He also tells us what his perfect Roubaix Sunday will look like and what he expects from the rest of 2025.

  17. 28

The Wolfpack Howls - 2025 Ronde van Vlaanderen - Yves Lampaert

This Sunday is the Ronde van Vlaanderen - a day unmatched in the sporting calendar of Belgium. Amongst the narrow farming roads and cobbled bergs that the riders will tackle in the race, lie legends and myths from the historic editions, that dates back over 100 years. The man that perhaps personifies Flanders most amongst our current roster of riders is Yves Lampert. Growing up near Izegem, Yves went to watch de Ronde every year with his family and it is one of the races that inspired him to become a professional rider. In this episode of the Wolfpack Howls Yves romanticises about those days and that the race means to the Flemish, the highs lows of his 11 seasons with Soudal Quick-Step and what we can expect from this Sunday’s race.

  18. 27

Milan San Remo - Gladys Verhulst-Wild

This weekend is another landmark in women’s cycling as we see Milan San Remo added to the women’s calendar. There is quite a debate going on in cycling at the moment as the Primavera Rosa, which ran between 1998 and 2005, took place on the same course as this famous race, but this is the first time that a race branded as Milan San Remo will take place for women and run alongside the men’s race. Today we will be taking a different direction on the show, in that we will not be talking to a past or parent rider but a member of the team’s staff. In the case of our organisation, they are the backbone of the team with many of them being with us since its inception over two decades ago. David Geeroms has been connected with Soudal Quick-Step for nearly a decade, helping first as a freelance soigneur, and then joining full time. David can often be seen on the finish line of some of the world’s biggest races, and worked with Remco Evenepoel during his successes the Olympic Games and World Championships, amongst many other races.
