    Four Ls For 2024

It's our first episode of 2024 and we are excited to be back in the studio together!! Your co-host Enid Tchir & LaToya Massey reflect on 2023 sharing life lessons and scriptures that we've carried in our hearts as a result! We discuss 4 Ls as we enter 2024 that can help us remember what God has done while rooting us in Him for what's to come. There are many meaningful topics and inspiring guests lined up for Season 2 of The Well so follow and subscribe! We look forward to continuing our journey together with you! EXAMEN PRAYER (Reflection with God at the end of the day) Take a moment to become aware of God's love for you even before you begin Ask God for light. To see with his eyes, not your own. Ask for the Spirit to search you (Ps. 139) so that this examen will be a work of his grace, fruitful beyond your human capacity. Give thanks. The last 24 hours was a gift from God. Think of something from the past day that you felt was a blessing or gift from God. Savor it.   Review your last 24 hours. Look for the stirrings in your heart. What do you feel was from God and what was not. How did you respond to what happened throughout the day?  Potential questions to ask yourself to get the juices flowing: For what moment today am I most grateful? Least grateful? When did I give and receive the most love today? When did I give and receive the least love today? What was the most life-giving part of my day? What was the most life-thwarting part of my day? When today did I have the deepest sense of connection with God, others, myself?  When today did I have the least sense of connection? Where was I aware of living out of the fruit of the Spirit? Where was there an absence of the fruit of the Spirit? Of all that happened, what did you respond most strongly to and how did you respond (anger, joy, delight, confusion, frustration, sorrow, etc...? With God, lean into it. Don't try to edit what you were feeling or make them more acceptable. Offer the feelings up to God. Talk to him about them. Try to understand your response as if you're hearing God say: "I'd like to be with you in that reaction you had."   Face your shortcomings or sins. Ask for forgiveness and for God to show you how you can grow and mature. ("Lead me in the way everlasting." Ps. 139)   Look toward the day to come. With God, plan how to live in accordance with his desires. Learn from the previous day's experiences.
