Jason: A functional nondescript word. Kevin: Someone who loves and follows Jesus and learns from him.

Kevin: What is the gospel? Well, it's the entire, all-encompassing story of the Bible! The story that explains how all of humanity was cast out of God's kingdom because of our rebellion, and we are now trapped in a perpetual destructive cycle of sin, death, and wrath, killing and destroying each other, until Jesus, the prophesied prophet-priest-king brought heaven, which is the kingdom of God, down to earth and released it out to the rest of the world through his death and resurrection, establishing kingdom communities called churches, and now he reigns as the true Lord over all of the earth, and one day he will return to judge the world for the last time. Jason: God loves us. The Us is everyone. Everyone will live forever. Forever gets infinitely better. Because God loves us.

Jason: The official lore of God Kevin: The Bible is a meticulously crafted collection of writings that portray multiple different ancient journeys of faith in Yahweh from various perspectives and in various forms that provides us with models for our own journeys of faith in Yahweh, with the ultimate goal to provide a transformative vision for humanity.

Jason: God focused in present time within all reality. Kevin: The spotlight on Jesus and the fuel on which the people of God’s kingdom build.

Jason: Church: The family with God open to all church: a religious community center Kevin: Church: Community of people that embody the love of God to the rest of the world. church: community with which you practice embodying God’s love.

Jason: Jesus fully existed in reality. Kevin: Jesus came to defeat the forces of sin and death for good through his life death and resurrection.

Jason: God incarnate in a human Kevin: Jesus Christ is the fully human messiah of Yahweh who God sent to fully and completely submit his reign over creation through his life death and resurrection. He is both the advent of the kingdom of God upon the world as well as the manifestation of his kingdom authority as the one true king of God’s creation.

Kevin: Acknowledging the reality of God. Jason: The process of them becoming us.

Kevin: A failure to love God and/or a failure to love people. Jason: That which is done in denial of reality.
