    Ch8: I Stole a Jacket, flew off a Horse & Almost Died

I disobeyed my mama, stole my stepdad’s favorite jacket, and ended up face-down bleeding in the snow in the Black Hills of South Dakota. All because I had a horse, an icy road, and absolutely zero sense. This is Chapter 8 — Ice, Blood, and Death’s Door. It’s the story of how teenage rebellion nearly took me out, why God’s plans survive our worst decisions, and what Jeremiah 29:11 sounds like when you’re flat on your back staring up at a white sky wondering if anybody’s coming. Spoiler: somebody always is.Get the book unboxing Blu hereListen to the audible version hereJoin me on TikTokJoin me on Instagram See what’s happening on the YouTube

Ch2: help from ai…gravity and grace summed up

Y’all. Toss me some grace on this one. My honey bunny husband man had some fun with NotebookLM. So these voices aren’t mine….obviously….yet it’s interesting when he gave my chapter 2 of my unboxing Blu book as a source this is what they spit out as a podcast episode talking about my book. I enjoyed hearing someone else’s take on my writing and story and I hope you’ll enjoy as well. Get the book here. CH7:: brokenness ain’t the end of it.

Y’all. This one hit different when I recorded it.Chapter 7 isn’t my funniest chapter. It isn’t my lightest one. But I believe with everything in me that it might be somebody’s most needed one.I take you back to 14-year-old Blu — a caged bird with no hope, no freedom, and no idea that the God of the universe even knew her name. I share what brought me to the front door of my house with every intention of ending my life. And I don’t say that lightly. Not even a little bit.But here’s what I know now that I didn’t know then — the enemy doesn’t come after nothing. He comes after something. And honey, he saw something in you worth destroying. That’s actually the compliment of a lifetime. There is hope. There has always been hope. And His name is Jesus. If you’re in the dark right now, or you love someone who is — this episode is for you. Grab some tissues, give yourself some grace, and let’s unbox this thing together.(And yes, I still do weird voices even in the heavy chapters. You’re just gonna have to love me anyway.)Unboxing Blu. CH6: get yo words right sis.

Y’all, pull up a chair — or maybe a pool float — because we are going OUT to the good stuff today. Chapter 6 of Unboxing Blu is all about healing words, and honey, this might just be my favourite chapter in the whole book. We’re talking about that tiny little muscle in your mouth that holds the power of life and death. Proverbs 18:21 is NOT playing around, and neither am I. Because what you’ve been chewing on? What you’ve been meditating on? That’s exactly what’s coming out — and it’s either planting flowers or growing weeds in the garden of your heart. We dig into the wild snowflake experiment by Dr. Masaru Emoto, why repentance is actually your superpower (not your punishment), and I share some of the declarations I speak over my own life — because, friend, your words over yourself matter just as much as the ones you speak over others. And if you’ve never received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour? Y’all, that’s the real headline of this episode. You don’t need me, you don’t need this book, you don’t even need to put on shoes. Just go to Him right now. The angels are literally throwing a party every time somebody says yes.Grab the book 👇 (paperback OR audible — you do you, boo.)🔗 [Unboxing Blu: Breaking Free from Boxes into Brilliance]Here’s the audible version for your ears.

Ch5: Words That Boxed Me Up (And How I Busted Out)

Y’all. This one got real.In this episode, I’m walking through Chapter 5 of Unboxing Blu — “Words That Break” — and I’m not gonna sugarcoat it. I talk about my daddy. About the night I asked him if he loved me… and the silence that followed was louder than anything he could’ve said.He told me I’d end up in prison. Barefoot and pregnant at 16. That I was just like him, and there was no way around it.Hate to spoil the ending: he was wrong. But those words? They planted themselves deep. And maybe you’ve got some planted in you too — words from someone who was supposed to love you well but didn’t quite know how. Here’s one thing I’ve learned. The enemy uses words as weapons. But God? He’s all about uprooting the weeds and chaos that was never meant to grow in your heart garden. We talk Proverbs 18:21, rewiring your brain, speaking life over yourself, and yes — I yawn on my own podcast. Glitterally. No apologies.Grab the book, grab some grace, and let’s get unboxed together.🎙️ Share this with somebody who needs a little unboxing — and maybe a good laugh too.Get the“unboxing Blu” on Amazon here…Get the audible version here if you’d rather me read it to you, voices n all! Power of Going Back to Love Better: Ch4 wrapup

