As the Lord has met our greatest need in salvation, we can rest in the Lord knowing He will supply for our physical needs. The times of trouble and stress should not shake us, for he will meet our needs according to His riches. 

Partnering with the gospel in missions allows each giver to have fruit to their account. As we seek to share the gospel where each of us are physically, our gospel partnerships are helpful abroad. May we give sacrificially to advance the gospel. 

The world pushes constant negativity onto society, yet it was Paul who wrote encouraging the Philippian believers that he had been divinely empowered to do all things through Christ. We should be encouraged that we are empowered to accomplish the will of God in our lives. 

In seasons of plenty and seasons of poverty, Paul teaches us that he learned a to be content. While the Philippians were ministers to him, likely in a monetary way, he learned to be grateful for everything in every season of life.

Practicing the presence of God and His imminent return is the great encouragement to each believer, for it is important for us to realize these truths as we seek to be gentle toward all men.

Paul was warning two ladies to avoid division, so they could band together for the gospel's sake. It is the Lord's desire for each of us to be unified co-laborers for Christ's sake today?

In world where fads come and go very fast, we are called to be unmoveable. Paul encourages us in Philippians 4 to stand up for Jesus. May we resolve to stand firm!

Healthy desires are a wonderful thing, and Paul lays down a clear distinction of what he desired because he had not arrived as a Christian. Will we accept his challenge or think we have arrived?

In a day where the shiny easily distracts us, Paul encourages each of us to be careful who we allow influence us. If we are to please the Lord, let it not be the flesh that we rest in but rather Christ.

Everyone of us needs a friend or two that pour into us. On the other side, each one of us should desire to pour into others. Will we be a refresher as a friend? 

We find Timothy here being mentioned as a worthy example for each of us to follow. As believers, we should be the type of person not seeking credit but seeking to be a helping hand. 

Each of us desires to live a life of joy; as a result, Paul encourages us to pour out our lives as a sacrifice for Christ. Would we be the generation to present ourselves and put our all on the altar? 

Our world needs a revival amongst believers. Instead of grumbling and arguing our way to the end, each of us must set out to stay true to the Word of God as happy soldiers in this wicked world we are living in.

God's plan for our life is to grow each of us to be more like Christ, but we should not be passive in our desire to grow closer to the Lord. May each of us set out to "work out our own salvation?"

In life, we are faced with the opportunity to procrastinate in many areas of life. What we put off will eventually come due, and in our lives, we can choose to make our choice and bow now willingly or later by obligation at the name of Jesus.

Christ laid down the example for each of us to follow. To follow in the steps of the Saviour, we must see what steps He took, and while this step is easy to say, it is the most needed for each of us. Would we set out to take the most needed next step to accomplish God's will for our lives?

In the pleasure seeking world we are living in, may we seek to put others before ourselves. Paul desired for the Philippians to avoid disunity, and to accomplish it through the unity and humility of each believer.

Difficulties have a way of revealing our faith or the lack there of, but we must choose to joyfully remain faithful till the end. It is a privilege to be counted worthy to identify with Christ sufferings. Resolve now to stay committed til the end.

It is not unusual to struggle when there is disunity on a team. Paul encourages us to continue to remain in step with our fellow believers unified for the gospel's sake.

Just as Paul, we all have a critical choice to make. Will we live with selfless faith or selfish faith? It is needful for each of us to grow in our faith and joy, but will we pass it on?

Paul gave a valuable lesson each of us can learn from. What is our goal? Whether it be in life or death, Christ should be made much of in our lives.

Things may not always work to our ideal circumstances, but like Paul, we can be grateful for an advancing Gospel. May every opportunity be a gospel opportunity.

We are called to bear fruit, and it is important for us to live intentionally knowing they come from Christ. Also, they are for Christ. Will we live for Christ and Christ alone today?

Paul's prayer for the Philippians powerfully reminds us to consider ourselves. Are we growing? May each of us all live doing what is best each day.

With our confidence often being placed in other things, we must realign with the One who is doing the work in us. Friend, know the Lord is doing a work in each of our lives, and we can be confident it will be completed. 

In Philippians, we find Paul writing to the dear folk in Philippi from prison. This church was very dear to Paul, and he found great joy thinking of them and praying for them. Who can we pray for today?

Jesus begins teaching about stewardship, and as Christians, it is very important that each of us steward what we have for the Lord. Will we let our gifts rule us or use them for Christ?

The Lord has given each of us gifts and talents. Just as the steward was given the rich man's money to help build wealth, we have been given talents to use for God's benefit. Are we stewarding well?

The third and last parable Jesus gives in Luke 15 deals with the prodigal son. Will you join us in seeing two wonderful applications from this amazing parable?

In the second parable in Luke 15, Jesus reveals the carelessness in losing the coin. In our haste, are we becoming careless? Sometimes the dust and dirt can blind us from seeing what is worthy of being found. 

In the first of Jesus' three parables, he uses a lost sheep as an example. There is a three fold joy when a lost sinner is found. Will you join us in learning the joy that found in seeing sinners come to Christ.

The call to each each believer is clear from Jesus' teaching. If we desire to be a disciple, there is a cost. Are we willing to look forward to see the cost, and pay the price of being a disciple?

Jesus continued teaching that there is a supper ready, yet those that had committed to attend had excuses to not come. With the things ready and room available, the message was made clear to the servants: fill the house.

Following Jesus silencing the crowd, Jesus uses a parable about a wedding warning of self promotion. In our modern world, will we past the test of humility or will we experience humiliation?

Jesus healed again on the Sabbath day, and it was clear that the Pharisees were looking to catch Jesus up. As Jesus let the man with the dropsy go after he was healed, Jesus silences the critics. Which crowd will we be in?

The Pharisees pretended to care about Jesus, and in response, Jesus gives a hearty indictment on the nation of Israel while revealing His mission going forward. Will we be mission minded?

Jesus taught as he was on His way to Jerusalem that we need to enter into the strait gate. Inevitably, there will be some that think they will be in Heaven, yet Jesus taught some unlikely people would be there.

In two brief parables, Jesus teaches us some of the trouble that will come. We must be carful to discern some of the problematic areas of our day. 

Jesus healed on the Sabbath to reveal the deeper issue than the chronic illness. Often we get distracted and misplace our compassion, but Christ helps us see what is important.

The Lord has blessed every person with different gifts and talents. It is important that each of us understand our role in using the gifts the each of us has been given.

The second coming of Christ can often be confusing, yet Jesus teaches a few tips till He returns regardless of the time. Let us go forward understanding that we are to be mindful while we wait for His coming.
