The Real Vision Behind Make in India
In this powerful and deeply insightful conversation, Amitabh Kant unpacks the real philosophy behind one of India’s most transformative economic movements — Make in India.Moving beyond the common narrative of incentives and subsidies, he explains how the initiative was rooted in something far more fundamental: intent, scale, and structural reform. From simplifying complex regulations and opening up foreign direct investment to strengthening patent and trademark systems, this was a decisive shift toward making India globally competitive. The focus was clear — build large-scale manufacturing capabilities, reduce costs through scale, and position India as a serious player in global supply chains. This conversation goes beyond policy headlines. It explores why subsidies often fail in the long run, how scale drives efficiency and exports, and why long-term thinking is essential to nation-building.At its core, this is not just about manufacturing — it’s about mindset, leadership, and the strategic clarity required to shape a country’s economic future.🔗 Follow Angie’s India ShowInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/theworldofanjalekakriplaniYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AnjalekaAngieKripalaniOfficialLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/anjaleka-angie-kripalaniFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1D2u6DrRyrX (Twitter): https://x.com/ANGIESINDIASHOWSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7sDk6gp4ePtmMR0UQLMXFMDisclaimerThis video represents the personal opinions of Anjaleka (Angie) Kripalani and her guest. The views expressed are not intended to harm or misrepresent any individual or organization.Copyright NoticeAll rights of production are reserved by Anjaleka (Angie) Kripalani.Reproduction or redistribution is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorized.#AngiesIndiaShow #AnjalekaKripalani #AmitabhKant#MakeInIndia #IndiaGrowthStory #EconomicPolicy#ManufacturingIndia #FDI #EaseOfDoingBusiness#StartupIndia #GlobalIndia #LeadershipInsights#IndiaDevelopment #PolicyMatters #NationBuilding

The Truth About US Jobs, India & Outsourcing (No One Talks About This)
In this thought-provoking segment on Angie’s India Show, Madhu Yaskhi Goud addresses one of the most debated global economic questions — are Indian companies really taking away jobs from the United States? With recent policy shifts and tariff changes under Donald Trump’s administration, concerns have been raised about outsourcing, job losses, and the future of global trade.Drawing from his close association with the Indian diaspora across the US, UK, Australia, and the Gulf, Goud offers a different perspective. He explains how outsourcing has historically helped US companies remain competitive globally — enabling them to scale, reduce costs, and sustain growth. Rather than eliminating jobs, this interconnected system often supports economic expansion on both sides. He also highlights the critical role of the Indian diaspora in shaping global economic relationships, pointing to how diaspora-driven influence has contributed to the growth of other global economies. At the same time, he raises concerns about rising tariffs and shifting policies that may disrupt long-standing economic interdependence between nations. This conversation challenges mainstream narratives and offers a deeper look into the realities of global trade, outsourcing, and workforce dynamics.🔹 Madhu Yaskhi GoudX (Twitter): https://x.com/MYaskhiInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/madhuyaskhi/?hl=enFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MadhuYaskhi/🔹 Follow Angie’s India ShowInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/theworldofanjalekakriplaniYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AnjalekaAngieKripalaniOfficialLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/anjaleka-angie-kripalaniFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1D2u6DrRyrX (Twitter): https://x.com/ANGIESINDIASHOWSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7sDk6gp4ePtmMR0UQLMXFM?si=maLbFw7dStC3sfpzV5ErYgDisclaimerThis video represents the personal opinions of Anjaleka (Angie) Kripalani and her guest. Telangana Was Announced in 2009… So Why Did It Take 5 Years?