It’s another late-night recording—this time from a quiet hotel room on the road back to Nashville—and Blu Wyatt is still sitting in Chapter 4… still wrestling, still laughing, still learning. What starts as a reflection on a tiny town in Iowa turns into something deeper: a realization that sometimes the most powerful growth happens when you slow down, go back, and really see people again. The ones you forgot, the ones you misunderstood, and even the ones who hurt you. This episode is a mix of humor, humility, and heart—stories from the farm, awkward hugs with strangers, hard conversations, and small moments that carry big meaning. Blu unpacks what it looks like to actually listen, to choose kindness over reaction, and to love people without knowing what they’re carrying. It’s a reminder that healing doesn’t always come in big breakthroughs… sometimes it’s in quiet moments, changed responses, and softened hearts. If you’ve ever felt too busy, too hurt, or too disconnected to go back and make things right—or simply show up differently—this episode will nudge you. Not with pressure, but with perspective. Because maybe growth looks like less talking, more listening… less judging, more loving… and trusting that even the smallest shifts can change everything.Grab the book unboxing Blu hereOr listen to the audible version here

Unfinished, Unfiltered, and Still Worth Sharing…still chapter 4

It’s nearly midnight in a tiny Iowa town, and Blu Wyatt hits record—not because everything is polished, but because it’s not. Unboxing Blu, is the book she’s already published. Now she finds herself questioning it all… the book, the message, even her own voice. What unfolds is part storytelling, part laughter-through-tears, part honest reckoning with the past—family, memories, old wounds, and the unexpected ways God shows up right in the middle of it all. This episode isn’t cleaned up or curated—it’s real. It’s what it sounds like when someone is walking through growth, not talking about it after the fact. If you’ve ever felt messy, unsure, or like you didn’t quite get it right… this one will hit home. Because maybe the point isn’t perfection—maybe it’s showing up anyway, letting God do the work, and trusting that even the imperfect parts of your story can still set someone free.Tell your story. Share the messy bits too. It’ll help someone else walking through their own mess. Get the book. Paperback version here Get the audible version here

Spiders, Melatonin & Miracles…a night on the farm

It’s midnight. Three melatonin deep. Surrounded by spiders and the company of God. Maybe trying to make up for the fact that chapter 4 of her book unboxing Blu fell OH SO flat and it’s easier to speak in 3rd person than admit she’s jacked up her first publication…whatever. Blu is recording from a farmhouse on her last night alone — no microphone, no plan, no script. Just a woman in the dark, too tired to pretend and too full not to talk. What starts as a sleepy, unfiltered ramble turns into something you didn’t know you needed to hear tonight. She talks about waking up at 2 a.m. to write down a country song she can’t share yet. She talks about spiders in palaces and dead flies she forgot to vacuum. And then — almost by accident — she starts rattling off miracles.Healed feet. A fused spine that almost left her paralyzed from the waist down. Twenty-two years of chronic leg pain, gone. Bipolar. Hypoglycemia. A bunion that finally let her put her cowboy boots back on.This episode is equal parts sleepy, silly, and spiritually serious — because healing is real, faith is a muscle, and sometimes God wakes you up before 2 a.m. just to remind you He’s still working. If you’re lying awake tonight needing a miracle — this one’s for you.

    Ch4: where the boxing started

Y’all… this one’s a little late-night, a little unfiltered, and honestly just me sitting with the Lord and letting it flow. We’re diving into Chapter 4 — “3 Worlds, One Tiny Town” from Unboxing Blu, and somehow I’m recording this from a hotel room on my way back to that very town in Iowa. Tell me God doesn’t have a sense of humor. This episode isn’t polished. It’s stories, memories, a little rambling, a little laughter, and a whole lot of heart. Farm life, family, growing up between different worlds… and realizing maybe I didn’t even tell half of it the first time around. But more than that, it’s about slowing down… sitting in the quiet… and asking God what He wants to do next. Not just in my life—but in yours too.If you’ve ever felt like you’re still being “unboxed”… like there’s more layers, more healing, more purpose ahead… this one’s for you.Come hang out with me for a bit. It’s imperfect, it’s real, and it’s full of grace. Here’s the book if ya wanna grab it. Unboxing Blu in paper Unboxing Blu in audible

S1E10: Pretty Ain’t Gonna Cut It Sis

Y’all, this one is a little all over the place in the best kind of way — part scripture, part encouragement, part prayer, and fully from the heart. In this episode of the Unboxing Podcast, I circle back to something I meant to share from the last conversation about Chapter 3 of Unboxing Blu and the “ugly duckling” story. We talk about Proverbs 31:30 — “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised” — and why that truth matters so much when you’ve spent years feeling boxed in by insecurity, labels, fear, or other people’s opinions. This episode is also a reminder that God is still unboxing all of us. Sometimes slowly. Sometimes gently. Sometimes right in the middle of chaos, storms, warnings, and all the noise around us. But through it all, He is faithful, He is near, and He is always calling us closer. If you’ve been feeling stuck, limited, overwhelmed, or like you’re still figuring it all out, this episode is for you. We’re talking about identity, obedience, healing, freedom, the power of God’s Word, and learning to rest safely in the arms of the Father. It’s real, imperfect, prayerful, and full of hope.In this episode, we talk about: • Proverbs 31:30 and true beauty • Letting God unbox the places you’ve been stuck • Why your obedience may help unlock freedom for someone else • Finding peace in the middle of life’s storms • The comfort, truth, and safety found in God’s WordCome listen in, be encouraged, and maybe share this one with a friend who needs a little hope today.Get the book unboxing Blu Listen on audible

