We dive into the highs and lows of the fifth annual Nish Invitational golf tournament held at Worsley Park Golf Club, where twelve players battled Singapore-like heat, competitive tension, and occasional controversy.• Custom welcome packs including personalised Titleist Pro V1 balls, tees, ball markers, and divot tools set the tone for a special day• Extreme heat forced even the most traditional golfers to break their own rules and wear shorts• Worsley Park proves the perfect venue with its playable course, practice facilities, and communal spaces• Nearest to pin competition created drama when one player celebrated too early only to be beaten by mere inches• The competition format using Squabbit tracking included a hidden leaderboard after hole 15 for added suspense• Paul's controversial practice round the week before became a running joke throughout the day• Debates over gimme putts showed the friendly but competitive nature of the group• Players universally enjoyed the experience despite varied performances on the courseWe're already planning next year's event which promises to be even bigger with more participants and potentially some format adjustments.