In this insightful segment on Angie’s India Show, Madhu Yaskhi Goud breaks down the critical years between the announcement of Telangana in 2009 and its eventual formation in 2014.Although the creation of Telangana was announced on 9th December 2009, the process faced significant political and structural challenges. Following the announcement, several MLAs from the Andhra region resigned, creating instability in the legislative framework required for state bifurcation.Under Article 3 of the Indian Constitution, Parliament has the authority to create new states, but the process involves consultation with the state assembly. The political dynamics between regions, combined with majority representation from Andhra, added complexity to the situation. To address the concerns of both regions, the government formed the Sri Krishna Committee, which spent a year gathering inputs from stakeholders, including public representatives and citizens. The committee submitted its report in 2010, outlining multiple possible solutions rather than a direct recommendation. What followed were years of negotiations, political discussions, and stakeholder consultations. In July 2013, the Congress Working Committee passed a resolution supporting the creation of Telangana. This was followed by the passage of the Telangana Bill in Parliament in February 2014.Finally, on 2nd June 2014, Telangana officially became a separate state. This conversation sheds light on the political complexities, negotiations, and decisions that shaped one of India’s most significant state formations.🎥 Watch the full episode to understand the journey from announcement to reality.🔹 Madhu Yaskhi GoudX (Twitter): https://x.com/MYaskhiInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/madhuyaskhi/?hl=enFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MadhuYaskhi/🔹 Follow Angie’s India ShowInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/theworldofanjalekakriplaniYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AnjalekaAngieKripalaniOfficialLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/anjaleka-angie-kripalaniFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1D2u6DrRyrX (Twitter): https://x.com/ANGIESINDIASHOWSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7sDk6gp4ePtmMR0UQLMXFM?si=maLbFw7dStC3sfpzV5ErYg#AngiesIndiaShow #MadhuYaskhiGoud #Telangana #TelanganaFormation #IndianPolitics #StateFormation #IndianDemocracy #PoliticalHistory #IndiaExplained #PublicPolicy

He Left His New York Law Firm After Seeing This in Telangana
In this deeply moving conversation on Angie’s India Show, Madhu Yaskhi Goud shares the moment that changed the course of his life. After building a successful legal career in New York and running his own law firm, Goud was actively involved with the Indian diaspora and community support initiatives in the United States. Why Madhu Yaskhi Goud Left His New York Law Career for Indian Politics
In this powerful conversation on Angie’s India Show, Madhu Yaskhi Goud shares the turning point that led him to leave a successful legal career in New York and return to India.Having built a thriving law firm and actively supporting the Indian diaspora in the United States, Goud was deeply engaged with community work and public life even while abroad. However, a visit to Telangana during the early 2000s changed everything. At the time, the region was witnessing a devastating wave of farmer suicides, particularly among cotton farmers. Reports from global publications highlighted the crisis, but it was only when Goud visited affected villages in Nizamabad district that he fully understood the human cost.Families who had lost their primary earners were struggling to survive — many without the means to even perform last rites.Moved by what he saw, he began supporting families personally. What started as individual acts of help soon became a deeper calling — one that brought him back to India and into politics. In 2004, despite the Congress party being out of power for years, he was offered a ticket to contest elections from Nizamabad — a decision that marked the beginning of his political journey. He went on to win and was re-elected again in 2009.This conversation captures the intersection of personal experience, social responsibility, and political commitment.🎥 Watch the full episode to hear the story behind a life-changing decision and a journey rooted in public service.X (Twitter): https://x.com/MYaskhiInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/madhuyaskhi/?hl=enFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MadhuYaskhi/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theworldofanjalekakriplaniYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AnjalekaAngieKripalaniOfficialLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/anjaleka-angie-kripalaniFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1D2u6DrRyrX (Twitter): https://x.com/ANGIESINDIASHOWSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7sDk6gp4ePtmMR0UQLMXFM?si=maLbFw7dStC3sfpzV5ErYg🔹 Madhu Yaskhi Goud🔹 Follow Angie’s India Show

Why Telangana Needed a Separate State | Madhu Yaskhi Goud Explains
