The Poison of Words: Slander and Gossip Online
In this episode we look at what a slanderer and gossip are and how they are harmful to our daily walk with Christ. We ought to be careful to not slander others. Far too often we catch ourselves saying things about people that may or may not be true, and if it is not true then we are slandering an individual in a way that is not honoring to Christ.

From Isolation to Brotherhood
Vulnerability is tough, but it is through being vulnerable is where we can find the strongest bond between humans. Imitation Game: The Secret to Having Good Kids
"Be imitators of me, as I imitate Christ" these are Paul's words to the Corinthian Church. The words are simple, yet impactful. Our kids will imitate us, whether we like it or not, and it is through that imitation that they will build their own character. Like the Apostle Paul, we too will influence our kids to where they will imitate us. We have to make sure that we imitate a good character so that our kids do the same. And when we fall short of having a good character, we acknowledge that to our kids too.

Identity Crisis: Creating God in Our Image
In America so many Christians have flipped the script. We make everything so political, that we have lost the center of it all: The Triune God. So many of us do not study theology anymore, and we make excuses for it. But it is the study of theology that will help us realign ourselves with the truth: this world does not need politics, it needs the gospel.

Respect: Give it and It Will Be Earned
"Respect isn't given, it is earned" is a modern day mantra in the US, but biblically speaking respect is something that is gained from us giving it. Respect is something that all men desire to have from their peers, and it can be obtained by not listening to the world, but by listening to Jesus. Matthew 7:12 says, "So in everything, do unto others as you would have them do unto you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." We treat others how we want to be treated, this is the way.

The Price of Pride
In this episode, we dive into the powerful tension between pride and humility through the lens of Luke 18:18–24—the story of the rich ruler who walked away from Jesus. What was he really holding onto? Why is pride so subtle, especially when we think we’re doing everything right? We’ll also explore wisdom from Proverbs that exposes how pride can quietly take root in our hearts, even in seasons of success or religious devotion. This is a heart-check conversation for anyone chasing comfort, control, or status—because Jesus still says, “You still lack one thing.” Let’s talk about what it really means to let go, follow Him fully, and walk the humble path that leads to life.

Raising Kids in Church vs. Raising Kids in Christ
In this weeks episode, I really try to focus in on the importance of raising our kids to become a Christian vs. raising them thinking they are already a christian. If they know the difference, that makes all the difference. Treat them like unbelievers, tell them about Jesus, live like you love Jesus, and pray with and for them.

Your Kid's Character is a Reflection of you.
The Bible and life attest to the FACT that your kids are like you or your spouse. All the negative traits you see in your kids is typically a negative trait that is found in you. Kind, but not gentle, parenting
Gentle Parenting is a parenting style that is being prompted by the culture and rejected by the church as a whole. I don't go into gentle parenting in this episode, I mainly focus on the importance of a father and how we, as men, ought to be raising our kids the way that Paul says in Ephesians 6:4. I hope this episode is a blessing to you!

Secrets to a Happy Marriage
The title is misleading, because it isn't a secret. A happy marriage starts when you decide to love your wife the way Christ lived the church. Once we love our wives sacrificially, our marriage will be a happy one.

Sensuality to Purity
Sensuality is the root behind impurity in the Christian life. We must fight for purity because in turn we are fighting for our Christian walk, our marital relationship, our children, and our friendships. Consequences to sin last a life time, and sin, like adultery, does not happen in a moment, it is a process that we must be able to see and stop. We stop it by relying on the Spirit of God to work in our hearts and minds.

In this episode I share why I think it is important for us as men to be Godly above all else. The culture of today is to be an Alpha male, but I don't even know if anyone can truly tell me what that means. I think as christians we should look to be Godly and not alpha. Hope you tune in next week to hear what it means to be a Godly man.

Pursue Marriage
He who finds a wife finds a good thing! What a hard statement when it comes to those who are single. When you're single, you are trying to find a wife. How to Understand your Wife...
Yes, the title is a bit misleading. Because understanding your wife will always be a work in progress, but I hope this episode can be a help to get some of us on the right track of how we ought to at least attempt to understand the person God has chosen to be our other half. I hope this episode is of some benefit and sanctification for you!

Narcissistic Bible Reading
We often read the Bible expecting God to do these major things for us while reading or maybe we can find ourself in the story that will magically help us fix our life. Well, the Bible is not about you or me. the Bible is about a Holy God who has chosen to show how he has worked in history to redeem a particular people unto himself. I hope this episode is encouraging to kick off the new year.

The King's Daddy

Don't Be a Fool!
Do not be a fool, and follow God! Listen to the wise words of Solomon and not the foolish words of the sinners that we often come across. Life will through many things at us, and it is up to us how we are going to respond to those obstacles, and the Proverbs provide us a road map that can lead us down a road of peace and abundance. Let us find that path and take it!

A Thankful Heart
What kind of kids are we intending to raise: thankful kids or ungrateful kids? We all tend to complain and be unthankful for the blessings we have, but unfortunately our kids will mimic what we say and do. So as Christians, we must always be thankful...primarily because of our salvation, but also because God has blessed us with many reasons to be thankful. Let us, as parents, choose wisely.

The Blessed Man
Are you a blessed man? Well, I hope the answer is yes. The blessed man is one who delights in the law of God and abides in his word. I have a challenge for you this week, memorize Psalm 1:1-2 with me so that we can work towards being a blessed man who is influenced by the word of God and not the world. I hope this episode is a blessing to you.

Disciple your Kids
The Shema is an important part of the Hebrew scriptures. It is also very important when it comes to parenting. Deuteronomy 6 is a passage that encourages every parent not only to teach our kids, but to be so full of God's word that we will naturally teach them out of love and respect for God. I hope this episode is a delight, joy, and encouragement for you.

God and Government
How should a Christian view the government? And why is this being discussed on a podcast for dads? In this episode of The Dad Life, Manuel explain the importance of government and how we should teach our kids what the Bible says about them. All of this stems from the recent presidential election here in the US. I hope this episode is a blessing.

They Call Me Dad
Parenting is fun and hard all at the same time. But one thing that is important is to understand that we, as fathers, must discipline our kids. God tells us that kids ought to obey their parents, well they will obey if we can lovingly discipline when they do not obey. I hope this episode was helpful to you dads out there and always feel free to reach out!
