 "Rorschach" at 45:05 "Adoption" at 51:00 Hosted by @john_matthew_farrell, @thomcrowley, and @katlin.mcfee. Props to @robcrean for writing the Dracula sketch like a king hero!

20 - "Seas were like baseball diamonds"
Rob Crean (@robcrean) and Raoul Biron (@raoulbiron) make their superstar return to relitigate a 90s movie, steal some cash, and ruin a museum tour. There's also some chat about haunted houses and Pilot Charisma but who isn't talking about that these days. Then a bunch of troops, some strip mall shenanigans, and a sketch about sea captains falling apart so hard that Katln and I cried laughing. Living cinema! "Stella" at 5:49 "Bank Job" at 17:31 "Dinosaurs" at 25:08 "Boot Camp" at 31:48 "Psychic" at 41:52 "Flotsam Jetsam" at 49:57 As always, these are actual cold reads by people who have never seen the sketches before. Shoutout and sorry to Zack Norton for writing the opener and closer. We ruined them! Hosted by @john_matthew_farrell, @thomcrowley, and @katlin.mcfee.
