James Gerber- Luke 7: 11-17, Genesis 16:1-15 reveal to us that we have a God who sees! We see throughout scripture a God who has a bent toward those who are on the margins and he is committed to bringing those who are on the margins back into community and into the family of God. Not only that; but, hw wants us to participate with him to bring this about!

James Gerber- Luke 4:16-28 & Luke 7:11-17 reveal to us that Jesus' desire for his disciples is that they would be a people full of compassion. As James dives in he explores and nuances sympathy, empathy & compassion and their importance as we bear witness to a watching world.
