Tough Love & Letting Go — When Faith Gets Real | Loving Well with Healthy Boundaries
Have you ever confused love with survival? Sometimes what we’ve called love was really just over-giving, overextending, and losing ourselves to keep others comfortable. But real love—the kind God calls us to—doesn’t require you to disappear. You matter. You are not too much. And boundaries are not punishment—they are clarity. In this final episode of the Tough Love series, we talk about what it means to love well without abandoning yourself. This is where faith gets real—where you choose truth over guilt, healing over habit, and obedience over fear. Journal Prompts: • Where have you been over-giving and calling it love? • Where have you been showing up for everyone else but not yourself? • When was the last time you asked yourself: what do you need? Scripture: • Romans 12:2 — “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind…” • Galatians 6:5 — “For each one should carry their own load.” • 2 Timothy 1:7 — “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” If this message spoke to you and you need someone to walk alongside you, you can reach me at: elizabethkgreen.com Resource: Unspoken Goodbyes: A Daughter’s Story of Grief, Love, and Healing https://a.co/d/0hPIfezO #ToughLove #FaithJourney #HealthyBoundaries #ChristianHealing #LettingGo #SelfWorth #EmotionalHealing #FaithOverFear #BoundariesAreBiblical #GrowthJourney

Tough Love & Letting Go: When Faith Gets Real | When Family Pushes Back
Have you ever felt like you started growing… and suddenly became the problem? Growth can be beautiful—but it can also be uncomfortable, especially when the people around you were used to a version of you that didn’t have boundaries. Families are often built on patterns, unspoken rules, and quiet expectations. So when you begin to change, it can feel like you’re disrupting everything. This episode talks about what happens when your growth is met with resistance—and how to stay grounded in who you’re becoming. Sometimes the guidance we need doesn’t come from loud voices, but from silent mentors—the ones who show us, through their lives, that it’s possible to grow without losing ourselves or becoming hardened. You can evolve without becoming cold. You can hold your boundaries without losing your kindness. Journal Prompts: • Have you been shrinking yourself to avoid conflict? • Have you been going back to old patterns to keep things smooth? • What part of you is silencing itself to keep the peace? • What was comfortable with the version of you that didn’t have boundaries? • What expectations are you being asked to step back into? • And what does it cost you to return to that version? • What would it look like to fully stand in your growth? • Can you love them without agreeing with everything? • Can you stay kind without going back? Scripture: Galatians 1:10 — “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” If this message resonates with you and you want to connect further: 🌐 Website: https://elizabethgreen.com 📖 Unspoken Goodbyes: A Daughter’s Story of Grief, Love, and Healing https://a.co/d/02VsnRJc #ToughLove #FaithJourney #LettingGo #HealingInFaith #ChristianEncouragement #Boundaries #SpiritualGrowth #FaithOverFear #Galatians110 #EmotionalHealing #SelfReflection #GrowthJourney

Tough Love & Letting Go: When Faith Gets Real | Step Aside and Let God Work
Letting go sounds simple… until you’re the one living it. In this episode, I’m talking about what it really looks like to release control and step aside so God can move. Because if I’m honest—stepping back has never been easy for me. I’ve wrestled with wanting to fix things, hold things together, and control the outcome. But I’m learning that some outcomes were never mine to control in the first place. This is about choosing trust over control… even when it feels uncomfortable, uncertain, and hard. If you’re in a season where your mind keeps replaying the same situation, or you’re carrying the weight of trying to fix someone or something—this is for you. Journal Prompts: What am I trying to control right now? Who am I trying to fix? What situation keeps running through my mind over and over again? What am I afraid will happen if I stop trying to control it? Am I afraid it’ll fall apart? Am I afraid I’ll lose something or someone? What would it look like for me to release one thing today? What’s one area I can give to God? Tension lives where control tries to stay—but peace comes when I finally release it. Scripture Mentioned: Exodus 14:14 — “The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” If this spoke to you and you need someone to walk alongside you, you can reach me at: elizabethkgreen.com Unspoken Goodbyes: A Daughter’s Story of Grief, Love, and Healing https://a.co/d/0hPIfezO #LettingGo #TrustGod #FaithOverFear #SurrenderControl #ChristianEncouragement #Exodus1414 #FaithJourney #EmotionalHealing #WomenOfFaith #ChristianYouTube #HealingWithGod #LetGoAndLetGod #InnerPeace #FaithGetsReal #UnspokenGoodbyes

Tough Love & Letting Go: When Faith Gets Real | Letting Go Without Losing Your Heart
Letting go doesn’t mean I didn’t love. In this episode, I’m opening up about the tension of holding on—especially when it feels like there’s still potential. I’ve found myself stuck in the “what ifs”… What if they change? What if they finally see it? What if things could be different? Holding onto potential can feel safe because it keeps hope alive—but it can also keep me stuck. I’m learning that part of letting go is grieving the expectations I had… and accepting what is. Because the truth is, I can love someone deeply and still choose to let them go. If you’ve been holding on longer than you should, this episode is for you. Journal Prompts: What have I been holding onto? What outcome am I still hoping for that hasn’t happened? Where have I been overextending myself trying to keep something alive? What is it costing me emotionally to hold on? If nothing changes… could I keep living like this? Letting go isn’t about giving up—it’s about choosing peace, truth, and emotional freedom. Scripture Mentioned: Ecclesiastes 3:6 — “A time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away.” If this spoke to you and you need someone to walk alongside you, you can reach me at: elizabethkgreen.com Book Mentioned: Unspoken Goodbyes: A Daughter’s Story of Grief, Love, and Healing https://a.co/d/0hPIfezO #LettingGo #EmotionalHealing #FaithOverFeelings #ChristianEncouragement #Ecclesiastes36 #FaithJourney #WomenOfFaith #HealingWithGod #Boundaries #SelfGrowth #LetGoAndHeal #TrustGod #FaithGetsReal #UnspokenGoodbyes #PersonalGrowth

Tough Love & Letting Go: When Faith Gets Real | Tough Love Isn’t Cold — It’s Courage
What if the most loving thing you could do… is stop rescuing them? In this first episode, Elizabeth dives into the hard truth about tough love—what it really means, and why it takes courage, not coldness. Sometimes love doesn’t look like fixing, saving, or stepping in. Sometimes it looks like stepping back, speaking truth, and trusting God with the outcome. If you’ve ever struggled with knowing when to help and when to let go, this episode is for you. We’re asking the hard questions: Where are you helping, but deep down you know it’s no longer helping? What truth have you been avoiding because you’re afraid of how it will feel—or how they’ll respond? Have you been confusing rescuing with loving? Tough love is choosing truth—even when it costs you emotionally. And real faith means trusting God enough to release control. Scripture Mentioned: Proverbs 27:6 — “Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” #ToughLove #FaithOverFeelings #LettingGo #ChristianEncouragement #BiblicalTruth #Proverbs276 #FaithJourney #TrustGod #EmotionalHealing #ChristianYouTube #WomenOfFaith #HealingWithGod #HardTruth #Boundaries #FaithGetsReal
