In the God's framework, there is a purpose for all things. Either a type, a shadow, a reason or rhyme in each story. Quite often, God uses these themes and patterns throughout the Bible to showcase His plan and ultimately His goal. In this episode we look at the type of Christ in the Old Testament to understand the reasoning behind the redemptive plan of God. We see through the story of Ruth, and other elements of the Bible, the reason behind why it had to be Jesus Christ who came as the kinsman redeemer.
