What does it mean to be a Christian? This podcast takes a quick look at this question and why it is often misunderstood.

What should a church do? A strange question but nonetheless important. 

Is what we believe as a Christian critical? Yes! Since beliefs do vary between churches, denominations, and believers, we need to make sure that our own beliefs include essential Christian doctrine. The doctrine is simple, but because it is simple it can be overlooked or perhaps distorted.

The law points to the problem of sin and the gospel points to the solution.

A quick discussion regarding the world we live in and how it relates to the spiritual world. Understanding that this existence was not what God originally created, sin changed it all, but only for the time being. So what is really real?

All believers are "a work in progress" we all need to be taught, strengthened, guided, etc. to do what God calls us to do. This is referred to as the process of sanctification which is an ongoing often slow process. Which can be impeded by our sin, so what do we do?

Jesus once asked the question, "Are you for me or against me?" The reality of that question is difficult for us modern ears as we are accustomed to being impartial or thinking more gray than being so black and white where we have to choose either one or the other. It's our choice. 

The existence of suffering in the world has created many barriers against the belief of a "Loving God," but we see that the answer to that question is rooted in mankind not God.

Christians and non-Christians alike struggle with the problem of suffering. The question why is there suffering often turns off people from believing in a 'loving' God. So, where does suffering come from? 

Even though Cristians are called to be ambassadors for Jesus (see 2 Corinthians 5:20) we often relegate evangelism to a low priority.

The Biblical concept of a church can be very different from today's perspective of what a church should be. In this continuing series exploring what is sin we look at the role of the church especially in regards to equipping believers.

Christianity is more than a name or title. Many profess being a Christian but when asked what does that mean they don't really know how to answer, often saying something like, "someone that goes to church." In this podcast we take a quick look at what it means to be a Christian.

We begin to look into the problem of sin, this otherwise insurmountable problem does have easy solution.
