The Woods I knew

In Episode 3, after a quiet erasure at school, the narrator returns to the woods where a still pool of water begins to withhold his reflection. As the absence deepens into something watching from the other side, he is drawn into a place where the boundary between self and world no longer holds.

In Episode 2, the narrator returns to the woods as a heavy fog settles in, where familiar paths begin to lose their shape and direction. Drawn toward a distant lantern, he finds himself at a place where something does not stay where it should.

In the series premiere, the narrator recalls a childhood in the Appalachian woods, where a family crisis leads to a solitary walk in the woods and an encounter that felt ordinary at the time, except for one detail that has only grown more unsettling with age.
