In this, the final episode in our series on Paul's Letter to the Romans, Paul warns us to watch out for people who cause division in churches or cause immature believers to stumble: take note of them and avoid them. Romans 16:17 – 20.

Greetings are important. Paul filled 23 verses with them. Romans 16:1 – 23.

Things do not always turn out the way we had hoped and prayed for. Even Paul experienced that. Romans 15:22 – 33.

What a privilege it is to play a part in what God is doing in the world. Romans 15:14 – 22.

We are coming near the end of Paul's letter to the church in Rome. Paul winds up everything that has gone before with a benediction. Romans 15:13.

In Romans 15:1 – 12, Paul continues to answer the question: What are we to do about Christians who do not think the way we do?

How should we relate to Christians who don't think the way we do? Paul answers that question in Romans chapters 14 and 15. In this episode, our third look at his answer, we will see that Paul warns us not to risk putting a tumbling block in their way. Romans 14:14 – 15:2.

What is it with us? Why are we so slow to change and so quick to make excuses?We all have people who get on our nerves. They've been getting on our nerves for years. We know we should love them. We say we want to, and we mean to, but we keep making excuses. It’s so hard! we say.Will you wake up? Do you not know what time it is? It’s way past time for excuses. Just wake up and do it?Romans 13:11 – 14

You don't need to have lots of rules to follow. You don't need a list of dos and don'ts to live by. One word has it covered. Romans 13:8 – 10.

How should we behave when our governments are corrupt and justice is not upheld. How should Christians respond when their freedoms are restricted by the authorities? Paul answers those questions in Romans 13:1 – 7.

What does love look like when there is no pretending with it? Romans 12:9 – 21

It’s the cause of so many of our failures. If we ever bring dishonour on God’s name, rather than glorify Him, this is probably why. It’s one of our biggest problems in the Christian life. We think too much of ourselves. Romans 12:3 – 8.

Paul says, no, God says, you need to have your mind renewed. Romans 12:2

In the light of all that Paul has taught us so far, there is only one reasonable response. Romans 12:1.

Paul has told us all we need to know about the Jews and what God’s doing with them, and now, he has one loose end to tie up before he winds up this part of his letter. In doing so, he will answer one of the hardest questions you might be asked. Why did God allow sin to come into the world? Romans 11:25 – 36.

Has God completely rejected Israel? Is there no hope? Is there no future? Romans 11:11 – 24.

Is that it? Is it all over for Israel? No more chances? That’s the question Paul turns our thoughts to in Romans chapter 11:1 – 10.

Why has God rejected the Jews? They desperately wanted to be right with Him, but they went about it in entirely the wrong way. What a tragedy! Romans 9:30 – 10:13.

We return to our series of studies in Paul's letter to the Romans. God has rejected Christ-rejecting Israel and is saving Gentiles and making them into true Israelites. What are the implications of that? Romans 9:24 – 29

In Chapter 9, Paul sets out to prove that God's promises to Israel have not failed, but along the way he has to take time out to deal with the difficulties some people get into over the doctrine of unconditional election. Romans 9:1 – 13.

We have soared to the heavens with Paul in Romans 8: the gospel is great news. But now in Romans 9, he brings us back to earth with a bump. What about those who don’t have faith: those who are still lost? Romans 9:1 – 3.

Are you not amazed by the incredible things God is doing in you? Does it not thrill you every time you think about them? Does it not stun you into silence? It should. It must. Romans 8:31 – 39.

Christian, why is God working all things for your good? Why did He save you? What is He doing in your life? How can you be sure? Paul answers those and other questions in Romans 8:29 – 30.

How can Paul be so sure that absolutely everything is working for the good of those who love God? He tells us in Romans 8:29 - 30.

Romans 8:28 has to be one of the best-known, most quoted — and sometimes misquoted — verses in the whole of the Bible. Are you clear about what it means?

Are there times when you just don't know how to pray? Don't worry— God has that covered. Romans 8:26 – 27.

The world is under God's judgement. It's why bad things happen. The whole creation groans and longs for better times, and so do we, but we must stay faithful to Jesus. Romans 8:18 – 25.

Heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ. Wow! But what does it mean? And there's an if. If we suffer with Him. Romans 8: 17.

Do you ever wonder if you are really saved? In Romans 8:14 - 15 Paul tells you how you can be sure you are the real deal.

If you want to be done with those persistent sind that trouble you, you've got to do it "by the spirit." Romans 8:12 - 14.

How are we to deal with those sins that still trouble us? Continuing to look at Romans 8:12 - 13.

You don't ever have to sin. You are under no obligation. You can always say no. Romans 8:12 - 14.

Here are five amazing things that are true of every Christian. Romans 8:9 – 11.

What’s your mindset? Do you think in the same way as the people all around you? Do you base your decisions and choices on the same values they do? Do the same things matter to you that matter to them? Do you have the mindset of the flesh, or do you have the mindset of the spirit? Romans 8:5 - 8.

Jesus came into the world not only so that we could be forgiven; He came to condemn sin in the flesh so that we can change. Romans 8:1 - 4.

Paul has told us that we're dead to sin: we are no longer slaves to it; we are slaves to God now. But we still have a battle with sin every single day. How come? What’s going on with us? Why do we still keep sinning? Romans 7:15 - 25

What about the Law? If we're saved by grace alone through faith alone, does the law not matter anymore? Is the law a bad thing? Romans 7:7 - 14

What about all those Old Testament rules and regulations that were so important to the Jews for hundreds of years? If the righteousness God gives has nothing to do with keeping the law — if it’s down to faith and faith alone — does the law not matter any more? Romans 7:1 – 6.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23. You know it by heart, but maybe you have never really thought about why Paul wrote it and how it fits with the rest of Romans 6.

Do you have sins — or maybe just one particular sin — that you struggle with? A sin or sins that keep pulling you down? I think you’ll find this passage from Paul's letter to the Romans helpful. Romans 6:1 – 13

Should we keep on sinning so that God can go on showing us more and more of his wonderful grace? Romans 6:1 – 4.

When Adam sinned it's as if we all sinned: we have to pay the penalty for his sin. But there's good news. Romans 5:12 – 21

Paul has told us what the good news is, and it is very good news. But what does it mean? What difference does it make? If we have been justified by faith, what? What changes? Romans 5:1 – 11.

Abraham was justified by faith, David was justified by faith, Gentiles can be justified by faith, People who don’t even know the law can be justified by faith. Righteousness through faith has always been the way. There is no other way. Romans 4
