Send a textThis particular podcast has been a long time coming! It is something very close to our heart and a topic that runs rampant throughout Christianity .With the promise of setting people free, the prosperity gospel and other teachings we touch on in this podcast does the complete opposite .We understand how passionate people can be about this topic and how divisive of a topic it can be however the Bible is very clear on marking and calling out false doctrine, out of love for the brethren.So this is what we are doing, we had a very close, uncomfortable and upsetting call with this theology and saw the devastating effect it can have on the lives of people desperate for breakthrough. Years ago, as a young and somewhat naive pastor, I allowed one of these teachers to speak at the church and I sometimes feel the weight of this, and for that I whole heartedly repent.This led me on a journey of study, prayer and a deep desire for the truth of God’s word. So the Lord used this for good. The Bible says what the Bible says. These false teachers flourish when the word of God is missing in our lives.

Send a textI thought the Holy Spirit had left me…#god #church #healing #bible Dealing with spiritual burnout. It’s been three weeks since our last podcast but that was intentional!  And the reason we were on intentional on this is because One of the things I’ve learnt over the years of being a Christian and especially when in ministry is to rest before you burn out. Send a textWe were not going to speak on this topic as there’s been so many people weighing in on it however it is very close to our hearts and the bishop has responded after the attack.This episode we discuss the event that shook the world when Bishop Mari was attacked during his sermon by a Muslim attempting to take his life.As we mentioned in the video this is not to discuss his theology but more to discuss the reasons Christians will face persecutions troubles and even death for fall in Christ. Send a textThose listening and not watching you may want to watch this on YouTube for full context! YouTube has always been a place of weird and wonderful videos, after all with so many users uploading so many videos it’s about to happen! However….there is a dark elephant in the room that we need to talk about when it comes to videos aimed  towards children. There is no getting away from the fact that children have more choice than ever when it comes to what they choose to watch and if we are not careful they may well end up meeting some of the characters that we will discuss today in this video! Colourful sprites that appear nice and friendly to begin with but take a sinister turn! This has a fragrance of Elsagate and Elsagate has had huge  issues of its own! What are your thoughts when it comes to these characters? Is it intentional?
