Ep 8 - NEW YEAR'S SPECIAL - Hobbies and Rest are NOT Sins

Hobbies and rest are NOT sins. It's obvious, but Christians can often feel guilt when they aren't working. It is easy to believe that following God is to sacrifice fun. But there is more to faithfulness than efficiency and productivity. Listen in to Hogan and Rebecca's conversation as they unpack what it means to prioritize non-work activities as citizens of the Kingdom of God. To support the ministries that Hogan and Rebecca are a part of, go to ivcf.ca/donate and donate to "Alberta Conference and Events." Donating here will help subsidize costs for students to attend InterVarsity retreats and events. Donations to other InterVarsity funds are also welcome!

  2. 7

Ep 7 - CHRISTMAS SPECIAL - Earthly vs Heavenly Homes and Family

It can be hard to pinpoint what a home is. Is it a house? Is a place where we feel settled? Perhaps it is family. But what about when family dynamics are complicated? Home can be hard to define because nothing we find on Earth can truly be our home. As Christians, we look forward to the establishment of the New Heaven and the New Earth, but still need to figure out how what it means to live in our temporary homes. Join Hogan and Rebecca as they dive into these questions.   To support the ministries that Hogan and Rebecca are a part of, go to ivcf.ca/donate and donate to "Alberta Conference and Events." Donating here will help subsidize costs for students to attend InterVarsity retreats and events. Donations to other InterVarsity funds are also welcome!

  3. 6

Ep 6 - Radical Hospitality And Burnout

Is hospitality merely service to others? Does avoiding burnout mean vegging at the end of the day and taking a day off? What is the relationship between hospitality and burnout? Join Hogan, Rebecca, and Schubert as the explore these questions and more. To support the ministries that Hogan and Rebecca are a part of, go to ivcf.ca/donate and donate to "Alberta Conference and Events." 4. 5

Ep 5 - Identifying Your Identity

Identity is a hot topic in evangelical churches—and for good reason. Everything we do and believe stems from our identities. It is also an increasingly debated topic. Who decides who you are? Is your identity found within you or external to you? Is it based on what you do? Join Hogan, Rebecca, and Schubert as they talk about these questions and how they have discovered what it means to lean into one’s identity in Christ. To support the ministries that Hogan and Rebecca are a part of, go to ivcf.ca/donate and donate to "Alberta Conference and Events." Donating here will help subsidize costs for students to attend InterVarsity retreats and events. Donations to other InterVarsity funds are also welcome!

Ep 4 - How Often Should People Date? Answer: A Lot

Hogan brings a hot take to the table, saying that people should go on dates more often. Why does he think this? Join us to hear his answer, and to hear him discuss its validity with Rebecca and Schubert. Ep 3 - Christian Community—You Need It

Today, we talk about why Christians value community—that is, time spent in fellowship with others. Join us as we talk about some of the unique ways people have discovered community, what draws people to community, and why regular engagement with community is necessary regardless of where we are in life.