In this insightful conversation on Angie’s India Show, Madhu Yaskhi Goud discusses the economic and developmental realities that led to the demand for a separate Telangana state. For decades, during the unified state of Andhra Pradesh, a large share of development and investment was concentrated around Hyderabad. According to Goud, the city generated a significant portion of the state's revenue, yet many districts across the region experienced uneven development. This imbalance eventually fueled a widespread movement demanding a separate state — one that would allow resources, infrastructure, and governance to be more evenly distributed across regions.Since the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh and the creation of Telangana, both states have begun pursuing independent development paths. Infrastructure projects, new medical colleges, engineering institutions, airports, and technology investments have expanded across various districts.Goud also reflects on how major investments and infrastructure expansion are shaping the future of cities across the region, including developments in Visakhapatnam and other districts. This conversation explores the political, economic, and social context behind one of India’s most significant state reorganizations.🎥 Watch the full episode to hear the detailed perspective behind the Telangana movement and the evolving development story of the region.🔹 Madhu Yaskhi GoudX (Twitter): https://x.com/MYaskhiInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/madhuyaskhi/?hl=enFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MadhuYaskhi/🔹 Follow Angie’s India ShowInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/theworldofanjalekakriplaniYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AnjalekaAngieKripalaniOfficialLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/anjaleka-angie-kripalaniFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1D2u6DrRyrX (Twitter): https://x.com/ANGIESINDIASHOWSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7sDk6gp4ePtmMR0UQLMXFM?si=maLbFw7dStC3sfpzV5ErYg⚖ DisclaimerThis video represents the personal opinions of Anjaleka (Angie) Kripalani and her guest. How Madhu Yaskhi Goud Won the Trust of Nizamabad Voters After Returning from New York
In this candid conversation on Angie’s India Show, Madhu Yaskhi Goud shares how the people of Nizamabad placed their trust in him — a lawyer who had returned from New York to enter Indian politics. After building a successful legal career in Manhattan, Goud returned to India driven by a desire to serve and address the realities he had witnessed on the ground. When he first contested elections in Nizamabad, many saw him as an outsider — a US-based lawyer stepping into grassroots politics.Instead of making promises, he chose honesty.Madhu Yaskhi Goud openly shared his personal story — the loss of his father in an accident, the responsibility of supporting his family and siblings, and his commitment to treat the people of Nizamabad as his own family. His message was simple: he would be their voice in Parliament. With the support of the Congress leadership, particularly Sonia Gandhi, who entrusted him with the party ticket despite senior leaders seeking it, Goud entered the electoral arena. The people of Nizamabad responded with trust and support. He went on to win the election and later secured victory again in 2009 — even when many local MLAs lost their seats. His strong advocacy for a separate Telangana state in Parliament and in public life further strengthened his connection with the people. This conversation offers insight into how authenticity, public service, and grassroots engagement shaped Madhu Yaskhi Goud’s political journey.🔹 Madhu Yaskhi GoudX (Twitter): https://x.com/MYaskhiInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/madhuyaskhi/?hl=enFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/MadhuYaskhi/🔹 Follow Angie’s India ShowInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/theworldofanjalekakriplaniYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AnjalekaAngieKripalaniOfficialLinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/anjaleka-angie-kripalaniFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/share/1D2u6DrRyrX (Twitter): https://x.com/ANGIESINDIASHOWSpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/7sDk6gp4ePtmMR0UQLMXFM?si=maLbFw7dStC3sfpzV5ErYg DisclaimerThis video represents the personal opinions of Anjaleka (Angie) Kripalani and her guest. In this revealing segment from Angie’s India Show, Aditya Chand Burman, Non-Executive Director at Dabur India Ltd., speaks about how Dabur supports women entrepreneurship and employment — not through noise, but through structure. From training women beauticians through legacy brands like Gulabari and Vatika, to entire manufacturing units run by women, Dabur’s approach focuses on long-term opportunity, not tokenism. One of the most powerful interventions, however, is less talked about:building thousands of toilets across rural India.Through initiatives like 700–700 Steps, Dabur has helped improve safety, dignity, and confidence for women — reducing the risks they face when basic sanitation is absent. These are changes that quietly transform lives, especially for women and young girls. This is empowerment at ground level — practical, scalable, and deeply human.🎙️ Hosted by Anjaleka (Angie) Kripalani▶️ Watch the full conversation on Angie’s India Show🎙️ Hosted by Anjaleka (Angie) Kripalani\Instagram: instagram.com/theworldofanjalekakriplaniFacebook: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61572895610850X (Twitter): x.com/ANGIESINDIASHOWLinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/anjaleka-angie-kripalani/postsSpotify: open.spotify.com/show/4n1hugp8Qx2Q71ul2juPQ2YouTube: youtube.com/channel/UCbeW_Z0kT5LHbZKnFXQz9gQThis video represents the opinions of Anjaleka (Angie) Kripalani and her guest.
