After hearing Sarah here on Soundcloud, I knew right away that I wanted to write for her and work with her. Luckily for me, she agreed and so ‘Exit’ was born. I have always loved the rather risqué ‘Leather’ by Legpuppy and was blown away when the band agreed to me doing a remix of it. This really has been a labour of love for me, adding my own ideas, restructuring the track and experimenting with the stems: I hope that I have done the track justice. When I stumbled across Ren and heard her incredible voice, I knew straight away that I really wanted to write a song for her. 'Safe' is the result. Ren's thoughtful lyrics paint a poignant picture of a difficult situation, in which one is trapped and desperate to leave, in the hope that they can feel safe again. After our previous collaboration, I was so pleased when EllE (Cycle of Hands) agreed to work with me again on this new track, both with the music and vocals. After collaborating with the amazing Nic Evennett before on ‘Feel the burn’, I knew that one day I just had to work with her again. So I wrote this for her one Sunday afternoon - and luckily enough, she liked it! Her voice and her lyrics are just perfect and have turned my original idea into something so, so much better. I've always loved 'Bladerunner' and wrote my original homage to the great first film many years ago. However, I was never happy with the mix I came up with...so I've had another go. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it - and that replicant Rachel!

This is a remix of 'No More Air', a song that really took me out of my comfort zone when I first created it as - very unusually for me - I sang on it. Yes, I know singing isn't my thing but for some reason I really felt that I needed to do so on this one, however badly. The theme about an astronaut dying alone in space, knowing that he will never return home, really tugged at my heartstrings I think. This entire track came about after hearing the chords used by Dmitry Golubovsky on his track 'No Air’ and he was kind enough to let me use them here. I hope you like what I did with those chords...

This entire track evolved from a line in a track called 'Blistering Heat' that my friend TheDelta57 was working on. He was kind enough to let me play around with his original idea and take it wherever I wanted, which in this case was very much back to my electronic roots. I loved creating this track. A few months back, I approached Guitarbeard, wondering if he would be interested in collaborating. To my surprise, he agreed. 'TheDelta57' came up with a great idea for a track and was kind enough to let me get my hands on it. When I had finished playing around, I asked Skyline Tigers if she was interested in coming up with some lyrics (shown below) and singing on it. When I first heard Nic's beautiful, haunting voice, I knew instantly that I wanted to write a song for her. Luckily, she liked what I created and came up with an amazing vocal for it. After working with some very talented artists recently, I guess I needed to prove to myself that I could still work alone & write new things. Hence, 'Red Zero', which is not exactly house, nor dance, nor pop. In fact, I have no idea what it is but I hope you like it and play it LOUD!

I wrote this a long time ago and asked Last Relic Studio if he would be interested in working on it. When I saw the film 'Das Boot' for the first time, I was overwhelmed. To understand what life might have been like as a submariner in WW2 was both enlightening and terrifying. Many years on, the theme tune popped into my head for no reason at all and within an hour I had written a short homage to it. Another four years on and I have returned to update the track. I hope you like it.

When I first heard Dmitry Golubovsky's track 'No Air,' I loved the chords he used and immediately wanted to do my own version (original at https://soundcloud.com/golubovsky/more-air.) Luckily Dmitry was happy for me to do this. This is a very rough mix, especially with the vocals but I think I like it this way. It is very different from the original in structure, style and story, focusing now on a dying astronaut who knows he can never return home. It was gonna be an instrumental but after listening to it late one night, I realised that it really needed vocals and so, I thought I'd have a go. Hope you like this one. It's from the heart. It's been a while since I last wrote anything and to be honest, I was really worried that I would never be able to write anything again. I just totally lost my mojo. So, this short ambient instrumental may not be the best but it means something to me. It means that there is hope. Always.

I'd always loved Walter's original ambient instrumental and eventually I plucked up the courage to ask him if I could do my own version of it. Luckily he agreed. It was a joy to work on and when Skyline Tigers agreed to sing on it, things really started to fall into place. The final piece in the jigsaw was Syd, who played a massive role in helping me to re-animate and produce the final version. After all the recent collaborations I have done, I suddenly felt the urge to create something by myself again and - brace yourself - use my own voice. 'This New World' is the result, a track all about love, starting again and chasing your dreams, in this case on a brand new planet.

Sean had another idea and once again, was kind enough to let me get my hands on it. This time though my good buddies Luke and Syd also got involved. A real team effort and one that I hope you enjoy.
