How many times do we have to tell you we aren’t together!
In this episode of Two Peas No Pod Filter, we’re spilling the real tea on how this whole thing even started. Spoiler alert: we didn’t even like each other at first. Not. Even. A little. But when you take two people who aren't each other’s type, strip away expectations, throw in some wild food adventures, out-of-state escapades, random disappearances (Carah...👀), and one prophetic wine-fueled video—boom, destiny. Here’s the plot twist: everyone thought we were together long before we ever were. And honestly? We get it. We looked like a couple, acted like a couple—but nope. Just two chaos-driven foodies with zero romantic interest, traveling, eating, clubbing, and doing life side-by-side with no strings (and even fewer boundaries). From not catching feelings to catching flights, listen to how our platonic partnership turned into “wait… are we actually in love?” All it took was four years of friendship, one cabin getaway, and a dash of delusion. Now here we are—one year deep into dating and planning a wedding. Manifestation? Maybe. Wine magic? Could be. Jesus? Absolutely!

Meeting the Unfiltered Peas
Welcome to the episode where you finally get to meet the chaos and calm behind Two Peas No Pod Filter! Buckle up, because this is a ride.First, we have Carah—graduate student studying counseling by day, self-proclaimed wine connoisseur by night (or at least that’s what she tells herself while aggressively swirling a glass of Riesling). Balancing mental health wisdom with questionable wine pairings, Carah is the friend who will both psychoanalyze your life choices and judge you for drinking Moscato. With her short hair (which she will not shut up about), a love for adrenaline-fueled decisions, and a personality that keeps you guessing—Carah is the human equivalent of a "surprise me" order at a restaurant. Then there’s Jordan—a basketball trainer on a mission to make it to the professional level. He’s the gym-loving, laid-back, adventure-appreciating half of this duo… but let’s be real, next to Carah, everyone looks chill. Jordan is the human version of a perfect alley-oop—smooth, high-energy, and guaranteed to light up any room he walks into. He’s got the kind of personality that makes strangers feel like best friends, but don’t let the easygoing vibe fool you—when it comes to training, the man flips a switch. One second, he’s cracking jokes and making everyone laugh, the next, he’s in full-on NBA grind mode, dissecting footwork like he’s about to draft you himself. He’s all about balance—work hard, play hard, and maybe let Carah rope him into some reckless adventure (with a very cautious “let’s think this through” first). Jordan is out here grinding towards being an NBA trainer, balancing training, coaching, and keeping his peace while Carah tries to rope him into one of her spontaneous, mildly dangerous activities. He prefers controlled adventure—think hiking, sports, or the occasional thrill—whereas Carah is out here testing the limits of life expectancy.Together, they’re the perfect balance of “let’s do it” and “should we though?”, bringing you a podcast where literally anything can happen.Hit play, get comfy, and prepare to question your own life choices as we introduce the Unhinged Peas!
