The Dashamahavidyas
by Subhrajit Roychowdhury
The Dasamahavidya are the ten great wisdom goddesses who represent the ten Mahavidyas of Sati. Each of the ten forms of the Dasamahavidya is believed to have their own separate consort or Bhairava that should be worshipped alongside them, typically to the right of the goddess. Although each of the Dasamahavidya has an individual form and significance, they are not usually worshipped together.
