Can you hear it? Can you hear that still small voice calling to you? At one point in my life, I was woken up in the early morning by the sound of my name being called. The voice seemed familiar and at first it sounded like that of my sister Kay. Kay has always had a sweet sounding voice. This voice sounded almost like what I would picture an angel would sound like. It was sweet and pure. The voice was calling “Joe” “Joe” as if gently waking me up. Then I realized that it was the Lord calling me.

I said it was a funny video until I heard that he used the Lord’s name in vain, meaning that he cursed God. The woman said she never heard that!

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.  For the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.

There is a verse in the Bible that many people use as an excuse or cliché, in order to minimize sin and unrighteousness. Many people will quote this verse in defense of ungodly actions. The verse is so overused for this excuse that the meaning has been distorted.

On a side note, while taping this segment, a severe thunderstorm had just blown through. I started the recording and about half way through, it started to rain hard again. I stopped and immediately prayed for God to dissipate the storm and almost immediately, it stopped raining hard. That is my God. He came through pretty fast. Praise God!

This Podcast is about the days leading to Jesus arrest and crucifixion. It is my hope and prayer that this week, those of you who do not truly know Jesus, that you will make a decision to follow Him.

As I am walking around town, I see dead people everywhere. They are in the stores and on the streets. They are everywhere! Many times, other people do not realize they are seeing them as well, but they are there. The people themselves may not realize that they are dead, but they are. They are like the walking dead. This scene sounds like the script of the movie “The Sixth Sense,” or “The Walking Dead,” but there are people that truly are dead men walking in their sin.
