Love That Flows to Your Enemies

Ever wondered one of the reasons why the Lord prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies? In this episode, we learn it’s not for you to get the glory. It’s not for you to brag and boast. It’s not even for you to spread all over the media to reveal what the Lord has done. It’s so that your good works may be seen and your Father in Heaven may get the glory. What purpose does it serve if we post on social media the goodness of God, but can’t spread that same goodness to even our enemies in real life. Sometimes that table prepared is a table full of joy, peace, restoration, love, etc. We have to have a love like Jesus to where even our enemies have a chance to experience God’s goodness. Jesus was a great example in the example of sharing a table and breaking bread with Judas, better yet, washing his feet. This is love and the true meaning of serving..even if it’s at your own table. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

Running Back to Your First Love

Many times, we place titles on people and things that do not deserve titles. We claim things that are not meant to be claimed and attach ourselves to things we were not supposed to attach to. In this episode, we learn that God is our first love and it is time to stop devoting that title to things and people that run out and does not have the ability to love us back forever. God is the creator of love; therefore, it leaves Him to be the measurement of love and how it works. In this episode, we take a look into how a first love is not who you had the ability to love first, it is who had the ability to first know what love was to love you first. No one would love if it had not been for the creator of love. If you're feeling rejection, stopped being consistent with God, or never even quite understood why we are to love God back, this episode is for you. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

The Lord Is My Shepherd Part 2

There is a stillness that God is trying to bring about in your life. He leads us beside the still waters. When it seems like life is a raging storm, He reminds us that His path brings stillness and righteousness. Life never ends, but neither does God's peace. When troubles feel like they're weighing you down, it is because your faith is moving more than the storm, or problem. When our faith is still, so is waters around us. But when our faith is moveable, it brings more destruction because of the angle we view life from. He wants to restore you daily to bring you back to your original state which was resting in His presence. We also learn in this episode to be righteous for His sake, not worrying about the outer appearance compliments. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

The Lord Is My Shepherd Part 1

Welcome back to Watered by God Podcast!! We are back better than ever and starting season 2 off with understanding how the Lord is our Shepherd and he gives us everything we need. Only He can do such a thing. In this episode, we will be studying Psalms 23: 1-3. We will be studying Psalms 23 as a series for the next few episodes, also. He can allow you to not want for money, food, fame, fortune, worldly joy, etc. The scripture also says He makes us lay in green pastures. We may not want to, but we have to emphasize the word make because He wants us to rest in the things of Him. We learn in this episode what a green pasture is and why specifically God uses those words. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

    The Greatest Command: Part 2

We always tend to look at love as an emotion. We think of it as we either feel it or we don't. Many people end relationships based off of "I don't love them anymore" or they view friendships as "I just don't see them as the same person anymore". Jesus commands us to love. It was never based off if you felt like doing anything. He would not command for us to love if it was a feeling. He commands it because we are to act out of love, not love based off others' actions. Actions expose what is in your heart, nevertheless, if you are acting out of that, your heart posture needs to be cleansed by God. We learn the correct way to love and what love is in 1 Corinthians 13:1-8. Love is not the expectations of social media standards or generational views or flowers and gifts or tv fairytales. In this episode we discuss that the definition of love is 1 Corinthians 13:1-8. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

    The Greatest Command: Part 1

In the Book of Matthew, we learn a lot about Jesus and different lessons that are to be learned. Specifically in chapter 22, verses 37-40, we see Jesus telling the pharisee that the most important command is to love God with your whole heart, soul, and mind. Many do not know where to start when it comes to their relationships with God, but this is simply it. When you love God with all that is within you, everything else will follow after because you will live to please Him and not to upset or hurt Him. In this episode, we discuss how our relationship with God can be compared to our relationship with humans. As a matter of fact, part of our purpose in life is to display that love of God to others so that they may also experience God. How can we love others correctly though if we do not know the source of love? It will not work. God is love. How can you love the unbeliever if you do not know how to love the believer correctly? The unbeliever is waiting to believe from the love of the believer, not the hypocrisy and criticism. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

    Daniel and the Lion's Den

In this episode, we discuss the story of Daniel and the lion's den. This story is so powerful, and it proves just how good God's grace, mercy, and power is. Daniel's enemies were exposed in the same way that they were trying to expose Daniel. God will shut the mouth of the lions in your life as long as you are obedient. Many see this story as a story of faith, but it is also a story of obedience. Daniel could have acted out of many emotions, but he held on to God's unchanging hand and did not shift his actions even though the devil was getting the upper hand, so he thought. Daniel came out of the den untouched, and God is allowing you to come out of your den untouched, unbothered, and better than ever. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