    Ch3: ugly duckling: unboxing Blu

I’m opening up Chapter 3 of Unboxing Blu — the chapter called “Ugly Duckling.” And let me tell you something… rereading my own words has me realizing God is still unboxing things in my heart that I barely even touched on in the book.I share a bit about growing up as the tall, awkward, gangly girl who never quite fit in — the new kid, the tomboy with dirt under her nails, buck teeth, and more insecurities than confidence. But this isn’t really about the teasing or the pain from the past. It’s about the realization God gave me while writing this chapter:Nothing is wasted.Every awkward season, every lonely moment, every hurtful word — God has a way of redeeming it. Sometimes He takes us back into those memories to heal them. Other times He simply removes the sting. And somehow, in His upside-down kingdom, the overlooked and rejected pieces of our story become the very things He uses for His glory. This episode is a little storytelling, a little laughter, a little prayer, and a whole lot of honesty as we talk about healing, grace, and how God meets us right in the middle of our mess.If you’ve ever felt like the ugly duckling, this one’s for you.And remember:God wastes nothing. Not even the hardest parts of your story.Get the audible book:Get the actual paper book:

    S1E8: The Caution Tape Chronicles

Y’all this week been explosive on many levels. I want so much to simply be fully cooperative with all God is doing and wants to do through me. Wow it’s kinda raw to share this but while I only have those 2 followers I thought Auntie and Mama could handle it. 🤪 I love growing and realizing I have so far to go. And I’m loved in my journey—as are you!

    S1E7: rest unboxing

Rest isn’t weakness—it’s obedience, healing, and trust. In this episode of The Unboxing Podcast, I unpack the box of rest and why it’s been one of the hardest unboxings of my life. From hustling, overworking, and arguing with God about slowing down, to learning what true rest looks like for the body, mind, and soul, this episode invites you to rethink what rest really means.Through Scripture, personal stories, and real struggle, we explore why God commands rest, how Sabbath restores us, and how resting isn’t quitting—it’s recalibrating.Inspired by my book Unboxing Blu, this episode is for anyone who feels weary, driven, overloaded, or unsure how to stop long enough to breathe. This is your permission to lay it down—and rest in Him.

    S1E5: grace unboxing

This episode landed different for a reason. We flipped the box. Five represents grace and I just turned 50 and it’s the 5th day of the month while we bust out with episode 5. This cannot be made up! So today we’re unboxing the gift of grace. Jesus paid for it so we didn’t have to strive for it. Unmerited favor coming our way. Help we didn’t earn. This episode is not even close to all there is to say about grace or jubilee but i hope to touch on the topic to draw you in and unboxing with you this fantastic topic.

    S1E4: Forgiveness unboxing

Forgiveness is powerful—but it’s not easy.In this episode of The Unboxing Podcast, I unpack forgiveness as a process, not a moment, and how unforgiveness can quietly keep us stuck in the past.In this episode, we explore: • Why forgiveness is essential for freedom • How unforgiveness creates emotional and spiritual “stuckness” • Forgiving deep wounds, trauma, and repeat offenses • Why forgiveness doesn’t always mean reconciliation • Letting God heal what you cannot fix on your ownRooted in Scripture and personal story— including a hard journey of forgiving my father—this episode invites you to ask God to lead the unboxing, at His pace, with His grace.Inspired by my book Unboxing Blu, this unboxing is for anyone carrying unresolved hurt, bitterness, or pain—and longing for true freedom.

  21. 8

    S1E3: stink attitudes unboxing

Bad attitudes don’t just show up out of nowhere — they grow in the boxes we stay stuck in.In this episode of The Unboxing Podcast, I get honest about grumbling, complaining, pain, pride, and the everyday moments where attitude becomes a choice. From real-life stories to Scripture, this episode unpacks how what we focus on, what we speak, and what we agree with shapes our mindset — especially in hard seasons. This isn’t about pretending life doesn’t hurt. It’s about choosing perspective, responsibility, and grace while God continues the unboxing process. If you’ve been tempted to complain, shut down, or stay stuck — this one’s for you.

  22. 7

    S1E2: stuckness unboxing

Feeling stuck doesn’t mean you’re broken—it usually means something needs to be unboxed. In this episode of The Unboxing Podcast, I talk about what stuckness really is, why it shows up, and how to begin moving forward without having everything figured out. This isn’t about forcing change—it’s about recognizing what’s been holding you in place and taking the next honest step.If you’ve been waiting for clarity, motivation, or permission… this episode is for you.
