The law of God not only exposes us for who we really are, it also points us to Jesus who kept the law perfectly for those who would trust Him. Then, from a place of acceptance, Jesus points us back to the law as a way to love others.

God's law is like a mirror that reveals who we really are in light of God's perfect holiness. Although it reveals how sinful we really are, it also points us to Jesus who kept it for us perfectly.

In this first of a three part series we discover that God's law is like a road with lines, and stop signs, and guardrails. It keeps humanity from destroying itself as we are created in God's image with some sense of morality.

Sometimes we think that we come to know Christ through faith but then we have to maintain and try hard to keep in the love of God. A biblical view of our growth (sanctification) says something much more hopeful!