    The Start of Something New

Sometimes we wonder why we go through things the way we do and why things had to take place the way they did. In this episode, we discuss that it is because God is doing a new thing in us. God is preparing something so beautiful that no human can destroy. This brings a joy that no one can take. The world will not give you this new peace, and the world cannot take it away. You may be in a season that feels like you have been chopped down, broken, replaced...but in all actuality, this is God preparing something new for you. What did not work out for you last time, God is saying try it again this time with Him. You had to endure the suffering of what fell down because it was weak and was going to fall anyways due to it not being built on Him. This time will be greater. Love will be greater. That business will be greater. Weeping may endure for the night. but joy comes in the morning. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

    What Do You Idolize?

Many times, we idolize things unaware. In this episode, we will discuss a list of things that can be considered idols in our life. It is easy to see the obvious idols such as money, cars, houses, and fame. What happens when it gets a little deeper than we expected? God wants us to put Him before everything!!! In this episode, we break down what "everything" looks like. Nothing should stand in the way of the presence of God. So, what or who do you idolize? Take a deep look into the mirror, into your daily habits, into your daily activity, and see what you put before God. Sometimes even going to social media for the answer and not God's word is an idol. It is sometimes hard to see what is keeping us bound because of the lack of awareness. Today is one step out of the boat to go further into the shackles being released from your feet. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

    Wisdom in the Wilderness

God is so faithful and has always kept his promises and commandments to a thousand generations. He is that same God. Many in the bible had to go through the wilderness to become who God needs them to be and fulfill their purpose. We may enjoy God on the mountain top, but it in the wilderness that we are able to get close to Him. We are able to learn about his protections and strength and power. He is the same God that did it for them, so He can also do it for us. It is out of the wilderness that something good sprouts up. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

  11. 6

    What Do You Treasure?

Whatever you dwell on is your treasure and whatever you treasure, you will dwell on. In this episode, God is reminding us that nothing in this world is worth dwelling on. We are not to worry about the materialistic things of this earth, but only our salvation and worshipping God. Sometimes God will not give us something because he knows we will eventually idolize it later on down the line. Sometimes it may even harm us mentally and spiritually but favor you physically. This Christian Walk is not about financial gain. People in the bible lost their life for the sake of Christ. We cannot afford to call ourselves "material girls" or guys or always "blessed and highly favored" because of financial gain. This walk is about spiritually gaining everything God has called us to gain and being who God has called for us to be. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

  12. 5

    Carrying the Cross

The bible reminds us in Luke 9:23 that we must carry our cross daily. Sometimes it is easier said than done. Being a Christian is not always sunshine and candy. You may have to leave a few people behind. You may have to drop some old habits off. You may even have to drop some physical characteristics off. In order to carry the Cross, we have to let go of all the weight that is keeping us from doing that. You cannot expect to carry the Cross and the weight of the world because carrying the Cross alone is not easy. It requires you to forget about your flesh and do what pleases the Lord. If you focus on pleasing the world as well, you will eventually trip up causing you to drop the Cross. In this episode, we discuss a few things it takes to carry the Cross and to move with purpose. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God.

  13. 4

To Get to It, You Have to Go Through It

The only way to get to the promises that God has in store for us is to go through whatever it is that is standing in the way. Whatever that looks as though it will consume you, God will use to protect you. He never promised us that we would not have to go through anything, but He did say that He would be there with us along the way so that the waters will not consume us, and the fire will not burn us. In this episode, we tap into the book of Exodus and the story concerning Moses and the Red Sea. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God!

  14. 3

    Empty Fulfillments

In this episode, we will discuss the fulfillment of God. He is the bread of life. He wants to fulfill us with his purpose and things that will not go to waste. There is a reason why food eventually makes us hungry again. There is a reason why we eventually want more money than we have. There is a reason why we can sometimes feel insecure within ourselves. Secureness comes from in the things of God. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God!

  15. 2

    Loving God for Being God

What we pray about is not only important, but it's revealing as well. It can reveal both the good things that God can and will do for us, while also revealing the bad things that we need to work on in ourselves. What we pray about reflects what we believe about God. Not only is He our provider, but He is also our sustainer, protector, deliverer, keeper, and lover of our soul. This episode teaches us how to love Him for simply being Him and not just what He can do for us. It teaches us how our prayers can shift to hear revelation before elevation. Fasten your seatbelt and tune in while we sow and grow into the things of God!
