#20 Elevating Your Perspective When You're Feeling Stuck
This episode is part of the P.E.A.C.E. framework — simple, Christ-centered practices to help you walk in peace in your body, soul, and home. Today we’re focusing on the “E” in P.E.A.C.E.: Elevate your perspective & explore possibilities. When you feel stuck in a circumstance… When negative thoughts start swirling… When you’re tempted to stop doing the work God has given you… The shift doesn’t begin by controlling your situation. It begins by lifting your eyes. In this episode, we talk about what it means to elevate your perspective to God for a true perspective shift. Not ignoring reality. Not pretending things aren’t hard. But anchoring yourself in heaven’s view so you can recognize your assignment and refuse to come down from it — just like Nehemiah. And if you’re ready to go deeper into the full P.E.A.C.E. framework and learn how to walk this out in your body, soul, and home, grab a copy of my book, The Pace of Peace.

We will Pause & Pray when we feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or spiritually tired. Referencing Matthew 22:37–39, we Pause, BE in our bodies, and pray to the one who we do desire to love with all our heart, mind and soul. #16 With Peace, We are Strong in Self-Control
In today’s episode, I’m getting real about something I know so many of us struggle with: self-control, fasting, and actually doing the thing God asked us to do. I share about how I absolutely struggled to follow the prompt to submit my flesh in fasting. It is in the midst of our weakness that the Lord meets us. If you’ve ever felt frustrated because you “should be further along” or you keep failing in the same area, you’re in good company. This episode is a reminder that our strength never comes from us anyway. It’s Jesus. Every single time. And even when we feel weak or inconsistent, He is steady, strong, and faithful. We talk through what it looks like to have peace rooted in Christ instead of trying to muscle our way through self-control. You’ll hear how His peace is what sustains and strengthens us to walk in obedience—without shame, striving, or pretending. Key takeaway:With Peace (Christ Himself), we are strong in self-control. ✨ If you haven’t already, pre-order my book The Pace of Peace and grab your free bonuses!Use this link here to decide where you would like to purchase it and fill out the form for your bonus downloads!
