We Sing Our Faith Live with Julie Carrick: St Valentines Day
Saint Valentine was not simply a symbol of romance — he was a witness of courageous love. In the third century, he defied Emperor Claudius II by secretly performing Christian marriages for young couples, even though soldiers were forbidden to marry. Valentine also ministered to persecuted Christians, refusing to renounce his faith or worship pagan gods. For his devotion to Christ and to the sacredness of marriage, he was imprisoned and ultimately martyred — beheaded on February 14th, A.D. 269. Today, his legacy reminds us that real love is never just sentimental… it is sacrificial, faithful, and rooted in God. 📞 Call in: 877-757-9424 🌐 More at GRNonline.com 📲 Listen on GRN Radio App or any of our social media platforms
