    Easter Day

One moment, all is normal. The next, everything is lost. In the bewildering blink of an eye, gone. The Christ who delighted, who thrilled, who loved, is dead. And then, somehow, he isn’t. It’s over, and then it’s not. It is finished, and then... well, you get my drift. This Holy Week, I want to spend time reflecting on the final chapters of Mark’s Gospel, and I’d love you to join me. This will not be polished production. I simply want to process and learn, with friends old and new, something fresh of what it all might mean, particularly for those for whom faith or church has become a struggle. If that is you, all is not lost. If Calvary tells us anything, it is that however dark and desperate things may appear, our heavenly Father’s love and power are enough to turn them around. It was true at Calvary, it has been true through two thousand years of church history, and it is still true today, in your life and mine.Join me this Palm Sunday as we set out on an Easter walk to hell and back, and to life again.
