Nara and G may be young in both age and years of marriage, but their relationship is built on a foundation far deeper than experience—it's built on Christ. As they reflect on their two-year journey of marriage, it's clear that God was not only at the center of their union, but also at the heart of their pursuit of one another from the very beginning. Long before saying "I do," both Nara and G were intentional about seeking a spouse who shared their faith, values, and vision for a God-honoring life. They didn't chase perfection—they chased purpose, trusting that God would bring the right person at the right time. And when He did, they committed not only to each other, but to walking out their covenant with God leading the way. Even now, in the early stages of their marriage, they continue to grow spiritually—praying together, serving together, and leaning on biblical truth as their guide. Their love reflects maturity beyond their years, because it is anchored not in emotion alone, but in obedience, grace, and the shared desire to glorify God in every season of life. Their story is a reminder that a strong marriage isn't about how long you've been married—it's about who is holding it together. And for Nara and G, that's always been, and will always be, God.

Jose's sister experienced the same painful and abusive upbringing, but her view of it was shaped differently. Rather than letting the trauma define her, she chose to face it head-on—with strength, faith, and determination. Her journey of healing was not easy, but she leaned fully on God, allowing Him to transform her pain into purpose. In time, she met and married a wonderful, God-fearing man who has been a true partner in life and faith. Together, they built a Christ-centered marriage rooted in love, mutual respect, and spiritual growth. Now living in North Carolina with their two beautiful children, they've created a home filled with peace, joy, and the presence of God—something they both longed for growing up. They credit everything to God—every breakthrough, every healing moment, every blessing. Their marriage is a testimony to His redemptive power, showing that no matter how broken the past, God can write a new story—one marked by grace, restoration, and unwavering hope. Their lives are a living witness that when God is at the center, even the most painful beginnings can lead to beautiful, Spirit-led futures.

Jaden and Lexie have grown up witnessing a marriage rooted in love, faith, perseverance, and mutual respect. After relocating to Connecticut, Jose and Sandy began a new chapter filled with growth and opportunity. Jose launched his own business, stepping boldly into entrepreneurship, while Sandy embarked on a new career path that brought fresh purpose and fulfillment. Together, they saw their life begin to flourish—not only financially, but also relationally, as their marriage grew stronger and more rooted in love and faith. However, in the midst of these blessings, they faced a deep and unexpected loss with the passing of Sandy's father. His absence left a profound impact, shifting their perspective and reminding them of the fragility and beauty of life. Through both the joys and the sorrows, Jose and Sandy continue to walk in faith, giving God all the glory. Their journey is now marked by a deeper resilience, a refined outlook on life, and an unwavering trust in God's purpose through every season.

In this episode, Jose and Sandy dive back into the story of their marriage. As the party scene starts to take over their lives, their marriage begins on a downward spiral. Jose eventually abandons the family by moving to Texas to pursue music. Eventually, Jose comes to his senses and returns home. Their marriage begins to heal as they put God first in the marriage and throw all distractions aside. 

This episode takes us through the life of Sandy as a child up to present-day life. What it looks like being raised in a christian household with devout believers in God. She walks us through her struggle with anxiety as a teenager and into her adult years. How God healed her and took her mess and used it as a message! 

This episode dives deep into Jose's abusive childhood. Warning as this episode speaks on explicit subjects such as pornography, physical abuse, mental abuse, and domestic violence. Getting a first-row seat at his childhood helps to tie in the last few episodes as to why he struggled early into his marriage. This episode is also an example of how Christ can heal a broken past and make up for lost time. There is nothing you have ever done that is too bad that Jesus can't forgive you or heal you from!  

Join Jose and Sandy as they welcome their second child, Lexie. As life gets busy, Jose finds himself consumed with music as he chases a dream to become well-established in the industry. All the while, Sandy is stuck at home raising two kids and feeling alone and unloved. Amidst the distractions of life, past secrets and hidden sin starts to surface due to an unhealthy childhood in Jose's upbringing. 

We met at McDonald's-just another ordinary day that turned into the start of somthing unexpected. Sandy was behind the counter, working her shift, and Jose was just a customer grabbing a meal. But she noticed him. Maybe it was luck, maybe it was fate, but instead of letting him walk out the door like any other customer, she did somthiing bold-she asked for Jose's number.  From that moment, everthing changed. What started as late night conversations quickly turned into somthing real. Before long, we were inseperable. Then came the news-we were expecting a child. At just 19, it was a lot to take in.  Growing up in the Christian church, there was no question about what came next. The pressure was immidiate- faith, family, and the expectations of those around us made it clear: if we were having a baby, marriage was the only way forward. So, ready or not, we took the step.  It wasnt a perfect start, but it was ours. Young, in love, and navigating the weight of responsibility, we stepped into marriage with hope, uncertainty, and a commitment to figure it out together.
