When we move to help people we have a couple different options: We can be motivated by guilt and duty which works well but puts you in a very vulnerable spot for burnout. Or we can take the cue from Jesus and let compassion and joy be our motivating factors and move forward out of the overflow and release tremendous beauty into the world. That is exactly what we seem to have discovered in this interview, someone who lives with joy and peace in the place of her calling and spreads joy from the overflow in a beautiful way. :) Enough with the typing already, let's get to talking! Quick note on that explanation of the phrase 90 day wonder: I was totally off base. Although I'm pretty sure I've heard it explained as such, the term 90 day wonder is a reference to the officers candidate school (or OCS) founded in the 1940's and used to overcome the loss of officers due to the second world war. I’m currently 8,553 miles from home and it has me rethinking many things. One of which is the question of what we as Christian’s really need in order to be at home on this blue and green planet we call earth. We must investigate things in order to learn and what better way to learn about our creator than to be a student of his creation and manifold blessings of the human experience. Join me if you would and we shall take a look at scripture, share stories and seek to know more about the simple and powerful truths of scripture lived out daily. :-)
